Signature shaped roof and windows? Yep-they're there. The familiar booths? Settle right in. The classic red cups? They've got 'em! In many ways, it's like a trip back to the 80s and 90s... it's so comfy and cozy. They can't serve pizza in the original black pans-too easy to get burned on those. But there's one of the vintage light fixtures in the entry. The only things missing are the jukebox, the buffet and the sit-down Ms Pac Man machine. What's not missing: great service and great food. The pizzas are incredible! It's amazing what a difference it makes eating in. Not that PH delivery isn't good-it's very good-but a fresh pie coming straight to the table-yummo!!! We ordered two large pizzas and a personal pan for my niece (which was free for kids, btw) plus breadsticks. Everything was cooked to perfection and piping hot. It was the perfect capper to a fun, pre-Christmas day with family... and Ron, our server-was awesome. He took such good care of us and was so friendly and nice. The restaurant is clean, right there on the main drag, has lots of parking and some cute holiday decor. All this-served with a side of glorious nostalgia... yes, please! Disappointing service from start to finish. On November 17, we ordered a pesto margherita pizza that arrived with no pesto sauce. We called Pizza Hut immediately to report the mistake and were left on hold for 20 minutes. When the employee finally returned, she took our information and offered to resend the pizza. Since our kids had already eaten the pizza as-is, we asked for a credit instead. We were placed on hold again for several more minutes. When she came back, she told us her manager approved a credit to our account. Fast forward two weeks later -- we called to use the credit and were told no credit existed. The person we spoke to said he was a manager and bluntly told us he "didn't have time for this." Mistakes happen, but poor communication, long hold times, broken promises, and dismissive management are unacceptable. We won't be ordering again. read more

One star isn't worth it. Worst service I've ever experienced. They made the wrong kind of pizza after waiting half an hour for carryout. When I asked how long the second pizza would take, the woman said abruptly "8 minutes now step away from the counter and sit down." I said "really? I asked a simple question." Hi Pizza Hut - corporate said to go online and so here I am! Forest Lake Minnesota Buckle up, here's a ride for you! My family and I decided to go to our late brothers favorite food for dinner as we are not able to get together often and we were celebrating getting his face on a billboard to raise awareness of his passing. That happened to be Pizza Hut. Walking in we were instructed to have a seat, but come to the counter to order as they are short staffed so there's no one to wait on the table. No problem, we've all been there! We get situated and I go to order for the table at the counter. First thing I ask is to get one order of breadsticks and one order of cheese sticks. I am then told that the breadsticks are actually like garlic bread toast. I open and referred to the menu and point to what I am asking for. The breadsticks and the cheese sticks... not the garlic toast. I am then told that the breadsticks are just the cheese sticks without the bread. I nod, I mean, maybe it's been a long day... and I just say yes I am aware of that and that is what I would like. Moving past the breadsticks, I ask if they carry the taco pizza because it says only available at some locations. They informed me that yes they do. So I ordered a large taco pizza, and then I'm immediately told that they do not have the bean sauce. They cannot make the pizza. Apparently whoever closed last night forgot to take the "frozen brick of bean sauce" out of the freezer. OK fine. Short staffed, roll with it. We order a meat lovers instead. We go on to order two kids meals, a veggie pizza, and another small personal pizza along with six adult drinks and two child drinks. We're told the drink cups are next to the fountain soda station as are the plates and napkins and help ourselves, so we do so. Although we realize quickly the machine is out of ice and the pop coming out is room temperature or so. Shortstaffed, So we roll with it... we just ask if they could please put ice in the machine so that we can have cold drinks. We're told they're not sure if they can get to that. So then I asked for the kids cups, we're also told that there's no such thing that they have to use the large adult cups. Apparently, corporate won't order any smaller size cups. OK fine.... Moving on with warm sodas and giant cups for my two-year-old. The food begins to come out and it's all as we order, so we're moving past the bumps on the road, just waiting on our last pizza. We also hear ice hit the machine so we are able to get cold drinks. Yay! While we're waiting for the last pizza, we are just enjoying family conversation as we begin to hear loud arguing coming from the kitchen. Apparently they're in the middle of firing one of their drivers and they are doing so in such a way that the entire restaurant can hear what they are saying. They are yelling at this teenage boy loudly aggressively, and with frustration, so loudly that it's hard to carry on our own family conversations. I am trying to distract my two children from what is going on with coloring and silly jokes, but it was very unprofessional for this boy to be getting reamed at for the entire restaurant to hear. Once that was over, we're 20 minutes into getting our food and we still have not gotten our last pizza. My dad goes up to the counter and asked on the status of the final pizza. He is told that he never ordered that pizza. So my dad walks back to the table, collects his receipt and brings it to the front figuring that would help solve the problem as it's clearly on the receipt. The man working glances at it, then looks at my dad and says If you're gonna argue me about it then all I can do is give you store credit. This is sort of the last straw for my dad so he responds that he would not like store credit because he will not be returning to the establishment. He would simply like the pizza that he paid for. He was then told he would not be getting the pizza, and they will not do a refund. And now they won't do store credit (Not that we wanted it anyway anyways) And that they think we should just leave. It's in the middle of this family dinner. They are asking a family with two small children who simply ordered three pizzas and some breadsticks to leave the restaurant because they do not want to complete our order. We grab what we can, as my daughters are saying that they are still hungry, and leave the establishment as this is clearly not worth arguing about. Corporate will be informed. I don't know what the solution here is, and trust me we have compassion for being shortstaffed, but there comes a point and that point was reached at this establishment. We were told repeatedly that is under new management and apparently they don't do anything for their staff, so maybe that's where they start? Either way I'm assuming this Pizza Hut is not long for business if this kind of behavior continues. Go elsewhere! read more

First of all outrageous price for the service that you get. I get there and they didn't even have my correct order. It was right on the receipt. I had correctly made my order, but they gave me just a breadsticks. Then continue to wait another 25 minutes just to get an incorrect order again. Called back. We order from here at least monthly and the order was messed up. I called the guy who was speaking said he couldn't look up my order that he had like 40 other orders for today and doesn't have the time to go through them just to find me since the driver didn't give me a receipt. I told this guy it was a mobile app order and still nothing as I am asking him how to order in the future to prevent this he hung up on me. When we got there, they said it would be a 50 minute wait if we ordered off the menu, so we just got food from the buffet. We walked up to the buffet and there was no silverware left, no plates, and maybe like 3 slices of pizza left. We asked the worker to bring out some silverware and he did, but some of the forks still had food on it as if it didn't get washed. 3/28/2021 We arrived at the Forest Lake Pizza Hut at 5:30 last night. The place was empty except for two tables and one gentleman waiting for his to-go order. At the counter was a woman who was arguing with what I believe was the manager on duty. We stood in the entry for 15 minutes. We were not acknowledged, greeted or anything. They had about 6 people in the kitchen and the manager and one waitress. We were passed by several times by the waitress and one other person several times and still were not acknowledged or seated. We left after 15 minutes and drove to Applebees and got excellent service and a great meal. We were craving pizza but, that evidently was not in the cards. I will not be back to Pizza Hut. read more

We have been loyal customers at this location for years. However, after today we will not be giving them our business. We called to order 3 pepperoni pizza melts, a very simple order. When we recieved the order, they were all meat lovers instead. I was frustrated, because we don't eat certain types of meat, but understanding that mistakes happen. The girl on the phone said she will send us new ones and hung up on me. An hour later I call back checking on our order & they referred me to a higher up delivery driver who told us that the person who took our phone order told the kitchen to 'disregard' our order and not replace it. So now it's been 2 hours and we find out we aren't getting any food, so we had to order elsewhere. The driver on the phone said he cannot issue a refund and to call the next day. The next day I call to speak to the manager Laura. She was polite at first, but switched like a light switch when I was explaining the mistakes to her. She had no consideration or apologies on the issue. She said she would give me credit, but no refund of my money. I don't find that fair, beings that we never even touched our food and had to buy a second dinner on top of that. She said she has no proof that we didn't eat all the food and still asked for a refund. We have been polite customers for years and would never do something like that. I feel like her morals are really messed up on doing what is right and correct. They never replaced our mistaken order and/or they never refunded us. We received 2 missed calls from an unknown number, but we did not answer because, let's be honest, it's 2020, who answers unknown numbers these days. But the driver did not attempt to leave a voicemail or send a text message. Which it isn't. So I called and spoke with a very rude lady who said the driver was at your house and we called with no answer. No they didn't.. I was by my phone and at home. Tried to order a pizza last night. I was told by the male that answered the phone that any pizza was $11. I ordered a Meat Lovers and a second pizza with two toppings. The guy couldn't understand my phone number and I ended up talking to BECKY, who unfortunately is the manager there. What a BITCH! She gave me the price which was not for two pizzas at $11 and hung up on me. When I arrived I was given a price over $25. I told her that was not what I had asked for.
