This is not the best "Pizza Inn" the world.... not by a long shot. So I have to be honest and tell you that despite Houston having bad pizza and Texas having bad Pizza, this is probably the worst I've eaten in Houston, and yes even worse than the likes of Little Caesars, Papa John's and so on. It was basically just frozen pizza, like the cardboard kind, and that sugary tomato sauce was icky AF, and bad all round. It wasn't worth a cent of the measly dollar that I paid for it. The reason I gave it a mediocre rating is because we all know Houston has mostly terrible pizza. And the fact that it's a dollar for a slice it's basically a steal, so unlike some of the awful $7 to $10 choices, we're talking about some of the cheapest pizza in Tejas. However, I had to take one more star off unfortunately, because the woman that was working here was extremely unfriendly. Acted really annoyed that I was here and that I was buying pizza from them. I found that to be disappointing because I never tried this place before and it could have at least got them up to the three stars that I would have given them otherwise. At least my cats enjoyed it, ish.

Pleasantly surprised by welcoming and friendly service and clean atmosphere! I love the to-go option for the buffet. Price for 2 adults with 1 drink was $30. The options on the buffet were limited to a salad bar, 9 pizzas (4 options), a Stromboli, overly-dry pasta bar, and 3 dessert options (all with cinnamon, a major allergen for some). The pizza was average buffet pizza but was overly drenched in sauce, causing it to be soggy. The salad bar options were good for the price of the buffet. If you're looking for a CLEAN all-you-can-eat pizza buffet, this is the place to go, but don't expect 5 star pizza.

The pizza was good just needing more options to choose their was a little bit Pizza to choose from but a good place to come and hopefully there put more options to choose from

80's pizza, furniture, decor, staff. Out of all that, only the 80's staff kept its charm. I came for the pizza, I left with memories of my grandmother. ;)

We love pizza inn. Sadly we'd not been much due to covid. We'd also gotten food takeout and eaten in the parking lot. We are from s w Houston. We'd never ventured behind the cashier but you can see a patio as you pay. I inquired. As I was paying for my takeout. My luck. I was talking to the owner. I asked if we could dine on patio, we have a small dog. He said he'd never had such a request. He considered it right away. I returned to my car to wait for the food. In that time, he informed his mgr. I was so delighted. We are here now. And we are so pleased. Great meal, pizza buffet, pasta, salad, good selections salad and fresh,, dessert, and especially patio dining with the dog. Thank you so much. Now we can frequent more. Owner so nice and appreciates our business. Esp delicious today choc pudding and the jello and cool whip. Of course the pizza. Mushrooms, beef and pepperoni. Love the crust! Highly recommend. Staff excellent.

Some of y'all are silly gooses Anyway, my friend and I came by on a Thursday night and it was pretty busy! The inside of the restaurant is decorated with so many Italian knick knacks which gives this place a cozy vibe. Instead of ordering an appetizer and an entree, my friend and I decided to order 3 things from the appetizer menu: Arancini Montanare Impepata Napoletana The arancini was delicious! The exterior/crust wasn't too thick and was fried nicely. As for the filling, it had cheese, beef, and tomato sauce- yum! I really enjoyed the montanare because it came with 3 different toppings. Not to mention, the bread was fantastic! All 3 were great but my favorite was the one with smoked provolone, anchovy, and the red chili on top (I believe that's what the red topping is). The Impepata Napoletana was another solid dish- loved the white wine sauce with garlic and pepper. Although it was a tad bit too salty for me, it paired nicely with the bread. For dessert, my friend got the pistachio gelato and I ordered the Tiramisu. Both were a great way to end dinner. Food was wonderful, our waiter was very friendly/welcoming, and the vibes were lovely. This spot is a gem!

It is a family place - kids everywhere, climbing booths and kicking seats - not the staff's fault, but know that your kiddos will feel at home here. Staff was very apologetic but was unable to offer any of their specialty items due to understaffing or lack of availability of ingredients (server was unclear). Drove an hour and a half for nothing, it seems. Disappointing... What we did get was tasty, but it wasn't what I wanted and therefore did not redeem the trip. The cost was not worth it, in my opinion.

Then onto the Cacio e Pepe Arancini. Cacio e Pepe is my favorite pasta, so I was a little disappointed they don't have it on the menu as a dish itself, but the arancini was delicious! For mains, my husband had the salmon. We ordered it medium and it came more well done, however, it was perfectly crispy on the outside and still moist in the center. Very tasty. I had the ricotta cavatelli, which might be the best pasta I've ever had. The shrimp were so plump and fresh. There was plenty of crab throughout. And the flavor had the perfect amount of salt and spice. My husband, who isn't a pasta person loved it too. It's a nice open space and service was friendly. They need to have a way to date the containers for each items they make. I just bought it last night and was quite upset when I was making late dinner.
