There's a reason we keep going back for more! This Romas is our go-to for take-out pizza, we've never dined in but we've picked up countless times. We get Romas when we're craving a pizza night in, hosting game nights, cooking wings, and when we just don't feel like cooking ourselves. While the pepperoni pizza is a regular order, we also like to explore the menu. We often order their dinner specials and I love their salad. They also offer their dressings as sides in multiple sizes. We like to order extra ranch and blue cheese to use for other dishes. The team here is friendly and efficient and most of the time our order is perfect. Every once in a while a sauce, side salad, or meatball has been missing. But, we trust this spot to be consistent and deliver a great pie. read more

SO I was having a get to gether with some of my old friends and I wanted to get some pizza. One of my buddies said to oreder pizza from here. It has been around since the 70's and he said their pizzas were amazing. I looked online and saw you can order from their website. I wanted to order it ahead of time and have my friend pick it up. So I called in the order at lunch time. It was a bit strange since they just answered the phone and didn't say Roma's. I asked if it was Roma's and he said it was. The guy was really nice and I ordered two large pizzas. One combination and the other a mushroom. My friend picked it up with no problem. It was ready at 4:30PM when I instructed them to. The pizzas were so good. The crust is thick the way I like them and the toppings were so fresh. The pizza was a good size too. I really enjoyed them a lot and I will order from them again. Love it and not a bad price. I think comparable to Round Table and totally worth the price. Sorry I didn't take pictures since it was a gathering we just dug in and ate it all heheh read more

Recently tried pizzas (Margarita and Combo) and some Ravioli from this Roma's location. Overall, I like the pizzas from here, but for some reason the crust was very hard and nearly inedible the last trip. Nonetheless, overall good-tasting, quality pizzas. I enjoyed the raviolis. I will say the garlic bread served with it isn't anything special, but still nice to have it to pair with the dish. All-in-all, a solid spot. read more

My husband and I visited Roma's Pizzeria about 10 years ago and we hadn't been back since. We visited on Friday for a work thing and unfortunately the pizza wasn't as good as I remembered. There was a group of about 10 of us so we ordered a few pizzas to share - Pepperoni, Roma's Special and a Combination. We also ordered a Chef's Salad and Cheesy Bread. I enjoyed the toppings, but there were also just too many on the Special and Combination pizzas. The crust was very thick and hard to chew as well. I did enjoy the salad and cheesy bread though. The inside needs a major upgrade, but there is plenty of seating and even a giant bar that I am sure is frequented by many locals. Staff were also very nice and hard working. Roma's Pizzeria has been around for 50 years and that's one of the reasons that I am giving 4 stars and not lower. It says a lot and I wish them continued success for another 50 years. Unfortunately, it was just not my favorite pizza and I can't see myself coming back. read more

I had another chance to try Roma's Pizza, this time sadly after my uncle's wake. The family ordered Roma's pizza because it was my uncle's favorite. They ordered three pizzas, two loaded with various meats and one vegetarian. The meat pizzas were loaded with 5-6 types of meats and sausages, etc...quite a pie for meat lovers. I enjoyed the vegetarian with peppers, mushrooms, and onions. The crust was delicious, it was tangy, a little salty, and homemade tasting. Craveable. The cheese was ample and delicious. FYI the bottom crust was dark but that's their style, and it was ok. It just goes to show everyone can have an off day, but this was a great pizza experience and a sweet memory to toast my uncle. read more

The ravioli was delicious! The sauce was chunky, had good flavor, and was very tasty. The garlic bread was very buttery with a strong garlic flavor which complimented the ravioli well. The cheese bread was made using mozzarella cheese so it wasn't over powering, however the bread was just a hoagie roll. The margarita pizza was tasty, although it did not contain many toppings. read more

It's all about the crust. I have been coming to this place for over 40 years. Thank goodness it never changes. The portions are huge and the pizzas have no equivalent in this part of the world. Old-fashioned/old school/an oldie, but a goodie. I especially enjoy the pizza margarita and the white pizza which is not listed on the menu. The two dining room rooms are strictly Italian America 1950s with their murals of Venice. Long live Romas. read more

I was excited to try this place out because I've heard so many good things, but it was a total let down. The only good thing I have to say is that the staff are friendly and the sodas are crisp... The place looks old and rundown. It definitely needs a makeover. The pizza tastes doughy and flavorless, the cheese and pepperoni were falling off the pizza, the garlic bread was lacking in flavor, and the service was super slow. The ceiling fans were on, and I was freezing my butt off. There's limited seating inside and not too many parking spots available. There was a family in the dining area with loud, unhinged children-- flailing on the floor and being dragged out the door. It was not a fun experience for me. Definitely won't be coming back. I honestly don't know why this place has good reviews. read more

The pizza was ooey gooey and melty. The sausage was enormous and the crust was thin just like I like it!! My boyfriend and I shared the Roma Special in a size small and it was the perfect size for us. The waiter was really nice and personable. I love me a good hole-in-the-wall restaurant because you never know what to expect but this one was a really good choice for pizza! The seatings itself is not the most fancy but I'm mainly here for the food. Definitely recommend trying it out. read more

This pizza place is popular for what else, the pizza. There isn't a pizza topping combo that you wouldn't like. Everything is tasty! I even enjoy their green salads topped with a generous serving of sliced salami. Located in a small strip mall with limited parking. At times you park on Franklin blvd or around the corner along the neighborhood street. This place is small with limited indoor dining seating. Remember the old school Italian restaurants? You know, the ones with great pizza, raviolis, spaghetti, meat balls and sausage? No fancy decorations and the aroma of delicious food. And bread. I found this pizza place on my way to work after reading the many positive reviews. I ordered a small combination pizza to go. The wait was about 15 minutes. The place looks ~ 30 years old and they have a small dining area where I waited. The service was very friendly. The hand tossed pizza was heavy on the meats but tasted great with the marinara sauce and excellent crust. I look forward to coming back to try their pasta and sandwiches. read more

Excellent pizza, beautiful stringy cheese, generous toppings, crunchy crust. I've been visiting this place since I started chewing food 38 years ago. The flavors have never changed, and I love that. It's 100% my comfort pizza and will travel from Fair Oaks specifically for this locations pizza. I've traveled to Italy, and my daughter is self-appointed official judge of what a real pizza tastes like. The dough is soft and chewy as it's supposed to be, never mushy, and the sauce is pure ingredients without a whole bunch of flavors that you can't identify. I love Roma's pizza. I love their Roma's special or the all meat. It's always quality ingredients and fresh. I love to get their chef salad on the side. The only reason why I give them a 4 and not a 5 is because I only like Roma's when they are fresh and not the next day. Versus round table pizza I like the first day and the next day. I love this family business. We usually order some pizza, salad, and pasta. The pizza is great, nice crust, and I love the fresh flavors. The salad with the ham and salami is also very good. Their ranch is also good. I've had the lasagna in the past in enjoyed it. You can't go wrong with anything you order. My parents come here every time they are in town, it's one of the places they miss the most since moving to Utah. read more

First time partaking in this establishment. Had an opportunity to speak with the owner and he shared with me his family has been in business for 50 plus years. Really friendly staff. The environment feels like an older Italian pizza spot. Its smells delicious just how you would expect a pizza place to. I ordered a cheese and a Roma special. It was well made. It's a good spot but not the best in the Sacramento area. Prices are competitive as well. read more

"Roma's" used to be my favorite place for pizza. I went to the other locations around Sac. Pizza was always good, takeout or dine-in. This was my first time ordering from this location on 24th Street. I didn't even know about this one until we moved into the area. So I was pretty excited about getting my favorite pizza right in my hood. Hubby wanted Luigi's but Roma's was closer and cheaper. It's in a pretty sketch little corner, next to a laundromat and a liquor store, and parking is tight. I ordered online and it was ready a half hour later. I walked in and the 2 cooks just stared at me, no greeting, and there was no one at the host station to help me. I stood there for a minute and one of the cooks asked what I needed. I usually look at the pizza before I leave to make sure it's what I ordered but he handed me my large combo and it was taped up. I just wanted to get the heck outta there so I left after asking for some cheese and peppers. Customer service is not the best, which I can overlook if the pizza is good. The pizza looked hella bomb, the usual Roma pizza I've always loved, but my first bite was not good. It wasn't the toppings, it was the crust. Super hard, no chew, and got really soggy in the middle. I was so sad!!!! Normally, me and my husband can demolish a whole pizza (or most of a large size), but there was a lot of leftovers. Next time we are ordering from Luigi's. read more

I have always liked Roma's pizza. Their crust is fantastic. Lots of delicious toppings. It's not close to my house, but I will drive there to get their pizza. The other night, I placed my order through their website. One of the items was a large Margherita with shrimp. When I got home, we discovered that there was no shrimp on the pizza. Like I mentioned earlier, they are not close to my house. We were very annoyed to say the least! I was going to write a zero star review and talked about getting cheated on my order. I happen to notice a link within one of the confirmation emails that allows customers to communicate if something went wrong. Perfect! I filled in the boxes and sent off my complaint. To be honest, I wasn't expecting a response...not even a short sorry. After submitting my complaint through their system, Roma's ended up refunding the entire cost of that pizza. I was really happy regarding the way they handled the situation. The owners seemed to be "stand up" kind of people. Like I mentioned at the beginning, they make fantastic food.
