The sourdough crust has an authentically great sourdough flavor to it, the char on the dough is fantastic and the flavors are inspired. I got a pepperoni pizza for my son and then my wife and I split a really inventive one with rosemary, hot honey, béchamel sauce, spicy Italian sausage and sliced potatoes. It is my new favorite pizza in Long Beach. I can't recommend this place enough, you have to go check it out. read more

Great pizza! The sourdough crust is outstanding. Thick enough to be classified as standard pizza, but, thin enough at the slice edges to be folded nearly NY style. The flavor of the crust is incredible. Good ratio of sauce, cheese, and toppings on the three different pies I've eaten so far. Nothing to complain about with this pizza. Parking lot is frequently full, but, there is parking on the residential street just past the parking lot. This is a very minor inconvenience when ordering takeout. Takeout is the way to go as the seating area is rather small. The salad was also not worth ordering. They should probably just take this off the menu. Every ingredient tastes like it's top quality and the sourdough crust is heavenly. But here's what ultimately sold me... I was waiting inside for a pickup order on a Friday night when it was backed up, and taking longer than expected. The chef was so kind, communicating with folks, calling orders for his staff and doing quality checks on every single box. My pizza came out of the oven and he looked it over, decided it wasn't perfect, and put it back on the pizza peel and held that long handle up over his head so my pizza was hovering a few inches from the top of the oven. He held it up like that, checking occasionally, until he was sure the cheese was exactly as brown as he wanted it and the crust was crackly and golden. Only then did he box it up and hand it over. And let me tell you, every bite was glorious. read more

SERVICE: Was greeted by the team upon entry. Even though the chefs are busy making pies, they were attentive to guests entering the shop. The ordering process was straight forward, there's a menu at the register, where you place your order. Chef Mike actually took our order and gave us his recommendations. We ordered and found a spot to seat as the shop is open seating. AMBIANCE: The shop is a vibe! It's clean, modern and spacious. Very clean, including the bathroom. From any seat in the shop, you have a great view of the open concept kitchen. You can see the pizzas getting made. The music was also a vibe. The playlist consisted of easy listening r&b and upbeat, but chill music. FOOD: First up; the House salad. It was fresh and vibrant with a huge portion of spring mix and plump cherry tomatoes and crunchy cucumbers. The dressing was on point! The Chef mention it was house made. I didn't ask what dressing it was but the dressing was SO GOOD.. with fresh dill.. it was a light but creamy dressing, definitely recommend. Next, the pizza really amazed me. It came out so fresh and piping hot. One Pizza filled my husband and I up easily with 4 slices each. Yes. We ate the whole thing! Key highlights of the pizza were the crust.. the crust was beautifully crispy with the perfect crunch. It was easily foldable to delivery the savory toppings. The sauce was just the perfect amount of acid, saltiness, sweetness that should be in a pizza sauce. It complimented the sourdough crust very well, in addition to the cheese, pepperonis and sausage-- we got the Double Trouble. Each bite was delicious with the right amount of pepperoni and sausage covering the pie. The pizza was not greasy at all.
