Wow!! So good! We finally tried Pizza Parlor this weekend and it was delicious. We tried the Bacon Jamming & Cheese pizza, both were very good. The ranch salad was also fresh and the ranch dressing was bomb! The service was impeccable from our phone in order, to picking up pizza. Parking was easy and shop is cute with a few tables. Highly recommend, the other plus from me - was not a 45min wait or longer on a Friday night - though I imagine that will change as people discover it. We will definitely put it into our regular rotation. read more

SO GOOD. excellent flavors and quality. Best ranch (with dill!) I've ever had. Every time I call I ask the chef to make my daughter garlic bread (she can't eat cheese) and he always remembers me and makes it special for her. I love this place. If you're passing through Long Beach, you should try to have it. I get the double trouble and a couple ranches on the side. It' so good. Pairs really well with a beer from the brewery which is just three doors down. The vibes there are always good when I go in. Great service. This is the spot. Do it! read more

This may be the best pizza I've ever had, period. The sourdough crust was perfectly thin and crispy with great chew. The sauce was fresh and so was the basil. Great cheese ratio. This is obviously the Margarita pizza. We also got the 777 I think, which was spicy and took us by surprise. It was delicious but neither of us can handle spicy (anymore. Aging is hard ). The service was great! Such friendly people who were also jokesters which made it a very comfortable atmosphere and the food came out fast. Nothing more to say except you gotta try it. Ok, actually my one critique is that a name like Pizza Parlor is very broad and I couldn't find a sign that said "Pizza Parlor" . I swear on the billboard with all the restaurant names it says "pizza place" or something like that, but they both don't sound like real names, you know?! So I was a bit confused. Thankfully you can see the stacked pizza boxes from outside. read more

Tried pizza parlor for the first time. We got the TJ pizza and the double trouble. The sourdough crust is absolutely delicious. Toppings were yummy and fresh. Only gripe is that when you pick up a slice, literally all of the toppings slide right off. I don't know if it was too much sauce, but this was definitely a fork and knife kind of pizza. Definitely not something you could pick up. Service was nice, it's a small place so I would recommend take out. read more

The place is small but in my opinion it is one of my favorite spots to get a pie in the area, lots of different and unique pies to choose from and not to mention the tiramisu. I repeatedly buy pizza from here and the sour dough pizza is always hot and fresh. The energy in this place is always positive and the service is always attentive and ready to help even if this is your first time here. Pizza was excellent. Service very friendly. i had 1/2 Bacon Jamming and 1/2 Authentic Papa. Totally different flavors and both delicious and unique. Would order both again, but I will be trying other options first. Butcher block tables inside for 2 and 4 and a countertop along the window. A few tables outside too. Don't pass this place up if you are in the mood for delicious pizza. read more

First time here! We came between lunch and dinner so it was not crowded. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and a Double Trouble. Our sourdough crusts were tossed and our pizzas cooked in about 12-15 minutes. The Pepperoni in the small curly type aka perfection. Crust is on the thinner side and crispy! Pizzas were piping hot and delicious. Will definitely come back again. I read through the reviews before coming here and whoever said that they can't taste the sourdough and the pizza is taste blind. I always read the worse reviews because typically they are true but this was a clear lie. The texture and taste is exactly like sourdough but maybe a little bit softer and chewier which coincides well with Pizza. Standard good amount of cheese on the pizza and the pepperoni and sausage are excellent. My boys love it and they are pretty picky pizza eaters. I'm not picky I just love to critique things to the last detail of satisfaction or dissatisfaction. Pizza parlor has cool oldies bumping and it creates a vibe along with a lovely pizza that has an amazing crust. Everyone was nice and mellow and said hi and the pizza was quickly done. There were two other groups here before me and I asked about how they liked the place and everyone loves it. I'm totally a fan! I love the fact that they ferment their dough and he said for five days!! The secret to a no heart burn pizza! Haha seriously though!! Wow!! Delicious crust and overall flavor! Got the BTSC Pizza with béchamel sauce, sausage, pickled fresno & jalapeño peppers, purple sweet potato, and scallions.... And a delicious sourdough crust so light and fluffy... had a great crunch. My husband and I are immediate fans and will try many more pizzas on their menu. This is a much better pizza than Ottimo's Pizza which was in the same spot not too long ago. read more

Order to-go via toast app because not available on Uber eats. Pizza was delicious and had lots of flavor but the fact it was significantly overcooked took away from the quality of the sourdough bread. The pizza was at least 3 shades darker than what was advertised online and a little difficult to chew, despite this the sauces and cheese were still so good. Pizza was fine but their ability to fill orders on time was horrible. Placed an order online for pickup at 6pm and at 6:45 it is ready... not cool when kids are waiting and you have places to get to... they also ran out of boxes... not a good experience at all read more

The pizza was just ok. Kinda small 14" for the price point. 25 dollars and 20 dollars for the cheese pizza. The meatball sando was a 18 I think. And with the salad, I was in the hole about 75 bucks. That aside, I wasn't happy with the service. The guy that took our order seemed off. Very robotic in his response and the loud rap music was very offensive. I'm older and used to enjoy hip hop back in the day but what this guy was playing was nothing like Ive ever heard and not appropriate for listening while customers are trying to enjoy food. I won't be back. read more

Amazing sourdough pizza spot - easily some of the best pizza in Long Beach yet is super convenient; the spot is in a small shopping center with parking and it's easy to order online for pick up. They've only been open for five months so they might not have the kinks out yet, but the place seems like they're operating by the seat of their pants. It took 45 minutes to get two pizzas out, one of which was made wrong. A brisk take out business but people were also waiting and getting grumpy. The pizzas were okay, but with so much good pizza in Long Beach right now, I'm not sure it's worth it. Parking is impossible but that's not really their fault. read more

Raspberry dream, 2. salted caramel, 3. White chocolate raspberry (cutie pie), 4. marionberry (nicely tart, full of berries but a bit dry, went well with ice cream), 5. whiskey peach (too much crust, not enough peach, not very peachy). Everything feels clean, classy and thoughtfully put together. When you first arrive, seeing the line out the door can be a little intimidating. Usually at places like this, I feel like I have to fight for my life to find a table, but thankfully that wasn't the case here. The staff was very kind and asks how many are in your party and helps you get a table, which made everything much less stressful. They also give you menus while you wait so you can decide what you want ahead of time. We arrived at 10:30am and our wait was about 30 minutes so by the time we were able to order at 11am, the lunch menu was also available. I ordered the tater tots, Cinnagave Shaken Espresso, Dutch Baby Pancake and country sourdough toast with jam. With tax and tip, my total came out to around $40. It's definitely pricier than what I normally pay for breakfast. Most entrées range from $17-$34 and coffees are around $5-$10, so you can easily spend $30+ for one person. In these hard times, that's not exactly ideal for me. I also wanted to try a pastry to get the full experience, but when I found out the small blackberry danish was $7, I decided to pass. I just couldn't justify getting that close to $50 for breakfast for one person. Now for the food! The country sourdough toast with jam was actually my favorite item. The homemade sourdough was incredible and honestly deserves its roses. It sounds like such a simple thing, but it was so well done and easily the standout for me. Visually, the Dutch Baby Pancake was beautiful and definitely impressive when it came out. I've always wanted to try one, so I was excited! I will say, I've read everywhere that Dutch babies are supposed to have more of a custardy center and even the photos I've seen look that way. Mine didn't really have that texture at all and tasted more like a crepe. Maybe it was a little overcooked? It wasn't bad, just not quite what I expected. Still delicious! Unfortunately, the tater tots were the biggest disappointment. They weren't crispy, didn't taste seasoned and sort of fell apart until they became one big potato mess. My cousins and I ended up not finishing them. One of my cousins ordered the summer peach and corn salad, which she liked! Just a heads-up that it's only available after 11 a.m. My other cousin got the skillet, she mentioned feeling a little disappointed since it tasted a little dry and didn't finish her plate. However they both ordered the Curious George drink and LOVED it! The Cinnagave Shaken Espresso was also fantastic. Coffee is definitely something they do very well here and I can see myself getting again. Overall, the aesthetics are adorable and I could see this being a great date spot. The coffee was fantastic, the sourdough was amazing, but the rest of the food was just okay for us. That was a little disappointing because everything sounds SO good on paper. Maybe we just caught them on an off day. The prices are probably the biggest thing holding me back from coming back regularly. Spending $30-$40+ per person for breakfast isn't really in my budget right now, but if this is within your price range, you may have a completely different experience. When I review a place, I try to take the overall experience, personal taste and effort into account. For now, I'm leaving Zuzu's Petals at 4 stars because the effort is definitely there, and what isn't my cup of tea may be someone else's liquid gold. I'd still give them another chance in the future... after I get paid!

When I arrived, I was told that the pizza would be ready in another five minutes. However, it ended up taking a bit longer than expected. Despite the slight delay, I remained patient and enjoyed the anticipation of my hot and delicious pizza. The customer service was excellent, and the enticing smells wafting through the parlor were irresistible. The pizza itself was fantastic! It reheated well, although the crust was a bit darker than my preference. I'm not a fan of burnt or dark crusts, but overall, it was still a great pizza.
