We love to get the #4 and it rarely disappoints. While not our usual location, I have to say everything was great. Upgraded the pizza to a mondo on Sunday after working in the yard all day. Pizza was hot, fresh and has a lot of sauce and cheese which we love! The #4 also comes with a full bucket of wings. We are wimps, so we get mild and can't complain! Good mix of wings and drumsticks. To start the only good thing is the games, those rip you off too. When you order, you'll have to wait for a least 30 minuets while other people get served before you and they got here after you. The disrespect of that makes me sick to my stomach. When I got my food it wasn't the quality I was was looking for. The tv is spanish and the subtitles are in spanish so the english customers can't enjoy the tv while they wait. All in all, don't waste your life with this place and their uneven tiles. Terrible service! We ordered a combo from here which included a pizza, chicken, and fries. We were told the order would be complete in 20 minutes. We ordered at 5:47 pm and arrived at the location approx. 20 minutes later. After paying for our order, we were told it would be an additional 8 minutes. We went outside for 5 minutes and went back in. The were told it would be an additional 8-10 minutes for our order. We requested a refund at that point. The guy issuing the refund then pointed to the receipt and said "we took your order at 6:00 pm and promised you it would be ready at 6:40 pm." Simply not true! We will NEVER visit this establishment again. Very unprofessional and rude. Why should I pay for that? If I could rate it less than 1 star I would. We ordered food for work here and told them w are in Stead and they verified that they delivered out here and then when their delivery driver got lost we all of a sudden received a phone call saying that they do not deliver out here. We normally frequent pizza plus on Vista (close to home). Pizza plus is normally pretty good, tonight is an exception to that rule. We ordered a pizza, delivered (first time we ordered it delivered) took 2 hours for delivery and they delivered the wrong pizza (not happy after 2 hours). So after a phone call and 20-30 min later they delivered the correct order. So our order took 2-1/2 hours, we finally received the correct order. Not sure if I will ever order pizza from pizza plus delivered again!!! I know mistakes can be made, and they do, but after a 2 hour wait and the delivery guy can't find the right order is a little discouraging!!! read more

Ten years ago they were the best, now mediocre. They use to make and throw their own crust ,now manufactured crust. The pepperoni was the best, now it is so thin that a pepperoni pizza does not taste like pepperoni. It looks like pepperoni, but that is it. We love the pizza and wings at pizza plus. We have been avid customers for a long time now and the quality of food is always great. However, this location has completely left us disappointed. We ordered pizza and wings for delivery and were told it would be about 45 minutes. We live about 6 minutes away from this location so we figured that would be ok. We literally waited 2 AND A HALF HOURS before we had to ask for a refund. We called at the 1 hour mark and were told they were on their way. Called at the 1.5 hour mark and they said they would be delivering in 20 minutes. We finally called after 2.5 hours and the cashier basically said the driver didn't get the right apartment number and drove back to the restaurant. They have our number, so why didn't they just call us to confirm? Or at least to tell us about the delays? We tried to be as understanding and as patient as possible but honestly it's so ridiculous and frustrating having to wait that long. read more

Went in on a somewhat busy evening and all of them were in a great mood and very attentive. I went to the counter to ask the gal for a lighter (I came unprepared for a birthday lol). She went to the back and I kid you not EVERY employee that saw me asked if I had been helped and/or greeted me. Even someone who was on their break. I normally get their pizza to-go, but today my husband and daughter had their lunch buffet. Very disappointing. It was probably around their lunch rush I guess you can say since it was just after noon when we arrived, and there were maybe 4 couples/families in there including us. There were 2 pizzas out when we came in with just a few slices of each left. I grabbed some for myself and daughter and should've just grabbed my husbands because by the time he went to grab his it was gone. 3 times in the next 10 min he kept checking back and nothing still put out. When they finally put just one pizza out, it was gone in about a minute and he got one measly slice of pepperoni and jalapeño pizza. This was basically all they put out the next couple rounds, which sucked cause I couldn't give it to my 2 year old since the Jalapeno's were pretty strong. It was a very poorly put together buffet, next to the pizzas are several metal containers of the regular fries, garlic fries and then 3 different options of boneless wings that had more breading on it than chicken. A family of 5 came and sat in the booth next to ours at some point in between all this and got tired of waiting for the pizza and went and asked for their refund. The guy actually did it, but the customer was also complaining about the flies that were inside and the guys excuse was, well it's summer and we can't control the flies when we open and close the door. There is also another review on here about the restroom not having soap. I can say it was the same for this visit, only my daughter was able to basically get the last 2 drops out. I went and told someone but never saw if anyone went to replace it and didn't go back in to check. If you're looking to come here for their lunch buffet, I'd say it's really not worth it. Of course by the time we left at about 1, the place had just one other couple in it and they finally had 3 pizzas out so maybe just come around 1 if you do. After the fiasco at Pizza Factory, I was so ready for some good pizza, a nice buffet, and a happy grandson. We got this all at Pizza Plus. When a pizza got low, they quickly replaced it with fresh pizza, nice, tasty pizza, not like that dried out zombie pizza like P.F. This was second time trying Pizza plus out.. briefly.. as new Nevada resident I had ordered delivery about a month ago.. got quoted 45 mins for my delivery order and it arrived 2hours later and cold..I ended up making a frozen freezer pizza because kids were hungry and couldn't wait. When pizza arrived it was cold and crust was really toasty over cooked and pizza tasted dry. Chicken wings looked like chicken was a crack head.. skinny no meat on chicken wings not to mention they smelled like been sitting in freezer for a while. This is a horrible example of a pizza joint. When you arrive and the front counter employee is cursing and is so unprofessional that it is a deterrence form ordering in the future that is a problem. I am a pizza connoisseur. I have my own signature sauce and cheese combination as well as dough recipe that I enjoy making for my family. When we want good pizza for a party or just don't want to make dinner, this is the pace I choose. When I lived in California, the only other pizza place I enjoyed was Rusty's Pizza Parlor. Once I FINALLY figured out you can't get to the business on Vista Blvd via Vista Blvd I was glad I found them via Los Altos. I had decided to use one of the 'coupons' I had purchased from a Boy Scout (who was with his father) in my neighborhood. I had already considered trying Pizza Plus and when the Boy Scout came to my door I knew it was a good plan. I went. I wasn't expecting much but when we (me and my grandson) tasted that Hawaiian pizza for the first time we were IMPRESSED. Natalie R. helped me with the order and I was grateful for her. Not only did she help me with the order but she sided with me on the fact the GPS systems could be better. She was delighted and surprised when I called her later to say THANK YOU! She, and the other man who was there, made my day. Also, next time I will tell the chefs - GOOD JOB! Came here for lunch buffet and was really disappointed. Pizza was okay the dough was in my opinion flat and no crunch at all. The " heat lamp table" where the "wings" and pizza are were not warm. I ordered a pizza on a Sunday evening in mid February never expecting to have to wait 2 HOURS for delivery! When I called after an hour and a half to see why it had yet to be delivered, I was informed that it would still be 20 minutes. I politely asked for a discount and was told that I could get a $15 discount on my next order. I rarely order pizza for delivery and therefore requested a discount to be applied to the current order. I was then informed that I would only be given a 15% discount which brought my order down less than $2. Very unhappy with the service until the driver showed up and only charged $15 and refused a tip. Pizza Plus on Vista has been a local neighborhood favorite of mine for many years. I realize your staffing/labor situation has been a challenge since Covid, however, it seems like there should be a better system to manage your take out and done in service. I don't think you are in the business of treating customers poorly in the name of being busy. If you did that to all of us, you would slowly start to lose all of your customers. Saturday nights are busy, which is why when I called to place my order I asked for a 5:00pm pick up time. I figu this would be plenty of time for my 5:30 engagement with friends. I arrived at 4:55 to pay for my food. They said it would be 5-7 minutes longer. Ok, no problem. I finally approached the counter at 5:25 to inquire about my order. The girl disappeared and sent a young man out who said one of my pizzas was "deformed" so they had to remake it. That felt like a lie. Your people make hundreds of pizzas a day, thousands per month. Its hard to believe they'd have a deformed pizza. Anyway, it got worse when I asked for extra ranch, since I was delayed, and all of my friends did were waiting for me. I paid for two additional 8 oz. of ranch. Therefore I am expecting to receive the "1" complimentary ranch, plus my two extra. Which is 24oz. of ranch. The girl said you ran out of 8oz. Containers. Ok. So in the styrofoam box are 6 2oz. Containers of ranch. She REFUSED to give me more ranch without paying an additional charge. I explained I already paid for extra, she said if I wanted anymore I'd have to pay. I am very frustrated because the most ranch I received was only 12oz. I explained how my order was delayed, and she absolutely didn't give an ounce of concern (pun intended). It will be a long time before I come back. I'll wait and go on a Wednesday at 11;40am when it won't be so busy. I would recommend developing a system to streamline your customers payments. The pizza and wings at this place are decent if you can manage to do a few nearly impossible tasks in order to obtain these items from this business. The first thing that you need to do is get through to them on the phone. This usually requires multiple attempts to get them to pick up the phone and then extreme patience once they answer because you will be put on hold for approximately 15 minutes before being hung up on and having to start the whole process again. If you manage to get through to them, you will then be told that delivery is between two and three hours out followed by a question as to whether or not you would like to continue with your order. If you answer yes, you will be answered by a somewhat incredulous employee with something the long the lines of "well okay, what do you want?". If you still have not hung up in anger, you will order your food and they will charge you, get off the phone and immediately make your food, box it, and place it under a hot lamp until it is your turn to be placed in the delivery vehicle. When you get your food, you will be eating pizza and chicken that was cooked two to three hours prior to you receiving it. So I guess if you would like to try pizza plus you had better be prepared to drive there and eat it at their facility. This has happened to me several times and after four to six months I always end up trying again and having the same thing happen. read more
