Example of the service at pizza ranch. 2 hours for the time of the order to delivery.

I hate to do this, but when it takes over an hour from the promised time of the food delivery to get to the house, it is unacceptable. Actually, it is one hour and 15 minutes after the promised time. I had to call and ask where my food is, got told it was enroute, while in fact it has not been picked up at all. Didn't want to cancel as I would get the food for free according to the worker that answered the phone. Not a good way to do business. If I wanted it 90 minutes later than promised I would have not ordered the food but made it myself. Thanks for the crappy delivery. Disappointing and sad.

Very busy on a Saturday night, but the food was excellent! Definitely coming back Tuesday for lunch when kids eat free.

For the price, the buffet seemed appealing at first glance, even though the selection was pretty limited--enchiladas, flautas, rice, beans, salad, a few traditional Mexican stews, and desserts. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill quickly. It all started with the complimentary chips, salsa, and what I believe was supposed to be queso. Maybe I've been spoiled growing up around great Latina cooks, but what I'm used to was nowhere to be found here. The food lacked seasoning, flavor--honestly, any sense of care. Instead of anything memorable, it felt like I was eating something that could easily have been replaced with cardboard. After deciding on the buffet, our server essentially forgot about us. A kind kitchen staff member eventually came out and refilled our drinks, which we appreciated. Much later, our server finally returned--not to check on us or handle payment--but just to tell us that we had to go up front to pay at the counter, despite our check and cards already sitting on the table. Overall, while the place looked promising at first, the food and service were both disappointing. It's not somewhere I'd personally return to, especially for a special occasion.

We ate dinner there, and it was apparent it was the leftover from lunch. You paid before you ate, (they even asked for a tip), and then the customer had to get everything, to include a self-serving drink bar and remove their dirty plates before returning to the line. Dirty fly covered dish cart left out in dining area, next to the drink glasses and dispenser just added to the misery. Entering the place, you had to walk past storage items. Can't imagine this place passes any health inspection.

No Vegetables in the "Vegetable Fried Rice." Okay, I exaggerated a LITTLE bit; there were two peas,…read moretwo tiny carrot pieces, five pieces of onion and three pieces of cabbage or something green. And that was it. It was mouthful after mouthful of ONLY RICE. The rice was good, I'll admit that, but where the F*ck were the broccoli, the mushrooms, the bamboo shoots, those flat green things with little peas inside, those yellow things that look like miniature corn cobs, and the scrambled egg scraps? I clearly ordered "Vegetable Fried Rice" over the phone. That there was a tiny amount of vegetable in it means they knew I wanted this rather than thought I said "only" plain rice. Shame on China Moon. Anyone knows that high quality vegetable fried rice comes with LOTS of vegetables in every mouthful. I could've just cooked up plain rice at home. One star to China Moon, will not be going back.

I'm of the firm opinion that the average rating for this place is the right rating. Very confused…read moreby the 4 and 5 star reviews and somewhat understanding of the 2 star ones. It is by far not the best mongolian grill I've been to -- but I mean, there aren't that many of these things around, are there? Let's take this chronologically. I was excited to discover that this place existed as we were driving north on 25 to Denver and happened to be passing Pueblo around lunchtime. The fact that it's super accessible from the highway made it ideal. When we walked in, I almost walked out. The entire restaurant smelled like bathroom. Literally like I had walked into a bathroom. I have to assume that this is unusual. I was surprised people were actively eating. We wandered over to the food/ingredients line to see if our noses would adapt and to check out the situation. The food looked good. All the vegetables looked fresh, didn't see any wilting. The freeze-dried rolls of meat were still appropriately freeze dried and not melting into a pile of meat goo like at some places. Ok. Food - check. We got a table and came back to the food line. This place charges by size-of-bowl (I've seen some charge by weight or be AYCE) and you can tell the regulars because they KNOW how to fill a bowl. If your bowl is not overflowing to the point of nearly toppling over, you will not get back a full bowl of cooked food. I was only middling hungry so my mid-sized bowl merely heaped. I especially liked the sauce bar. Quite an extensive selection of sauces, with all the usual things plus some extras. I can imagine as a regular you could have a really good time exploring different combinations. Alas, not for me as it's unlikely we'll find our way out here again anytime soon. The food was good. The service was good. If the eating-in-a-bathroom thing weren't so distracting, I'd be saying four stars.

First of all when you walk in there is always an odd smell. Owners stare at you but never speak to…read moreyou (unless you overfill your bowl) they usually always have a mean look and seem unapproachable. The food is pretty decent, if you know what you're doing. Some foods are fully frozen and are sometimes in ice water as well as the sauces. The food is WAYYYY OVERPRICED for food that is sometimes fresh. The chef usually always seems to step outside for a cigarette after cooking a few bowls and rarely speaks or smiles. The waitress is honestly the only sweet and approachable person there. The place is pretty run down, most of the booths are broken, there are sticky tables and the place does really smell like a bathroom. The bathrooms are pretty disgusting. It makes sense why if you come around noon during lunch it is pretty empty, but hey no wait time! Overall, the flavors are pretty good, these owners just need to work on CUSTOMER SERVICE and with those overpriced meals get some new tables and chairs and hopefully a better attitude.
