Drinks, so many varieties. All self serve.

We hit up Pizza Ranch this evening at 5:00pm on a Saturday. When you walk in there's the really nice display of prices, and deals based on age. Seems weekdays you get a better deal, maybe $9 versus the $16 or something we paid. I honestly think the experience/food would be a 5 star if we had went on a $9 night. Seating: they turnover the seating quickly when people leave so we had TONS of options for seating. Booth and chair/tables. The spacing between the tables was good enough for a wheelchair to get through. Parking: the restaurant shares a lot worth a few other places, so it's rather big. And there's a couple different entrances, so exiting and entering are fairly easy. Cleanliness: This location is very clean, the food area and the seating. That's something the locations we've been to all have in common, they're well taken care of. You can count on it. Food: I remember when we came here before we had some of the non-pizza food. This time we both had chicken and salad bar. Both were good but the pizza is pretty basic. Average. For the price I would rather go to a place with a vast selection. But we did get clean seating, quick food and the service was great.

This place is gross. We had never been to Pizza Ranch before and I can confirm we never need to go back. The floors were absolutely filthy; empty tables with plates piled upon them; half empty salad bar; completely empty dessert bar. I don't understand why this place was so busy. It was awful.

The food was not great. Crust mashed potatoes. Pizza not fresh. For the price, definitely not worth it. Took expensive for mediocre food.

It says the closing time is 9pm. But it was closed at 8pm and they were sweeping/cleaning when people are still inside. Too bad service.

The neighborhood is nice and Sake Sushi is located in a small plaza, however I almost missed it since it is located on the side of the plaza and was not visible from the street. Inside I found an interesting mix of decor, it seems like a traditional Asian restaurant with white linen tableclothes and also some very modern touches including neon strip lighting along the ceiling and a variety of light fixtures. Overall a bit of a mishmash that would be better if they picked one style and stayed with it. I got there in the late afternoon so the place was empty at first, I was seated and given the menu which allows you to fill out what you want. The menu is fairly similar to other AYCE sushi places I have been at. Of note is that at dinner you can order up to 15 pieces of sashimi without an extra charge. I ordered a nice selection of sashimi, some sushi, a couple of different maki rolls, the salmon skin salad and the seafood soup. Interestingly the sashimi and sushi came out first, then the maki rolls, then the soup and salad. The sashimi was very good, fresh with nice sized pieces; the nigiri sushi had a nice portion of seafood to rice. I was a bit disappointed with the seafood soup, just a bit under seasoned and too much bean sprouts. The salmon skin salad was excellent with nicely roasted smoked salmon skin mixed with a bit of eel sauce, delicious, crunchy and one of my favorites that you don't see everywhere. I also enjoyed the scallops sashimi, large fresh raw scallops with a nice delicate flavor and texture. The maki rolls were good as well, nicely sized with plenty of filling. I did really enjoy the Super Lobster Roll with shrimp tempura, cucumbers, avocado then topped with lobster salad; the lobster salad was a nice treat, although I think it was made with lagostino lobsters it was still tasty. I also liked their version of spider roll, the soft shell crab was crispy and flavorful. I enjoyed my meal at Sake Sushi, dinner was $30 for all you can eat. The sushi and sashimi were very good, of course not quite the same quality as the best sushi bars but pretty close. Service was good and there are plenty of choices, including noodle dishes, fried rice, hibachi and tempura. The decor is a bit of a miss, but nothing that will keep you from enjoying your meal. Well worth a try if you are hungry and feel like some sushi and Japanese food.

The place had a decent lunch crowd, but was by no means packed, so we figured it would be quick to get food for the kids. Our waitress came to get our drink order pretty quick, but then service slowed for receiving our drinks, ordering food, getting our food, and getting her attention for a to-go box and our bill. As for the food, we ordered the Bangor, which had shrimp and haddock and choice of two sides where we chose the corn muffins and beans. We also got the Nashville hot chicken sliders with sweet potato fries, kids chicken tenders, and kids burger with fries. The kids meals were both quite generous portions, especially the chicken tenders. The tenders were nice and juicy with a crisp exterior and one of the best things ordered. The kids burger was overly charred and had a little burnt taste, so the child wouldn't eat it and ended up eating the shrimp from the other meal instead. The Nashville hot sliders were decent sandwiches and quite large, but were by no means Nashville hot, more like somewhere between mild to medium spice. The sweet potato fries were great though and went well with their bbq sauces. The fish and shrimp received mixed reviews from the two people that ordered it. The corn muffins were definitely something that we would get again and also worked great with the bbq sauces. Overall, it was fine with some good and some not so good. The price is a little higher than some restaurants with similar offerings, but the portions are quite large, so maybe that's the tradeoff. Not sure if this is going to get added to our rotation, but they did seem to have some good happy hour deals, so maybe for that.

We were seated 40 minutes after our reservation time. Explanations for the wait were: our table wasn't ready yet, they needed to clear off a table, earlier tables lingered longer than expected, it was table change over time, they needed two more minutes. Interestingly, we walked past at least three empty, freshly set tables as we were seated that would have accommodated our party. Our table was not fully set when we sat down. The food was mediocre. Prime rib was tough, ham was tasteless, mashed potatoes were good, mac and cheese was okay, salad bar was basic, dessert was okay. Not worth $40 per person. Service was acceptable given the buffet dinner. Appropriate cash tip was left. We have had far better experiences at the Maple Tree in the past. This is why we chose to make reservations for Easter dinner. We were offered no discount or compensation for our trouble. Very disappointed.
