Serving people old food because someone in the back was too lazy. health department is desperately needed, not company inspectors. I talked with some of the workers who are disabled and they are getting bullied by their bosses. Telling a disabled person to do something that's past their limits or capabilities or claiming they are faking their disability. I try the sun Prairie location. Robert Figueroa, some kind of magician, has no issues opening a gas powered wallet torch right next to the buffet, leaving harsh fumes lingering around the food. He obviously doesn't know what he's doing. Both locations paint is peeling everywhere, carpet has disgusting stains, plates and silverware have stains, chairs and tables are never fully clean, no funzone, buffet is always empty or old and they're charging almost 20$ per person to eat. Kids over the age of 12 are full priced. The treachery here is CRAZY. Enforcements need to be called. read more

I ate at this shithole two days ago for dinner. By 3 AM the food poisoning began to set in. I vomited violently for the next 6 hours. I know exactly what it was. These dumb fucks made a pizza that looks like it is just sausage and peppers. I took a slice and realized it has whipped cream as a base. Real smart when you're operating a fucking buffet and leaving the food out under a heat lamp. It occurred to me a pioneer wagon is the perfect logo for this restaurant. They maintain the same health and safety standards as a chuck wagon on the Oregon Trail. In addition to the pizza being terrible it also has diphtheria spread all over it. We hit up Pizza Ranch this evening at 5:00pm on a Saturday. When you walk in there's the really nice display of prices, and deals based on age. Seems weekdays you get a better deal, maybe $9 versus the $16 or something we paid. I honestly think the experience/food would be a 5 star if we had went on a $9 night. Seating: they turnover the seating quickly when people leave so we had TONS of options for seating. Booth and chair/tables. The spacing between the tables was good enough for a wheelchair to get through. Parking: the restaurant shares a lot worth a few other places, so it's rather big. And there's a couple different entrances, so exiting and entering are fairly easy. Cleanliness: This location is very clean, the food area and the seating. That's something the locations we've been to all have in common, they're well taken care of. You can count on it. Food: I remember when we came here before we had some of the non-pizza food. This time we both had chicken and salad bar. Both were good but the pizza is pretty basic. Average. For the price I would rather go to a place with a vast selection. Pizza ranch is a fun experience! The walls are painted with picturesque murals of the Old West. There are many options to choose from at the pizza and salad bar as well as fried chicken, mashed potatoes and a soft serve machine for good measure. When my family out voted me (I wanted Gotham Bagels), I expected to look around, decide there was nothing I wanted to eat, and then to watch them eat. Boy was I wrong! There was Veggie Pizza, decent veggie pizza! There was a salad bar with a salad containing fresh strawberries, walnuts, and blue cheese, and there was surprisingly good fried chicken. Opening Day! I've been driving past and waiting for this to open and today is the day. And it's been going great. Walked in the door to find it's more spacious than any other PRanch I've been to. Welcomed at the door by someone from the corporate office. Friendly staff everywhere. Food was hot and ready. And most importantly, excellent. Pizza crust was perfect. Chicken was perfect. Only recommendation: get those dessert pizzas out early! I like to eat dessert first. Just to make sure there's room. Can't wait to be a regular here. Way to go guys! Keep it up! The first time I went to a Pizza Ranch was last fall while traveling through Iowa. I was pretty excited to hear one opened in Verona, so we took the kids last night. It's an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet, with a salad bar and a fried chicken bar. The pizza is decent (though nothing spectacular). They have many different varieties, and when you come in you can request any type of pizza you want for them to put on the buffet. I personally enjoyed their bacon cheeseburger pizza, complete with pickles. The salad bar has your typical offerings. The fried chicken looked good, though I did not partake. Dessert pizzas were, naturally, my favorite. They had cherry, apple, blueberry, and peach varieties along with vanilla soft serve ice cream if you felt so inclined. Price was just over $11 per adult (includes a fountain soda). Our 1-year-old cost 85 cents - which in and of itself was a good deal. This place certainly isn't fine dining - it's a buffet, people. However, I thought it was a great family atmosphere and an easy place to take our toddler. Staff was very friendly. Great family restaurant. read more

I went in with my husband during a mask mandate and the other maybe 6 other tables all wore their masks when they would get up from their table. about 10 min.'s after we were in 2 big buses came in and 95% of them did not have maks on, were having prey circles around the buffet tables and I mean 0 food on them.
