I have taken my wife and two kids to this restaurant at least four times in the last two months. We are very impressed. As we left tonight, I told my wife that this is easily my favorite restaurant. The service is consistently excellent and pleasant; I assume that the owners/managers treat the staff well and train them well because they all seem to be happy and all have done a great job (we had a different waitress each time, even). They seem to enjoy working there. The food is amazing, I've had the pizza and the calzone and both are great. My wife and kids have had pasta dishes and they loved it. The value for the money you spend is very good. The kids love the window where you can watch the kitchen staff make pizzas. They even give the kids a little pizza dough to play with! Of all the restaurants I could go to in the Houston area, this is my favorite. read more

The food is great but masks don't seem to be required, multiple staff hanging around the cash register at the entrance including management looking types incorrectly wearing masks and allowing a 4 top to remain for at least 30 minutes after completing their meal (already had their to go boxes when we arrived) talking and getting more animated by the minute (all maskless) then continuing to seat new maskless arrivals. This does not make anyone feel safe. I love to support local businesses but will not be back until safety improves. read more

Omg there pizza is amazing. There service is great and so is there food. If you question how it's made in the back there's a window where you can watch it being made. You can also order in and pick up. There desserts are great as well. Not just the pizza is great but so is the other foods on the menu. read more

They're lucky the pizza is good otherwise they'd have no customers. The service has been very bad since going there 15 years ago with my grandfather. They never care about anything, always getting people rolling their eyes if I have to ask for something. They almost always screw up our simple order and have NEVER apologized for the mess up, just once again roll their eyes while they go fix it. read more

The atmosphere was great. Nicely decorated. It was clean. We have lived in a RV for 6 years. Traveled all over the US, ate at many pizza places. The food was one of the worst. This is the best place to get real New York style pizza. We have lived out here for 12 years and have been to every pizza restaurant in the area. Pizza Shack is by far the best. Great service, good family atmosphere and the cheese cake was good too. We had fried mushrooms for an appetizer, delicious as well. We highly recommend this restaurant!!! read more

Pizza shack in Willis is basically a landmark. Used for everything from directions ( oh it's down the road from pizza shack) to family gatherings. Food is always great service is even better! read more

My husband and I were so excited to find a old fashioned pizza place other than a chain. We ordered a pizza tonight and we're extremely disappointed in the way our pizza turned out. We agree spending a little more to eat an authentic style pizza yet when my husband picked it up half our toppings were on one side and the pizza was dripping with grease. Looks as though the cooks have NO PRIDE in the food they are preparing. This is our 4th time being there and never had a problem. We will give it one more chance but if it happens again. Upon my first visit I was so impressed! Delicious pizza and the cupcakes wow!! Since the first visit I have been about 5 or 6 more times, and the consistency is lacking. I'm not sure if there are just different chefs but sheesh you will never get the same quality twice. The food went from great to subpar, which is disappointing considering the prices! The first cupcake I tried was the weddings bells and I was hooked but what I have noticed is that the freshness varies and sometimes they taste stale and at $6 bucks a pop they should be perfect Every time! The pizza quality is lacking as well, my last spinach and garlic pizza tasted like it was from a cici's but $10 higher...sad BC a few weeks ago I ordered the spinach and garlic and it was perfect. I won't be back too expensive for the inconsistency. read more

Love to come to this place!! Typically our go-to on Wednesday's as they have their buffet. Buffet comes with salad, pizza, a drink, and a choice of pasta. Great food and great price. I've never been here and had bad service, always attentive and willing to help. Their staff is friendly and makes you feel at home and welcome. Other than buffet nights their dinners are very good as well. The chicken parm, fettucini alfredo, and beef ravioli have never been a let down. Though when reheating the alfredo I've noticed that it tends to separate so if leftovers are in your future then I would stay away from that. All entrees come with a salad as well which is really nice. I've never had any of their dessert here but at their front check out counter they have a display case of cupcakes to choose from. I'd always recommend this place and will continue to frequent it. Definitely a must go to in Willis. read more

Best Italian around! Wednesday is buffet day and it's the best pizza buffet we have ever personally had! For 8 bucks you can fill up on pizza, salad bar, and that includes your drink! Try the calzone if you don't go on a Wednesday its superb! We've actually been to the Montgomery location as well but prefer this location. Atmosphere, service, and food seem to be better. Absolutely amazing pizza! Also, the Special Garlic Bread is delicious. I wasn't expecting bread to be so buttery. It will melt in your mouth. Old country feel with real Italian taste pizza. Pulled from the mix of those two the pulled pork pizza was Stellar. Don't expect high end plasma TVs but a close home feel here. Worth a stop by! Even with a party of 13 the service was perfect and served with a smile. read more

The Pizza Shack is a fantastic hidden gem, in the heart of Willis. Not only is the Pizza the best in Montgomery County, the menu includes a wide variety of tasty fare! From Salads to Pasta and Deli-style sandwiches...there is surely something here for everyone. My family regularly visits and we've got everyone from a strict-carnivore to a picky vegetarian in the group. Just an aside...it does get crowded here, on the weekends. The service was really bad. Went for the buffet on Wednesday. Nothing was impressive to us. Cicis pizza is better. I liked the powder sugar dessert things. Yum Yum Yum! I love the pizza here! You can order one of theirs or make your own! There is also plenty of other items on the menu like salads, appetizers, and pasta to choose from. Last time I was there I got a personal pan pizza with mushrooms and tomatoes. It was perfect! I had a few pieces and was full, so took the rest home for a snack the next day. The wait staff are friendly enough and the atmosphere is laid back. I will diffidently be back! read more
