Best pizza I've had in a long time...Small little pizza place I found on yelp when I was visiting New York glad I took a chance it was a short walk yet long because it's was January and freezing. They had the pizza in a window type display at the register I don't eat pepperoni so I just chose a cheese the employee placed it in the oven while I just grabbed a seat at the bar type seating area.. let me just say while it was only a cheese slice it was delicious and I ordered a second before I finished the first... Paired with a ginger ale perfect lil slice of pizza

Gave this place a second chance. This time I ordered a peperoni pizza with ricotta cheese. Pizza was ready quickly, correct, and yummy. Still a bit expensive for what you get, but that's true of most pizza places in the area nowadays.

I'm updating my review mainly based on customer service. The pizza spot owner called to offer me a retake on the food I ordered since I wasn't completely happy with it. That's really above & beyond. You don't get service like that these days. I ordered a ricotta calzone and meatball parm hero - which were OK. I just wish the calzone was cooked a little longer and the hero bread was crunchier. These are totally my preferences and they were willing to do that for me. read more

On vacation with my family for a week. Originally from LA. As soon as we landed, we wanted to try a real AUTHENTIC New York slice. And HOLY SMOKES, did not disappoint. Little hole in the wall. Not busy at all. Hot, fresh, and oh so FREAKING GOOD. They have calzones, sandwiches, and slices in both deep dish and regular. I got the pepperoni and buffalo chicken. Also super great price. $20 for three slices and 2 drinks. Highly recommend, especially if you're staying in the Hell's kitchen part of New York. Great service. This has been the most infuriating experience I have ever had with a pizza place. I ordered online from their website, and the delivery never came. When I spoke to the lobby of my building, they told me that the driver came and left with the pizza without any attempt to contact me. I called Slice to see what happened, and they told me the store wasn't answering the phone (they must know that number because I called the store myself after, and they responded immediately). I was then met with a guilt trip about it costing the store to send another pizza. Excuse me; it cost me $35 not to get a pizza! Anyway, after his guilt trip, he mentioned they would be sending another pizza. Another 45 minutes go by, and I get a call from the store asking me to call for an Uber to pick up the pizza, as If I should be spending more money for now, waiting over two hours for my family's dinner. He then said okay, we're going to send it, but if I could wait by the lobby for it, I said no problem, and he's gonna text me when to go down. THE PIZZA NEVER COMES AGAIN. But wait, it gets worse, Slice calls them the next morning for their side of customer support, and they LIE and say the pizza was redelivered. It was the absolute worst experience. Out of principle, I'm never supporting them and hoping no one else ever has to deal with these lying crooks either. read more

Whoa! I have never had a slice of pizza like this in MY LIFE! This might be the best pizza place in all of Manhattan. Not to mention, you can sit and enjoy a slice which is so nice since other pizza shops don't offer a place to sit. The service was phenomenal. I think the eggs are cooked with cheese, and as someone who typically does not eat cheese, I didn't mind it. I don't know if I'll be back again - I think the concept of an asian twist on the classic diner does sound intriguing but difficult to execute. I also wasn't a big fan of the wait time. If you typically like heavier, diner food then this spot might be the place for you!

When the dish came, it was SMOTHERED in fresh mozzarella a quarter of an inch deep. The steakballs were so tender, almost melt in your mouth.
