Small pizza chain in the city. Tasty pizza slice which I've had here a few times over the years. Get the lunch special which offers free bottle of water or soda with two slices or a hero. Has some seating inside and on the sidewalk. Clean place and friendly service.

Friendly service, clean restaurants . Pizza was just okay tasting. The sauce was very sweet - like ketchup flavor more than pizza sauce. A good variety of pies to choose from but wouldn't crave this pizza . Tables ans chairs to accommodate 8-10 people. A few options for bottled drinks.

Good, crispy, well baked crust with lots of cornmeal/semolina to add some extra crunch factor.

Decent all-around pizza. The crust was nice. Had quite a bit of cornmeal (or semolina) that gave it some extra crunch. The sauce and cheese was just super blah. Almost tasted like grocery store jar sauce. Still, not a bad slice all-in-all.

Solid midtown east pizza spot! A little pricey. A vodka mushroom slice was $6 but it tasted fantastic! Really fresh and crispy new york style slice. Service - quick, the guy was running around behind the counter making it all happen

Wanted a snack before hopping on the Roosevelt tramway and this was the nearest quick slice pizza spot. The pizza here is just okay. Not the best, not the worst. Good if you're in a pinch and want a quick slice. Lots of different slices to choose from which can be a little overwhelming. The service is great and decent amount of seating options inside.

A good slice in NYC. I really loved the penne alla vodka slice! I would defintely come back as the staff was nice and service was quick!! They had a ton of different options including non pizza foods like pasta dishes.

Solid pizza in Midtown East. Came for a quick bite around 9 pm and there was still a great selection of pizzas. Service was quick in this casual pizza joint. We sat inside and enjoyed our food. My garlic knot was soft warm garlicky and chewy. Our two slices, margarita and pepperoni with ricotta were fresh and crispy.

Quality cheese slice and for a great price! The crust was really nice and the marinara had a lot of flavors. They have a ton of seating inside as well as standing tables. There was a short line but it went fast and the slice was heated up quickly. I would come back again!

Solid pizza spot in Midtown East! The crust had a cornmeal dust to it, which made it nice and crispy. Their vodka slice is my new favorite!

Lavista's Pizza was absolutely delicious. I stopped by around 11 pm. The store was fully open, presenting a lively welcoming environment. The food was so good and the portions were supersized in comparison to their prices. The service was amazing, and we were given so many amenities; seating, utensils, tupperware, and most of all a friendly staff. Thanks Lavistas, I highly recommend!

    Margarita Slice and Rainbow Pizza
    Justin T.

Stopped by on Wednesday evening around 830p, lots of seating; had a margarita slice, rainbow slice, and a can of Sprite Zero. They're doing a grand opening promotion where it's $6 for 2 cheese slices and a can of soda; or $10 for 2 specialty slices. This would not be your favorite spot if you like pizza to be more pillowy doughy, but definitely will hit the spot if you like it on the thin and crunchy side. Pizza was nice and crispy. Cornmeal dusted crust makes it nice and crispy. The rainbow slice looked pretty but honestly just tasted like a regular marinara and cheese slice- couldn't taste the pesto at all, which is quite a statement since pesto is a strong flavor. The margarita slice was the perfect cheese, sauce, dough ratio. Excellent service. Great addition to the neighborhood.

Get the 2 slice with soda special. They are super nice, it's fast and clean. Pasta and salads too.

    Greasy Salty Drooping Margarita Slice
    Kern C.

The pizza tasted better because I was hungry . In reality it just barely gets a passing grade . The margherita was especially disappointing as I rendered it inedible with all its saltiness . The sauce couldn't save it nor could the ton of oil that was making it droop while it was held . Fortunately I bought a second slice which was better . The veggie slice fortunately didn't have those problems but the addition of feta cheese didn't bode well with me . I also kinda didn't care for the crust of the pizza . I'm not sure what flour they use but it's not the typical crust I've come to expect from a NY slice . This crust is more gritty , crunchy , thicker and drier . I for one am not a fan especially when the prices are just about on par with some other nearby gems .

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. I'd love to see more restaurants creatively use these kinds of spaces in the future.

To start with the good: the arancini were perfectly passable, and the Sicilian pie was enjoyed by all. I would describe it as more of a Detroit style actually, with a super crispy crust and nice textural contrast. On the other hand, we did not enjoy the seasonal vegetable pie or the nepo pie. I generally really like this sort of no-cheese, umami-heavy pizza, but the nepo was so salty! I'm not sure what specific ingredient was missing, but missing it was. My hopes for a recreation of the rossa pie I enjoyed at Farina prior to their closure were dashed. As for the vegetable pie, the vegetables tasted like the frozen veggies one might find in what was once marketed as a "TV dinner". It was a shame, since the sauce of the white pie was otherwise pretty good.

RIGHT BY THE DOOR. Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
