Been wanting to try an Indian-style pizza place for a while now and thought I'd try this nearby place. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. The restaurant was empty and the service was horrible. Not even a simple greeting when I entered. Very awkward ambiance. They just gave me the pizza box with a straight face. But that wasn't the worst part. $15+ for a "pizza" that was TINY. False advertising. I thought I could share this pizza with my fiancé and a friend but it was barely even a personal pizza. Super frustrating and false advertising. I asked for a certain spice level and I could tell all they did was shake on some red pepper flakes. But at least the taste of the pizza wasn't terrible. But I definitely won't be going there again. Amazing food! I've been ruined after eating their pizzas. It's our go to and they always make it worth the drive. We order the halal pepperoni and it delicious- I've tried other places and they are never as good as this Pizza Twist location. The Achari chicken is great, onions, chicken, spice, and a hint of ginger a beautiful combo of sweet, tangy and spicy! We order extra and enjoy it again for breakfast after a minute or two in the air fryer. The owner is wonderful - he's calm and friendly. Always feel welcome. It's a pizza joint without any fuss. It was very nice snd clean, no wait time (but with construction 2 blocks away that's somewhat understandable) and a very nice seating area for us to wait in. Taj either the owner/ manager created us and told us about the dishes we got while we waited and was very sweet! In fact when we left and I was blocked in by a delivery truck he moved Judy car and helped direct us out. Not only was the food made fresh it was delicious! I got butter chicken (I was scared at first tbh) but it was so delicious, my coworker who got the #2 best rated spicy chicken something and loved ittt , and my other coworker had just a regular pepperoni and again- delish. For my youngest daughter's birthday she chose Pizza Twist as she'd Door Dashed it in the past and loved it. This was our first time eating here in person and we chose the Roosevelt location after reading and comparing the Yelp reviews with the Redmond location. This is a great place to try for a "twist" on the regular pizza choices everywhere else (ha ha). We were greeted by and interacted throughout our stay with the super nice owner. He has a great memory of faces and names, is very friendly and a real peace about him. The owner checked up often on us and. My wife and I shared a Butter Chicken Pizzatwist and our dining companions each had a small or medium sized build your own pizza with one of them ordering the Bombay Garlic Chicken Pizzatwist. We really enjoyed our meals with the Butter Chicken pizza being my favorite with the unique juxtaposition of Indian and Italian-American flavors in each bite. The pizzas are filling and we brought home plenty of leftovers for another day. At the end of our meal, the owner brought out a free chocolate chip dinner plate sized cookie to share for our daughter's birthday. It was unexpected and a nice touch. I love supporting these small business owners (even as this is a franchise, it's still owned by the gentleman who helped us). These owners put their heart and soul into their business and it shows. A neighbor recommended Pizza Twist to us, so we decided to try it one night when we were craving pizza. We were welcomed warmly by Tej and provided great service. I LOVE Indian food, especially how friendly it is for vegetarians, so I had to try an Indian specialty instead of a standard flavor. I ordered the Tikka Masala Paneer pizza with medium spice, and my partner ordered regular pepperoni. My pizza was so fresh and the paneer + cilantro was such a fun combo. Spice level was a true medium. If you're sensitive, maybe go a bit lower but I like spice so it was good for me. We decided to try the Mediterranean Combo pizza on a Chicago pan-style crust--and wow, it did not disappoint. It was absolutely mouthwatering! Dropped in late Sunday night to grab food instead of settling for cheap terrible fast food, pizza twist did not disappoint! PROS: - 3 locations open late, online order was a breeze - Prompt, professional and friendly service, food was ready in minutes - love their menu: wide variety of generous toppings, gluten free, vegetarian friendly, many mix and match options including sauces, different types of dough and thickness, spice level was good - price is fair for the amount CONS: - the original dough is not of pizza consistency, typical to an Indian pizza it was more like a thick naan than a pizza. They don't let their dough rest before using it which makes it taste and cook like a naan dough. We plan to get the thin crust next time and get something other than butter chicken (was just okay). NOTE: This review is *mostly* for VEGAN food ordered for takeout! Wanted to see if I could find a good vegan pizza from a new place (I've had a bit too much of pagliacci and pizza pi was too far at the time), so we ordered the plant-based bread sticks and one of the plant-based pizzas, forget which one, for delivery. Both were barely edible and made me nauseous, I have no idea what vegan cheese they use but it was quite gummy and tasted a bit like plastic. Nothing else about the items flavor-wise was redeeming for the cheese situation. I only note for any vegans who are considering ordering from here since I know how hard it is to find decent plant-based pizza! The dairy cheese pizza we got was bland and also had an awful consistency/mouthfeel, but not quite as bad as the vegan items. I hope--for posterity of my fellows--they're able to improve their plant-based pies, but I will not take the risk again. As for the carnivores and vegetarians? The taste was very authentic and not heavy on the stomach. I could eat most of it and still feel good. The spice level is adjuable and I love that. They adjust it specifically to green chilli instead of red chilli flakes. We had the garlic twist white sauce, achari paneer and the chicken as well. I found this place on Yelp and was very excited due to the large amount of unique vegan and vegetarian pizzas! This restaurant has tons of Indian inspired pizzas, ranging in spice level and toppings. You can also make your own custom pizza. I ordered the vegan plant based chicken tikka masala pizza, with medium spice and all the toppings (dairy free cheese, bell peppers, red onion, mushrooms, cilantro, vegan chicken pieces). I got the medium size, which was $20, so I could have leftovers. The pizza was good, I loved the cheese used, but the vegan chicken was a little dry. Overall, it was a unique flavor experience and I want to go back and try other options. My friends got the mediterranean combination pizza, with chicken and lamb, and a cheese pizza. They liked theirs too. The restaurant is very large inside, with comfy booths, fun music, and room for lots of customers. The pizzas came out in 15 minutes with quick service. They have a parking lot with lots of spots available. They also offer gluten free, halal, and many other dietary friendly options which was great. The main reason for the 5 star review was the staff. We met the owner, who was very excited to have us and said business has been slow. He said he's been working long hours, and waiting for more customers. He brought us over free complimentary sauces for our pizza, like a vegan ranch, spicy garlic ranch, and marinara sauce. We were the only people there, and he was very attentive and grateful. The Worst Service. Was so happy that one of their locations opened up near us. Placed an order on their website like always when we came to pick up. We got to know that they have just opened their location. When I went inside, the guy is telling me, we are not receiving any online orders & if you do place one right now it will take an hour, I ain't waiting that long. I asked him to cancel the order (for which I already paid),he's asking me to cancel it in the app, where I do not see even an option for it. Dude, you being a person of color yourself, is behaving such rudely and more interested in helping the others. What a shame! So the result is that I have to go again to this pathetic location tomorrow to get my money back, cause apparently they are of no help today. I do understand the new opening and all. I ordered the small Butter (Shahi) Pizza Twist. To say we were shocked is putting it mildly. This pizza knocked out socks off. It was so good. We got it at a mild spice level which was a good level for us. It was packed full of flavor! The crust on both was so good. It was perfectly cooked, with the right amount for crunch and chew to it. The service was great and the gentleman working was friendly and communicative on timing, explaining that the Butter Pizza would take longer than the Cheeaeburger, which we were fine with, as we were planning to share both. The Pizza Twist on Roosevelt is fairly new, but the chain's been around for a while (I've had their fare in other towns). A small group of us were going to be hanging at a pub nearby, so they picked up a big pie, half-paneer and half-chicken, and brought it with them to the pub. It was good but not excellent--I think Can Am is better for Indian-style pizzas--but still something I'm sure I'll have again. read more

This place is freaking AMAZING!!! I had it last night for the first time and I was genuinely blown away. If you're a pizza lover in the area, then you absolutely have to try this spot out. Genuinely fantastic food, cool restaurant interior, and a very nice owner/manager! Finding good vegan pizza can be pretty tough, but Pizza Twist has a bunch of plant-based options that I honestly think anyone would love. I went with a friend of mine who is not vegan and is usually a little hesitant to try vegan foods, but he said it was without a doubt the best vegan pizza he'd ever had (and we lived together for years, so he's tried plenty). Specifically, we had the BBQ Chicken pizza (plant-based version) and everything about it was fantastic. The flavor, texture, quality of ingredients, etc. I also realized after we left that they have plant-based cheesy bread, so I will absolutely be trying that next time. I loved it, my non-vegan friend loved it, and I'm sure anybody I recommend it to will love it too. I will 10000% be going back! PIZZA LOVERS: We gotta support local business like this so they don't go out of business. Not only are they providing a great product, but they're doing something genuinely different - which I appreciate so much. They have all sorts of pizza inspired by Indian cuisine, which I've never seen before. They also have a whole separate menu of traditional pizzas for when you aren't feeling as adventurous!
