Sam's is in a small plaza set back from the street. Inside you find a nice casual pizza place, as you come in you have the pizza kitchen with the large wood fired pizza oven. You can order slices or whole pies, they also have salads, wings and a couple of sandwiches. We ordered a large mushroom pizza and grabbed a table by the small bar area. The bar has beer and wine, they offer a very nice selection of local brews. After settling in the pizza showed up quickly. Sam's pizzas are thin crust, nicely cheesy and have a good basic tomato sauce. The pizza are very good with a nice balance between the yeasty crust, the pungent cheese and the slightly sweet sauce. The mushrooms were a nice touch to add some extra umami to the pie. The pizza was well cooked, although I would usually like it a bit more well done. On the table is garlic powder, hot pepper, oregano, grated cheese and even some hot honey, so you can modify your pizza to your taste. The large pie made a nice dinner split between the two of us, we each got 4 good sized slices. Sam's is a great casual pizza joint, the atmosphere is relaxed, service is quick and we even had some very good live music to compliment our meal. If you are looking to get some good pizza and some beers you can't go wrong by heading to Sam's Wood Fire Pizza.

I thought that was overpriced, especially after we recieved our food an hour later (no joke)! The pizza is mediocre and the service horrible. I cannot eat gluten and ordered a cauliflower crust. Apparently, they prepared both our pizzas with traditional crusts, so they had to remake mine. After waiting 45 minutes for the pizzas, I finally got up to ask when we were getting our food. They told me the mistake, but only because I approached them. We literally waited an hour for pizza that I wouldn't wait any time for given its quality. The sauce was not good, my toppings were basially raw vegetables on top of the pizza and the cheese just ok. As for service no one told us about the delay and no one tried to make it right by offering to refund of our money, offering us a drink, anything!!! Not a single thing including a sincere apology. The restaurant was freezing. So we sat there for an hour very uncomfortable with our feet freezing as we wore our jackets to keep warm. They bathroom was not clean. Avoid this place for sure. TERRIBLE service, TERRIBLE ambiance and mediocre food.

The cheese blend on the extra‑cheese pizza was especially tasty, and a custom veggie pie (broccoli, greens pepper, mushrooms) had probably the most thin, uniform distribution of toppings we've ever seen. Literally every bite had small cut, perfectly cooked vegetables in it. The crust might have been our favorite part -- that ideal mix of soft and thin, with great texture and flavor. We know pizza reviews can sometimes get a rough rap, especially when people compare everything to NYC or New Haven styles. We're very familiar with those and love them. This isn't that -- and it doesn't need to be. This is simply wonderful pizza, the kind you look forward to having again. We really enjoyed the whole experience and will absolutely return on future visits to Manchester Center.

This brewery is perched on the side of a mountain with one of the best views of the valley below. For a travel day during the winter travel season it was busy but not overly full. The place is cash only which is posted and they have an atm in the front room for ease. The mountain rustic decor matches the place and area. There was counter service for food and drinks. They had both canned cocktails, wine and locally made beers to sample. The beer selection is great if you like IPA's. We ordered two pizzas and both came out quickly from their in room wood fired oven and were absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a stop if you're traveling near by or during leaf peeping season

Firstly I will say they did have a sign saying cash only, but do have an ATM for those without any. It is also a place you sit yourself and then order at the bar. It is located at an absolutely beautiful scenic view and they do have some outside seating so you can have a brew and pizza with a nice view! Beer wise I enjoyed their All Day Drinker and it was a light and crushable brew with more malt than hops shining through. My wife got their lemon drop sour which was refreshing with a hint of tartness. They also had a cider as well as some IPAs and non-alcoholic options too. Pizza wise they had a good variety of options including some not so traditional choices. The prices ranged from cheese being $20 and going up to $25 for the most. Those not interested in pizza are out of luck unless the one salad sounds good to them though I will say. Since we had 6 people in our group we ended up choosing 4 different pizzas. Our selections were Meatiator (think meat lovers), Potato Pie (mashed potatoes, bacon, sour cream, etc), Honey Apple Pie (honey, apple slices, cheeses, bacon, ricotta, basil), and lastly Okie Dokie Artichoke (garlic oil, lemon marinated artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, sausage, cheese, and red pepper flakes). It gave us a really good variety and like I said above our whole party enjoyed the pizzas. Had a great cook to it, with lots of toppings that packed in lots of flavor. The Okie Dokie may have been the crowd favorite while the Honey Apple Pie was the most surprising flavor. Leaned towards sweet with the honey and apples but wasn't quite dessert pizza. Great spot to come for a pizza and beer/drink while also taking in the nearby view!

Yeah I know, silly us. Well we found it and are so glad we did! We got the pizza by the slice and it was heated up to perfect crispiness and delicious! While we were there we heard the bartender scold a male customer stating, "First you say I talk to much and now you say I don't talk enough, make up your f**ing mind." She sounded completely upset and put us on high alert. Everything calmed down after that, but it was a strange first visit and makes me not want to sit at the bar. I read after the fact on Yelp a review talking about a female bartender being very rude, wonder if it is the same person. Another thing that was off-putting was it smelled like someone was burning a scented candle or the plug in air fresheners. Yuck! Will give it another go for sure, fingers crossed.
