I think it's about time to make your fountain drink machine customer facing. Just stood at the counter for 10 minutes watching an employee fill 3 parties worth of drinks before even acknowledging me to pick up an online order. With 3 doordashers next to me, and 2 customers all waiting for their orders, I don't think you can afford to pay someone to fill drinks when you're this behind. Pizza was 25 minutes past ETA ready. **Update- got home and one of my pizza boxes was completely empty. Changing my 3* review to a 1*. Talked to the Manager, she offered to remake both pizzas and granted a refund request. Still more waiting though. read more

This was my first visit to the new Sparks location. I ordered a salad and Buffalo chicken wings. That salad was great, but would have liked Thousand Island dressing. I was disappointed with the wings. They were drenched in the Garlic Sauce and not much of the Buffalo sauce that I have come to expect. Why is it so difficult to get regular Buffalo wings in Reno/Sparks. They had all of the other flavors that did not interest me. Although the reviews I read were quite good, I found the pizza to be mediocre and ordinary. Same with the (Teriyaki) chicken wings. On the pizza, there was little sauce, little cheese, and the green peppers were sliced paper thin and sparse. In other words, like so many pizza places, they skimped on the ingredients. The crust was good. The restaurant itself is plain but comfortable and the patrons there were enjoying themselves. The staff is very nice, the location and parking are both convenient, and the prices are average. All in all, it was not worth the trip for me as pizza places that are closer are comparable. I'm still looking for a pizza that has ample cheese, sauce and spices which would put it a cut above the myriad everyday, average pizza joints in the Sparks/Spanish Springs area. I ordered delivery on Friday night. I'm working from out of town and don't know what's good and what isn't. I looked up some pizza places that were close, and this one really stood out for to me. Checked out the menu, ordered a medium supreme, and had delivery. Price was very reasonable, and the pizza arrived super fast. They gave me peppers and cheese - didn't even have to ask! Pizza was amazing - hot, crispy crust, and the toppings were very well distributed. Will definitely be ordering again and expanding my choose to include salads and more. read more

Was craving pizza during our road trip but didn't want your average fast food pizza. We called in as we wanted a half and half pizza and the option was available online but we saw others posting it was possible. The man on the phone was very kind and took our order. It was ready in the estimated time! The pizza was sooo good. We got the Alfredo pizza and extra pepperoni. The dough was perfectly thick paired with the sauce. We also got buffalo wings and they were very garlicky and delicious. They were different from your traditional buffalo flavor though, but I would definitely get it again! read more

I just ordered online for pick up. We ordered off the specials menu which was a great deal. Pick up was for 11:30. I left with everything fresh out of the oven at 11:30. As soon as I walked through the door the kind lady there greeted me immediately, which made me feel welcomed and appreciated. She was out going with a smile on her face. Good tasting pizza. Sauce cheese crust all great. But the meatball slices on the pizza need help They taste good but on 2 slices they had a tiny hard white aspect that made me think I chipped a tooth when I bit down on it. Maybe a tiny bone piece when the meat was grinded. Not sure. The rest of the pizza very tasty. I will return and nix the meatball parm pizza...and try something else. read more

First time in and wanted to check it out with friends, met up with them they had ordered a few minutes before I got there, didn't take to long for them to get their food, it was just us and one other table of four. I ordered my food separately and had ordered a medium half cheese and half pepperoni with extra sauce..it took well over 20 minutes, at one point someone came in for a pickup order, and one of my friends said " I think they gave your pizza away to them" they either forgot or gave it away?? Eventually they called my name for the order, but then told me it wasn't ready yet and it just went in the oven?? When I finally got my pizza unfortunately it wasn't even made to how I ordered it, barely any sauce on it. Bummer. On a positive note the staff was super friendly. read more

Definitely the spot for late night pizza! It was about 10:30 pm when we walked in. Right when you walk in the smell slaps you in the face nearly making your mouth salivate as your greatest by all workers. We ordered 1 large pizza, a cheesy bread and a medium pepperoni. They stated it would be around 15 minutes and it was precisely that! Let me tell you when they say cheesy bread they aren't messing around. The cheese was not missing on anything. Every piece was cut to perfection, sauces perfectly with a light crunch. The toppings and cheese didn't fall off when you took a bite which is always a plus. Nobody want to just eat sauced bread when your itching for some pizza. They do have menus in front of the register that has coupons in it for both large quantities or just a pizza. The only issue would be that it could have more of a robust flavor in the sauce but still quality. read more

Just solid pizza! The thing I like best about Pizzava is that their pizza travels so well. Some places have good pizza as long as it's eaten in house right out of the oven but as soon as it leaves the building it turns to cardboard. There's a local "coal oven fired" pizza place (hint hint) that is fantastic in house but we've ordered take out or delivery from it and their pizza is more ready for the garbage can than to eaten after only 30 mins. We've commented that Pizzava's crust is still good a couple of days after getting it (Mmmm... cold pizza!) Keep up the great work Pizzava! read more

First time for in-house pizza at Pizzava. On scale of 1(excellent ) to 10 (poor), I think a 3 is generous. Obviously most of their customers are those who request delivery because the on-site accommodations are nothing to brag about + table was dirty and floor was filthy. Next - I believe thata Pizza place should observe the same health standards as a sit-down order from the menu restaurant; that means employees who are clean. I observed an employee who had cut his finger and had a paper napkin wrapped around the cut but he was still handling food. I also observed a delivery driver come right inside after making deliveries and start handling food w/out washing his hands and NONE of these workers were wearing gloves. One worker walked in, clocked in and went direct to the food prep area. An employee wearing dirty street clothes clocked in and went direct to food handling...NONE washed their hands. What I am saying is that this place may make fair to good pizza BUT they are not observing sanitary practices required by the Health Department. I won't be going back because what I see is a complete disregard by owner/management for cleanliness and/or enforcing common sense guidance for food handlers. read more

We tried this new location for the first time yesterday and it was awesome!! The staff was really friendly. I have pizza picky kids and they loved it. We tried a little of everything the wings were crispy and the flavor was awesome we had buffalo. The cinna balls were a perfect treat after we finished. Well they are very proud of their food!! The Garlic Parm bread was tasteless there was no flavor at all and covered with what felt like sand. The Parm cheese is totally tasteless, Kraft in a jar from the store tastes better. The lettuce they use for salad is very bitter, they need a different lettuce, it's really not salad lettuce. The cokes weren't filled to the top. The pizza was good though, but everything was way overpriced. The help was nice, but it was very noisy and there was hardly anyone there customerwise and many tables were dirty while the employees stood around talking to each other. We won't be back, we should have listened to people advising us to go elsewhere. read more
