After hearing how "great" Bacio was I decided to try it out with my family. We decided to order some buffalo wings mozzerella sticks to start. I asked our waitress what kind of oil they fried in since I have peanut/nut allergies. She didn't know the answer but went to find out and upon her return said "no it's just normal oil". I again asked what kind and she did not know. Made me a bit apprehensive but I ate them anyways with no issue. They were both ok, nothing special, marinanra sauce was tasty and the wings had a kick to them. We then ordered 2 pizzas. We asked them if they could make a penne all vodka pie since it was not on the menu. We were accommodated without hesitation, which was nice. We also ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch pie, both Larges. I also ordered a Large garden salad. The salad was big enough for us all and had grilled chicken in it which I did not order. Our penne vodka pizza was brought out first and we were told there was an issue with the order ticket so they had just started to make our second pie. Now, I had with me 4 hungry children and a husband. Half of us who ordered the penne vodka pie started to eat while the rest of them watched and waited in anticipation for their pizza. The vodka sauce pretty much tasted like it was from a jar. I was not impressed whatsoever. I felt like I was eating a marinara with cream in it. No basil, no tomatoes, no authentic "vodka sauce" feel. After about 15 minutes our second pizza came out. There was chicken, there was bacon and there was ranch. Thats it. Hardly any sauce, but it was still tasty. Typical run of the mill pizza. I wanted to be wowed! I had heard so many good things about this place, I was sure that we would have an amazing meal! Did.not.happen..... Once we got the bill, we opened it and saw that we had just spent $97 on a pizza night for the kids. How did this even happen!!?? $97 for 2 pies and 2 apps?? So we asked for an itemized bill and saw that: #1 We were charged for chicken on my salad that I never ordered #2 A garden salad cost me $13.50! #3 We ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and on top of the price of the pie we were charged for.......yes, CHICKEN and BACON. What!!?? #4 Our penne vodka pie was an extra $10.50 on top of the price just to add some penne. #5 2 pizzas cost me almost $50. I felt violated! My husband went to go discuss the bill with our waitress who was very nice by the way and I am assuming it was the owner, who was rather grumpy, stated "hes complaining, take off the chicken from the salad". He then took off the extra $10.50 from the bill after he realized that he was in fact getting one over on us. Never again, will I eat there. Very pricey, mediocre food at best. read more

You guys are the best. We ordered delivery tonight; lg pie, half pepperoni well done, order of fries, 2 regular mini cannolis and a 2 liter ginger ale. Our order arrived 15 earlier than estimated (yay!) and the delivery guy was super nice. The pizza was perfect; hot, saucy but not too saucy, and the cannoli - oh my goodness. We have been dining here numerous times a month for the past year. Our meals have always been excellant, served in a reasonable amount of time, and have plenty of food. The waitstaff has always been friendly, and attentive. This is a small restaurant, and it can get very busy, but we have never had a bad experience when dining here. Prices are very reasonable, and many selections can be altered to meet one's needs. Great food, nice people, good prices...what more can one ask? read more

Overall, somewhere between poor and outright bad. My rating is less than one star. We ordered a large cheese pizza delivered from Pizzeria Bacio Wednesday evening 12/19/18 and it arrived about an hour and a quarter later. It would have been a little better if it had been warm. The taste was FLAT; little or no flavor to the sauce, it tasted like it came right out of a can. Most competitors would have at least added a little seasoning to this plain-tasting tomato sauce. The cheese was unremarkable except that it was cold, stiff and dry. The crust was "OK", its thickness and taste was like most other pizzerias. We were hungry, especially after the long wait, and each managed to choke down a slice of this crummy pie before throwing the other six slices in the garbage. Definitely a waste of fifteen dollars. Don't know where the other reviewers have been eating pizzas but they must have been pretty bad. Bottom line: We won't be going back there for anything, "you live and learn". read more

I always order delivery from here and have never had a problem.however i was really disappointed with todays interaction.i ordered a chicken parm hero with sauce on the side but did not get any sauce also i told the girl on the phone i wanted a large side of parmesan cheese (in a small soup container) i would pay for it i just needed it for my fettuccine Alfredo and soup. she assured me it would be in the order.when the delivery driver came he called me and was very rude telling me to "come out and get my food" as if he had been waiting on me.i still tipped and as he is counting the money i realize that the cheese i asked for was not there so i asked where it was. he raised his voice with me saying "ma'am i don't know call them and ask i just take it and go thats it" i go inside and look everything over and see the sauce is missing too.i call to ask about the missing items and am told i can not have that much cheese the owner doesn't want to sell cheese like that i ask for 3 small sides instead and am told NO i cant have that much cheese.only after i say i want a refund do i get told yes you can have the cheese just this time not again and they will send someone with the sauce and cheese as soon as they can. the same rude delivery driver comes stomping up on my porch bangs on the door rudely sticks his arm out with a white bag not saying a word and turns and walks away. they gave me the tiniest amount of sauce for my huge hero and only one more cheese.i understand its not his fault the items weren't there but he was rude right from the beginning and the girl on the phone shouldn't have told me yes to something that couldn't have been done. what Italian places puts a limit on CHEESE especially for a paying customer who just wants to enjoy their food. i've never had a problem like this with them but i definitely wont be getting delivery from them again anytime soon.i'm sure they'll be happy not have my business anyway.what a headache for everyone involved. read more

I just used Bacio's for a big catering event and it was AMAZING! Everyone at the restaurant was so nice and extremely accommodating. The prices were INCREDIBLE and definitely much better than any other restaurant in the area by far. I ordered the garlic knots, penne alla vodka, meatballs, and eggplant rollatini. They were all a success, and the garlic knots were all gone within 30 minutes because they were such a big hit! Bacios was extremely helpful with dietary needs and offered to make any items on the menu gluten free. Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience. Pizzeria Bacio gave me the best service, prices, food, and made the day-of set up quick and easy. I definitely recommend this to anyone catering any event! read more

This place has done me down hill we went there in the past week and the quality has dropped and the wait staff seems like they are on drugs, we asked for our regular waitress and was told she was no longer there and then we were treated very rudely and were made to feel uncomfortable, and the inappropriate interactions between the girls and the men was inappropriate and down right disgraceful, I give this place 6 morning months and they will be done, sad that a place we once enjoyed has gone down the tubes!!! read more

The owner is insanely rude and made this college student girl cry. He wanted to make a table available for some Italian family that he wants to impress and entertain. He uses cloth napkins for them. Several people that I know have the same impression. OHHHH MYYYYY GOOOOOOD!!!!!!! seriously this pizza is the absolute worst i have ever had in my life!!!! I am 100% sure the mushrooms were straight from a can, pepperoni soggy, crust just bland and sauce, well if you told me the cook forgot the sauce on my pizza i would totally believe you. I honestly think it takes an extra level of indifference to produce such a flavourless pice of food, if you can call what i got at baccio food at all. I ate 1 slice and that's all. Dominos is (and by no motive I am saying dominos is good) infinitely better, compared to baccio dominos is a 4 star restaurant. The table behind us were complaining amongst themselves about the sauce on their chicken parm, that tasted straight out of a can. I am 100% sure that this place survives because of the divine intervention in the form of starving student patronage from the near by colleges. 100% tourist trap, would never try it again, not if i got a whole year of free pizzas. I really can't understand the "fantastic" reviews. It's not worth the money. Stick to the pizza. To sum it up, my chicken parm dinner utilized frozen breaded chicken cutlets and the sauce tasted like chef boyardee--no exaggeration. We mostly get take out/delivery from here. The food is consistent and good, portions are big, usually have left overs. The wait time can often be long, but they usually tell you if they're busy and that they will be longer than usual. I have had sit down dinners here and they were great. read more

Wow!!! We just ate there for the first time, as I didn't even know about this restaurant. EVERYTHING was great. The garlic knots - amazing. The bread with dipping oil - great and hot out of the oven!!!! The pizza - also excellent. Chicken Francaise was so delicious and cooked to perfection. This was 5 star quality food in a little pizzeria!!!!!! Highly recommend as you won't be disappointed with the excellent customer service, delicious Italian food and the prices are reasonable. They are popular b/c it is hard to get a seat sometimes. But they are open really late - like midnight I think so you can always go there for a late dinner!!!! read more

This place is very popular with the college crowd that just comes in from right around the corner. Since these folks are being replaced on a regular cadence the owner probably doesn't feel the need to greet any of his customers. Today I not only saw him standing in the back staring at his customers and staff and observing the scene as he usually does but he was actually ringing me up, which was a first time in the couple of years that I have been going here. Do not expect that he says "thank you" or "good-bye" or anything of that nature when you hand him your money and leave. While the staff has always been very nice it is the disrespect of the person who runs this business that will keep me from returning. So, if lack of common courtesy does not spoil your appetite and you like pizza then you will be very happy here as the pizza is in fact better than at most places in the neighborhood (which I attribute more to the neighborhood than to the place in question but this turns into a whole different story). If you are like me and you think that the owner should set the example and not his staff than this is clearly the wrong place for you. read more
