    bread+olive oil

4 years since I've watched Chef's Table & so many missed chances in LA to try, but it was all worth it to finally try it in AZ. I walked in and sat the bar - first customer of the evening so I didn't wait! I knew it would be awesome because the bread & olive oil served was wonderful on its own. For the pizza, I had a half & half of their signatures: *signature Rosa (parm reg, red onion, pistachios, rosemary) is a stunner. so delicious - this is a white base (no tomato) so all the flavors really stand out. *Sonny boy (tomato, fresh mozz, soppressata, gaeta olives) is like a pepperoni pizza on flavor 'roids. I also love black olives and the gaeta are like super charged in flavor too. Also, the texture is pretty incredible. The crust shatters first - then gives way to this yeasty, chewy interior with just a touch of crispy, bitterness from the wood fire. Addictive as hell. Damn.

A meal at Pizzeria Bianco carries the weight of the name behind it--Chris Bianco--and it shows in the execution. This Town & Country location is welcoming but run with precision; there's a seriousness to the operation that translates directly to the plate. Sitting at the bar, the focaccia sandwich (with anchovies added - not for everyone) lands exactly how you want it to--balanced, intentional, and deeply satisfying. Paired with a glass of Verdicchio, it becomes a simple but dialed-in experience. Side note, Verdicchio roughly translates to "greenish" in Italian, a nod to the grape's subtle green hue and fresh profile. It cuts through the anchovies' elusive fishiness with surgical precision. Service is efficient and no-nonsense, with clear attention to detail. There's an initial edge--the kind that comes with a place that knows its reputation--but it softens quickly if you meet it with patience. Come in grounded, and the interaction becomes far more human. It's not inexpensive, but that's part of the contract here. You're paying for consistency, craft, and a kitchen that takes itself seriously--and delivers.

Of course we will be back again and again and again we love our local pizzeria Cons: I tried to call in to see how busy it was, but there was no option to speak to anyone it was just a phone tree circle with an option to leave a voicemail for a manager. When we arrived, there were a lot of open seats and we asked to sit at a bigger table because we wanted all of our food out at once and they said that they needed to go ask a manager when they came back. They offered us another two top table that was slightly bigger , even though there was plenty of four top tables available. The food came out extremely slow. We wanted it out all at once, but they were literally making courses for us, which is cool and all but like not what we were wanting. I think it's because we were at a smaller table. Pros: Everybody was really nice and friendly The food was delicious as always we loved the salad. The fresh ingredients really came through and shined. The pizza of course was delicious even though by the time we had our pizza come out we had to leave the restaurant. We appreciate the commitment to quality. When we said that we had to go, they took our payment quickly and got our to go boxes ready with a bag, which was really nice of them to do.

Surpassed the hype. Brought my wife here on an anniversary trip. Lauren the bartender was amazing. Everything we ate was out of this world exactly like what you get in Italy. I would give anything to know where and what kind of tomatos they use. Olive oil is amazing and clearly imported from Italy. If I could give this place 6 stars I would.

Excellent pizza and mozzarella. We made reservations on Open Table for a Monday lunch around noon. We got there early, and were seated right away. There were plenty of open seats, so I also think it would've been fine to visit without a reservation too. The olive oil and accompanying bread was really tasty, so we were off to a great start. The mozzarella was delicious, and we liked it even more than the pizza. Simple greens were accurately described--very simple with a light dressing. Only order this if you want some greens, it's nothing memorable or unique. Rosa pizza (added sausage) was also great and we loved the texture of the crust. The cheese was a bit sharp. We'd love to come back and try another pizza. Tip: they were willing to accept a half and half pizza, so if you're wanting to try 2 different pizzas, but only have an appetite for 1, ask. We also ordered balsamic and chili oil to go along with the pizzas. We were pleasantly surprised that we were not charged extra for this.

I saw this delicious place on a Netflix special called the Chefs table. I happened to be in Phoenix so I decided to give this place a try. We were seated promptly when our table was ready. I was excited to see that the vibe was similar to an old school Italian eatery. The pizza was tasty and well prepared. I look forward to visiting again if I'm in the area. Thanks Chris!

Simple food done right. When you start with good ingredients, you get good food. We love the bread, greens and pizza at Pizzeria Bianco. You can eat it and still feel good. Service is always good. Attentive and times perfectly. Great seating indoors and out. There is also a bar area with seating.

Finally made it to Pizzeria Bianco! We came at the right time because when we left there was an actual line to check in. There were 6 of us and we ordered 3 pies. At first we thought it wouldn't be enough but it was plenty. Definitely trying the other pies next time.

TL;DR: I visit Tucson on occasion but fly to PHX and make the drive down SPECIFICALLY to get pies at Bianco's - great pies and friendly service. Simply the best in AZ Ordered: - Margherita: a must and always the best - 1/2 Sonny Boy | 1/2 Biancoverde: just to get a couple different options - Simple local greens: truly simple - got purely for fiber and to feel like I'm eating 'healthy' Perfect undercarriage, good sauce, fresh and delicious toppings. Cheers, Bianco!

What a way to kill my hunger after a long hike! This place really makes some great pizza! We were greeted with a smile and got sat right away on the outside seating, but not before capturing a pic of the wood fired oven! The patio is dog friendly! We ordered a couple of pizzas and a salad. Everything was delicious! The crust was crispy on the outside and slightly chewy on the inside. The sauce was great! The toppings were fresh. Would not change anything on my pizza. Loved this spot and would definitely come back!

Delicious artisan wood fired pizza with a great selection of appetizers and drinks! The ambiance is amazing as well with a dimly lit, antique feel it was a wonderful date spot. The meatballs are a must! Their marinara sauce is absolutely delicious too.

We split two white pies here -- the Rosa and the Biancoverde -- and while both are well-crafted, one clearly flexed harder. The Biancoverde was the star. Creamy ricotta, a generous snowfall of mozzarella, and fresh arugula made every bite lush, savory, and perfectly balanced. The cheese-to-crust ratio was dialed in, letting Bianco's legendary crust shine: blistered, airy, chewy, and just crisp enough to snap before yielding. This is a white pie done with confidence. The Rosa leaned more restrained and minimalist. Parmigiano Reggiano, red onion, rosemary, and pistachio create a subtle, earthy profile -- elegant, but compared to the Biancoverde, it felt quieter and less indulgent. Still good, just not the one I'd crave on the walk back to the car. The space is charming but buzzing, set in a busy plaza next to Trader Joe's with Whole Foods nearby -- very Phoenix, very convenient, very alive. Pro move: skip dessert here and swing by Trader Joe's afterward. Let Bianco handle the pizza obsession; let TJ's handle your sweet tooth.

Stopped by this Pizzeria Bianco after the Cardinals game since this one is open on Sundays and it's tucked away in a general shopping plaza. For dinner time, we only had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. The service and waiter were great throughout the evening. We sat at the outside patio area. I appreciated the compact one-side menu which just enough options to choose from. For how famous PB is, the prices were definitely reasonable. The Sonny Boy was really good and the soppressata was exceptional. The flavor was really fresh and I really enjoyed the red sauce as well. The Rosa was more interesting with a strong cheese flavor but accented with the pistachios and red onion. I do wish that red onions were more evenly distributed because you really need them in each bite to add that balance of acid. However it was a very good combination. The crust is very crispy with a little bit of heft and the thickness is fairly thin.

Ask the Community - Pizzeria Bianco

Can I order a custom made pizza or only the ones on the menu? How much customization of the standard pizzas is allowed? Thank you.

Providing there isn't a long line, such as an hour plus wait, you can choose the existing pizzas on the menu and ask for half of one and half of another. For example half Sonny Boy and half Wiseguy.

What are the vegan options? I see on Yelp it says there are vegan options.

In terms of pizza, just the Marinara (as we don’t offer a vegan cheese) There’s also salad, a roasted vegetable antipasto platter and spaghetti pomodoro. There may also be specials - you can enquire with your server…

Does one location have less of a wait then others? Aren't both locations in Phoenix?

The phoenix location definitely has shorter wait and a whole other house next to it with a bar to sit and wait indoors.

Do they allow dogs on the outdoor patio?

Yes...I dined outside and saw a dog on a leash with the owners dining al fresco

    Do they take reservations?

Yes, have RSVP for 2 before

How can I get a reservation? There is no availability on open table and it said that this restaurant doesn't participate but on the company's website the link goes to open table. Tried calling several times with no answer.

You'll need to show up in person to get on the waitlist. They don't seem to take reservations at all.

Do they have a corkage policy?

    What is corkage?

Does the Camelback location have outdoor seating?

    Yes!

Going there on a Saturday night before a concert at chase field, how long of a wait can I expect?

I would suggest you make a reservation- it is hit or miss on the wait times and depends on the size of your party.

You can taste the quality in each ingredient and I appreciate that. My husband and I agreed that the Spanish octopus was our favorite dish. It was the best octopus I've had in a while, the char flavor and slight crisp was amazing. We enjoyed the creamy sauce, artichokes, and other veggies that came with this dish. The cauliflower and golden beets were incredible too. The chef told us that the Japanese sweet potato was one of the popular dishes, but out of everything we ordered, it was surprisingly my least favorite. It was still good but everything else tasted better to me. Pa'La is a bit pricey but the quality makes up for it. I would recommend this place for people who are visiting or for a date night!

Excellent service, a Christmas tree upstairs, and no reservations required. Glad they were able to seat us considering we showed up without reservations. Downstairs gets quickly reserved so seats upstairs are where they push overflow patrons. Right outside Flint's doors downstairs there is a staircase which opens up to the upstairs dining area. Service was prompt, and we got our drinks by the time we had our mains decided. I got a glass of red to pair with my steak. My partner had a refreshing cocktail, but it was decent. The highlights of the night were the food. SO MUCH FOOD! And it was TERRIFIC! For starters we got the artichoke hummus. It sounded a bit weird, but all it was was regular hummus with 4 artichoke hearts that were crispy. The artichoke hearts were crisp, but moist, and I could have kept eating those all day. It comes with 1 pita bread. The server told us to order another and we did, turns out we needed it as the pita breads were quite small ($3 +). Sure only 3 bucks, but nickel and dime if you are spending $14 on an app... For mains I got the filet medium rare with a side of regular potatoes. My partner got the salmon skewer with a side of asparagus. Both the dishes were cooked perfectly and they were familiar dishes with a slightly exotic touch to it. Must be the middle eastern part of the restaurant. The steak came with a ganache or accompaniments of middle eastern sides. Can't recall what they were but they were great when I dipped my potatoes in them. It was sour, tart, acidic, kind of like middle eastern soy sauce. The server recommended it to us and we got it. The salmon skewer came with 5 decent sized pieces on it. Great for a small eater or someone who doesn't want their own meal. It too was delicious and had light touches of sauce or smoke on it. The asparagus is a favorite. It was cooked as usual, typical steak side and both me and my partner enjoyed it! For dessert, as it was my partners birthday the server comped the pound cake. While it was delicious, it was definitely the letdown of the meal. It was way too sweet including the layer of cream that it was doused with. The sweat cream wasn't necessary as the pound cake was incredibly sweet itself. Also, the pound cake wasn't soft like normal cake. It was quite dry once you peeled away the creme layer up top. I definitely should have gone with the Chocolate Ganache Tart. But their mess up worked in their favor. I'm definitely coming back for another meal at Flint!
