The most amazing pizza you will ever have! The vegan options are delicious. My nephew had his birthday recently and he specifically requested pizza from Pizzeria Halt. He let us know months in advance this is the pizza he wanted served on his special day. We ordered both vegan and non-vegan options and we got rave reviews from the party attendees. Everyone who had the vegan option was delighted. We didn't tell them it was vegan until after! Ha and they were pleasantly surprised. I just feel like if you market yourself as a pizzeria, I expect you to make your own dough. I'm very confident that pizza is a pre-bought frozen "skin" and that was disappointing given the price tag. If I am wrong, then you should go back to the drawing board with your recipes. For that reason, we probably will not be coming back. My family visited Pizzaria Halt on 2/1/2024 after searching for vegan restaurants in Modesto. We recently switched to a vegan diet for health reasons and eating out seemed like it would be a challenge. Well that's not the case for pizza anyway. We were blown away at how good the pizza was. We ordered the vegan Mediterranean, which has a pesto sauce, spinach, artichoke hearts, black olives, and vegan cheese. It was so satisfying and tasty. Our grandson was with us and got a non-vegan cheese pizza that he loved. The person working the counter was super friendly. He let us know that we could get ANY of their pizzas as vegan or regular. He stated that Pizzaria Halt opened about 2-years ago as a vegan only pizza place, but the draw for all vegan has not been enough to keep it going, so about 6-months ago they added non-vegan too.
