The garlic knots were great! I did taste some burnt which I personally don't like.. regardless of that they were pretty delicious. They didn't have a ton of garlic on them like garlic fries. I also ordered the cinnamon roll and some pizza's but didn't get a photo of them. They were really tiny.. all the slices were basically cut for children, not adults. I would love for the pizza to be a bit more thick on the crust. The pizza was good and the cinnamon rolls too! They don't add the icing on there, it's actually separate and I preferred it without it because of how sweet it gets. I'm glad I found a vegan spot in Modesto. I really love this pizza last time I got it, it was made a little different it had red sauce with just the barbecue chicken on it, this time it had barbecue sauce instead of regular (marinara) sauce and it had pineapple and onions on top which I'm not mad at. just so you know if you want to try it the chicken is spicy I'm not sure if they season it that way but I do know they offer chipotle and Buffalo chicken but I'm not sure what makes the bbq chicken pizza spicy ‍ I used ranch to tone down the spice cause it's a little intense but it is good regardless I highly recommend y'all try this! best vegan pizzeria around read more

The pizza's I've tried here are delicious. I had Pizzeria Halt when they first opened and to this day, the flavors are still excellent. They have plant based and regular options. I am plant based so it's great to find plant based pizzas here that taste amazing. The Chicken chipotle plant based, Butter Chicken plant based, and Elote Chipotle plant based are the ones I order most. I've ordered here for my family, coworkers, and friends to try, they all loved the flavors of the pizzas and were surprised to find out that it is plant based even though they love eating their meat items. I've tried other plant based pizza places and this one for now is unmatched. It's hard to find the Pizzeria Halt pizza taste elsewhere. The prices match the presentation, taste, and portions of what they put on the pizza. Overall, I'm happy about what I pay for. read more

This place is sort of hidden away in a shopping center, but we stopped by since we heard it was all vegan! First off, service is wonderful. Servers and management were very happy to have us and answered all of our questions. Second, food was really good. Breadsticks were a little dry but nothing the bomb marinara couldn't fix. We got the pesto chicken and it was delicious. They use Daiya cheese though, which as vegans know, is the most bland and horrible-when-it-comes-to-melting of cheeses. I think because of the love they put into the spices, pesto, and the usage of beyond meat products, the cheese wasn't super noticeable. But the texture failed us. It was like "hm, this is very much not cheese trying to be cheese". Daiya ranch saved it. In conclusion: are you vegan and tired of getting asked "are you sure you want the cheese off?" at other pizzerias? Come here for some great service and some really good vegan pizza. Don't like Daiya? Then maybe steer back since it's in all their cheese based products. Non-vegans beware. While the meats may be enough to fool you, no meat eater I know has ever liked Daiya cheese. read more

I have ordered from Pizzeria Halt twice in the last month. The first order was for a chipotle chicken pizza, garlic knots, and cinnamon bites. We were immediately impressed that vegan pizza could taste so good. It tasted so good that we thought we were eating real chicken. Definitely recommend the chipotle chicken pizza. We were not very fond of the garlic knots. They had an off taste. I'm not sure if they were supposed to taste that way or if something in them went bad. The cinnamon bites are SO good. They were our favorite item ordered. Second visit we ordered the pepperoni pizza, BBQ chicken pizza, cheesy pesto breadsticks, and the cinnamon bites again. The pepperoni pizza was good, but a little sad looking. The BBQ chicken pizza was so spicy it was not enjoyable to eat. Also, pineapple on pizza is debatable and these chunks were huge. If their website said what was on that pizza we would've known to ask them to hold the pineapple. The cheesy pesto breadsticks were really good. They didn't have the same strange taste of the garlic knots. Would definitely order those again. We were a little disappointed that the cinnamon bites this time did not include the icing on the side like we got last time so they were on the dry side. Make sure they include it in the bag before you leave or they don't taste as good. Their marinara sauce tastes really good. The pesto sauce was also good. The ranch is really thick and not my favorite, but it may be yours! Yes, the prices are expensive, but you're paying for the alternative ingredients and convenience. It's not listed online when you order, but at the counter it says they also have kids meals for $10. Overall we will continue to come here if we are craving pizza since we can't have meat or dairy since this is the only restaurant in Modesto that meets that criteria. read more

Owner, ask yourself... can your (likely) minimum wage employees even afford to eat there? The way you've set your own prices is akin to saying that a tiny personal pizza is worth an hour of work. It's impossible. All over the comments, you justify insane prices because the ingredients are "quality" which, that's great, but how is it every other eatery (even the other vegan places in Modesto) have quality ingredients, and are still affordable? TNK has giant portions and their plates range around $10. The Farmacy has tons of super healthy and fresh food, also large portion sizes, and is still less expensive. I can go buy an entire BOTTLE of vegan ranch for $4-5. How on earth can you justify charging anything more than .50 cents for one tiny dipping container? Your own greed will be the death of your business. There are so few vegans in Modesto, and every single one I've met doesn't eat here because we can make the same pizza at home for half the cost. It's just a major bummer! There is no way you've got this set up correctly. More people would come eat here if it wasn't insanely priced. I have a very hard time believing a tiny pizza, even if it has vegan meat, cheese, and other toppings, should cost more than what a human being makes for an hour of labor. If it truly does calculate that way, maybe you need to rethink your menu and ingredients, as well as your supplier. I really do love this place, which is why it's a shame it's impossible to eat there. I'm leaving three stars to not mess up your practice, but you need to read the room: it's far, far, far too expensive. And it's sad, because it does taste pretty decent. read more

Let me start this off that this is my favorite pizza place ever!!!! Well the pizza chain .... Okay .. I ordered 60 dollars worth of pizza to be delivered ... that was plus 6.50 and 5.00 tip... but wait door dash is delivering for them now so cut Jobs Round Table that's what we need ... with the prices I guess that's why I received 2 pizzas that something was spoiled on and can not stop throwing up ... this pizza didn't even taste like no round table I've ever been too.... Spoiled vegetables or cheese ... I don't know but I sent it back they can not even remake it for me it was that horrible ... now I'm not just trying to slam them I've gotten some amazing pizza from here ... maybe delivery is where they cut corners and send shit pizza ....
