I love coming to Thai Village. My go to is always the Pad Kee Mao, Green Curry and Sticky rice. I haven't sat in, I usually order to go, but they are typically busy. The place is clean and we'll lit and feels like everyone enjoys the conversations they have. I can always trust my food to be well cooked and seasoned. I also like their spice levels. Placed an order for takeout at this location by mistake, but it worked out well enough because the food at this location was comparable to the one closer to us. We ordered the pad Thai, panang curry, fried chicken and pork spring rolls. They double fried the chicken so it was extra crispy and tasty! 7-19-25 Decided to FAST along with my fur Bebe from 1:25 a.m. Came here right after her 1:30 pm drop off at the vet for a procedure. Decided to order enough to eat there for lunch and have enough for dinner since hubs had gone to Kauai for a family reunion. The dish that tasted the best was the chicken satay. They don't put it on skewers here and the sauce was good. I enjoyed two spring rolls while they were nice and hot. I liked that the lettuce was fresh and crisp, there was also cucumber and the sauce was right on yummy. I like it here as the tables are in a long row so coming alone isn't a problem. There is a small room in the back with more tables. Hmmm... okay it's 7:25 pm , I think I'll go have some chicken satay and spring rolls for dinner. Rats! I should have ordered a curry too . It was my first time here at Thai Village. I went for lunch, and I ordered the crispy spring rolls and the panang curry with sticky rice. While it was expensive, I would say, for myself and my young toddler, the portions were good. The food also tasted good. The spring rolls were crispy and hot. The curry had a nice peanut butter taste that wasn't overwhelming and a slight hint of spice. The server was very nice and accommodating. The place was very clean. I didn't have to wait long at all. My friend Daryl from the Bay Area was in town on a stopover from his Japan trip and was staying at his brother's house in Mililani. So I told him I would drive out and take him to lunch. After picking Daryl up in Mililani Mauka, he said his sister-in-law recommended we eat lunch at a Thai restaurant she didn't remember the name of. As everyone knows, I can eat Thai food any day, every day, so we Googled "Thai Restaurant" and ended up at Thai Village in Waipio Uka. Of course we parked at the end of the lot furthest from the restaurant but that's all right because we need the exercise. I have been to several other Thai Village locations and the food has been pretty good. Not so much at this one, though. We ordered the shrimp rolls, which are the uncooked ones. They were ok. Daryl had a major heart attack a couple years ago in Las Vegas so has been trying to eat a little healthier. We also ordered the green curry with chicken and the pad see ew with chicken. Both dishes were not thrilling. Of all the Thai Villages I have been to, this was not the one which I would consider the best. I think the ones in Aiea and Kapalama are a lot better. read more

I like that it's chicken breast. They could have given more peanut sauce. I'll say the pad Thai seemed to be lacking on the eggs, tofu, and veggies...could have had more mix-ins for the amount of noodles. Overall, great flavors, just a little pricy. I've heard about Thai Village from friends who live further west for years. Finally got to try it. We ordered the curry pad Thai - per my friend - and spring rolls. The spring rolls were very comparable to my fave Thai restaurant in town. The curry pad Thai was interesting - it has a coconut milk flavor, without being too strong. There is a faint curry taste, but it's not spicy or overpowering. It's interesting. But you're asking the wrong person. My go to dish would be pad kee mao or drunken noodles. Next time. Restaurant is pretty clean, lots of seating, lots of lighting. There's a separate room in the back that I guess they fill after the front dining room is full. We sat back there by ourselves, which was nice. Lots and lots of parking. It's in the shopping center with Foodland, Big City Diner, and Calvary Chapel. I would go back, but I wouldn't drive out from town to eat here. My friend out west says town Thai is still best. Service was good and fast! read more

Had some good Thai food in Waipahu at this restaurant in the Waipi'o Shopping Center. It may be a small place, but it's big on taste at least. Thai Village is pretty authentic with the flavors and spiciness. Prices have gotten higher but they aren't that bad for the big portions you get. You can get things that are meaty, or you can get vegetarian options with tofu as a protein. Even though the place is small, it wasn't crowded. It's a place that doesn't even have bathrooms inside. These are actually located outside and have a key. A pretty big menu with lots of classic favorites. It's about $18 for an entree, which is kind of a lot but you're getting a lot. Each of us got a curry. These are made with fish sauce, but ask them to leave it out to make these vegetarian. I got the Green Curry. This is made with basil, bell peppers, coconut milk, eggplant, green curry sauce, and a choice of protein. Good spice and there's more you can add. There's other things like noodles and rice entrees if wanting something like those. Good place to get authentic Thai food. It's located in the part of the shopping center north of the Foodland and some other Chinese restaurant. There's plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians. read more

We ordered the fish fillet, curry pad thai, eggplant stirfry, and banana rice cake. The fish fillet is deep fried but the fish and batter is so light! It comes with a spicy garlic sauce to dip the fish in... that sauce is so good! I would buy a bottle of it! The curry pad thai is very unique and flavorful! It's like a step up from the regular pad thai. The eggplant stirfry is also good. I wanted to try the ong choy stirfry but they didn't have ong choy that day so I went with the eggplant which is something I've already tried from them. I wanted to try their desserts. Our server recommended the banana rice cake and tapioca. I've already tried tapioca so I went with the banana rice cake. Food tasted Good because the panang curry was so good and the pineapple chicken fried rice I ordered for my 7 yr old son he ate most of it and he's usually a picky eater so he definitely enjoyed it. They had a clean dining area, fast service, very friendly and respectful customer service too, bathroom was located outside on the right side of the building exiting the restaurant wasn't too far , clean restroom, we were their only customers since we went in early during daytime and a few customers ordered takeout, I'd say the prices are too pricey tho we only ordered two entrees and a few drinks and dessert yet our bill came out to almost $65, Yikes. But what's more important to me is customer service and it was perfect. So I'd definitely go back there again. read more

This was my go to Thai restaurant. Just remodeled and very bright now. It was so delicious. I ordered at least once a week. Service is fast and staff is friendly. Now to my One star rating. Look at the picture, these are not Pad See Ew noodles. They have recently changed from the delicious thick Thai noodle to these thin egg looking noodle. Taste is very different and does not taste like Thai food. I called thinking these noodles were temporary but the staff informed me that it is a permanent change. Sorry to say that I won't be ordering from Thai Village any more. If they go back to a thick Thai noodle please let me know. I really liked their food. Disappointing! read more

Our new favorite Thai restaurant on Oahu with authentic Thai staff! After a day of shopping at the Waikele Outlets, this was the perfect meal before heading home. We tried the Thai tea, curry soup, pad si ew, and evil jungle curry. I recommend everything. We had tons of food to take home as leftovers that reheated great for meals the next couple of days. Inside they have decorations that look like they are from Thailand and reminded us of our time there. We greeted the staff in Thai and they were very kind to us. I did not see a restroom inside. I was excited to try the Curry Pad Thai because I sometimes crave pad thai but then get tired of the sweetness halfway through. The curry definitely gave it a slightly spicier note but the dish was way too salty and needed maybe double the noodles for balance. Would've also liked to see more bean sprouts, green onions, and the crushed peanuts that give pad thai its hallmark appeal. Sadly, this dish was the bottom of the 3 things we ordered. (2/5) The red curry was a sort of hybrid between the reds and greens I've had and sat very much on the mellow side. (3/5) The underdog was the Mixed Seafood fried rice. I've never really ordered it this way, and I think the flavor of the seafood came through while also still being true to a casual-restaurant-level fried rice (if you also love the way fried tomatoes melt). Tucked away in a small shopping mall in the Waipio neighborhood, it posts a modest store front for a restaurant serving excellent Thai food. After getting seated, looking at their menu there were quite a few items to select from. The Evil Curry looked delicious as well as the Pad Thai with spring rolls as an appetizer. The food arrived quickly and tasted delicious! Normally when I visit Thai restaurants, they tend to make the Evil Curry too spicy for me but this was perfect. Surprisingly, I still had room for dessert so tried the banana-taro and coconut. I"m glad to say both were very good. Service was good as well with the server checking regularly. Maybe I'm not the expert, but it should also have some curry flavors in it. The pineapple fried rice was mid. 5/10. I took it home and refried it with some seasoning and topped with fried egg. Much better. Fried chicken was yummy and crispy and that sauce was yummy. 8/10 Curry Pad Thai is a MUST HAVE! So freaking delicious. We got it with beef and it was so good. I wish I chose this dish.
