Biggest mistake ever was purchasing a car for this company. Don't waste your time because it'll be a mistake.

Walker Ford - Love our Eagles

    Walker Ford

I would like to share a recent experience that I had at Walker Ford…read more I have purchased three vehicles from Walker in the past, dating all the way back to the early 2000s, and I was anticipating another good experience when I went to the dealership a few weeks ago. My husband and I are ( were) in the market for a 2025 F150. We wanted to take advantage of the 0% interest for 60 months incentive. We stopped into the dealership on March 14th. Jake met us as we arrived. We spent about an hour looking at the inventory and narrowing down the trucks that were of interest to us. ( XLT, 2WD, 4 door crew cab). Jake handed us a piece of paper when we left with the trucks VIN number and price. During the next 2 weeks, we visited other dealerships and I was in communication with Jake asking various questions about the truck at Walker. We decided to purchase the truck at Walker. I called Jake and asked him to send me the proposal so I could give him a deposit. He said that we could do the bulk of the paperwork electronically, which we were happy about. When I received the proposal, the price of the vehicle was inflated almost $14,000. I called him immediately. He told me that the Internet price was only available if we paid cash! At no time, EVER, in my talking with him, my texting with him or looking at the trucks in person did he tell me that the Internet price was only available if we paid cash. In fact, he knew that we were looking at the 2025's to take advantage of the 0% interest. When I questioned him about this in detail, he said it was on the website. I looked over the website, and unless it's buried in some tiny fine detail, It's not obvious that paying cash is the only way to get an Internet price. We were extremely surprised and obviously disappointed. Does it really matter to a dealership if I pay cash or if I finance the vehicle? Either I'm paying you for the car or the bank is. How I pay for it, should be irrelevant. The worst part about the whole experience was a statement that Jake made at the end of our phone conversation. Jake said..."When you go to another dealership and they screw you over worse, you can give me a call". Since the early 2000s, anytime I've purchased a vehicle with Walker Ford, it has been a good experience This time, not so much

They were clear and honest about the…read moreGVWR limits and all the vehicle specs without dancing around anything or trying to confuse the conversation. No pressure. No sales tricks. No sudden tone shifts when questions got specific. The 2025 Bronco Outer Banks is exactly what it claims to be. Comfortable, confident, and still unmistakably a Bronco. But what really stood out was how easy the entire process felt. I never felt rushed, talked down to, or nudged toward something that did not make sense. It felt like an actual conversation instead of a performance. This was my first time buying a brand new vehicle, and somehow it managed to be smooth, transparent, and genuinely stress free. If this is how car buying is supposed to work, more dealerships need to take notes.

BEWARE - Ferman Ford Mobile Unit Forced Recall on My F-350, Destroyed Emissions System -- Ford…read moreDenied Reimbursement & Ferman Refuses to Refund My $3,163.20 I scheduled a simple oil change ("The Works" ) for my 2020 Ford F-350 on April 29, 2026. Ferman Ford of Countryside sent their mobile service unit (tech Allan Petrella). They performed the factory recall programming even though I did not approve it. The same day (April 29) -- right after the forced reprogramming -- the check-engine light came on for the first time ever. My truck had zero emissions/DEF issues and was running perfectly before they touched it. I had to bring it back multiple times (May 1st- 9th). Their own repair orders admit the light came on immediately after the recall. They replaced NOx sensors, performed TSBs, then replaced the reductant injector, SCR particulate filter, sensors, gaskets, etc. Ford corporate denied the recall reimbursement (I have not yet received the letter explaining why). Yet Ferman Ford refuses to fully refund me. They applied only partial "goodwill" and made me pay $3,163.20 out of pocket ($616.73 + $546.47 + $2,000) just to get my truck back. This was either gross incompetence with the emissions recall programming or a way to stick customers with expensive diesel repairs after their mobile unit forces the work. If you own a Ford Super Duty diesel, do NOT let Ferman Ford (Countryside) -- especially their mobile unit -- perform any recall or emissions work without written approval and before/after scans. Record the service visit, if possible, I did and it shows the tech did not perform the recall appropriately as he was NEW to the company and ford. He even admitted he didn't know how many quarts of oil a diesel took which is why he had to wait for the other tech but still decided to do a recall! Ferman Ford of Countryside: You forced the recall via mobile unit claiming it was for safety, emissions are not safety you broke the emissions system the same day -- I should not have had to pay for this mistake you should refund the full $3,163.20 you made me pay for it. An reevaluate who you have for mangers and technicians. Will should have never authorized me to pay 516.74 for a second recall reprogramming or 616.73 in parts I didn't need! Camron should NOT be a manger over mobile unit and has failed to do his job when the initial call came in and continues to fail at his job after wards, he should not be in management! I will say Nick did try to submit this in to ford corporate and agreed I should not have to pay for it but hasn't refunded it either not even partially. I did however get a call from them stating I am stuck with what happened and they are waiting to see what nick wants to do. How is this even a struggle especially when I was a biweekly client since I'm over the road so much. I know me not taking my truck there they could care less over which is sad for them the unethical practices they choose to allow. But I do hope this at least helps someone else not have their vehicles destroyed and get stuck with paying for it. The funniest part the whole time this was going on they kept trying to get me to trade my truck in don't do it!

I had just noticed while washing my rims something seemed off about the right front rim as if it was too wide for the front. So I immediately measured the rim width. As it turns out on the right side (passenger side) they had installed the smaller front tire on the rear wider rim and installed it on the front right, and installed the wider back tire on the narrower front rim and installed it on the rear right. So, basically they put the wrong size tires on the wrong rims, but in the correct position for tire size between front and back. The front rim has inner damage from rubbing on something from being too wide, looks like it was slighly rubbing on the bracket for the strut. I will be contacting them on Monday for new tires and to fix any damage caused. On top of all this a few days after I had them originally replace the tires I heard a rattling metallic sound sporadically coming from one of the front wheels, it ended up being a piece of metal they had somehow left in the wheel when putting on the new tire. Then about a month after that I had finally noticed one of the valve stem covers was replaced with a big ugly random one. My car has specific ones that came with it and always has. I had noticed it finally when I went to fill the tires with air. So overall not impressed and am hoping they can correct this on Monday. Not feeling very confident in using them ever again after this, there was just one mistake after another, all on doing a simple job of replacing tires that I paid nearly $2000 for

Cracked RIGHT AT THE PLUG!!! Somehow, this is my fault and I have to pay for it?!? Drivetrain warranty that should have fixed it won't because it is a used car and the awesome 10 year/100k mile warranty is only if you buy the car new, and because the Drivetrain warranty will not cover the part, the Extended Warranty from Zurich (that they sold me for several thousand dollars when I bought the car ) will not cover it because it is supposed to be covered by the Drivetrain warranty. But, in an effort to be reasonable, management said if we bought the part (for $267), they will install it for free. So they can mess it up again!?! And then they give me 2 vouchers a year worth $70 each for Use towards synthetic oil changes, yet still insist I come in every 3mo/3000 miles? What's up with that?
