I stopped by PJs because I saw them advertise that they had king cake. I had a big slice, a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit, and a king cake latte with oat milk. The king cake was so soft and sweet, I could have eaten another piece! The sausage, egg and cheese croissant was very filling. The king cake latte was delicious, and not too sweet. The service was great, and the sofa was comfortable. It definitely had a New Orleans vibe.

Coffee shops are ubiquitous and generic these days. There's little to be said for one other than its parking lot is larger or smaller than the competitor's down the street. PJ's draws on a New Orleans heritage. A jazzy musical playlist, Mardi Gras-esque chandelier, and beignets offered hints of the Crescent City. It reminded me of Starbucks. Not in its appearance but with its stripped down menu--mostly coffee items and a few teas and pastries--and its straightforward interior. There's a leather-like couch with matching chairs, and 4-person individual tables for laptop work or a quick meeting. There's also the wall of packaged coffees with branded items for sale, a drive-thru, and personable baristas. (It has sufficient parking.) Add emerald green, discard the white counter and subway tile backdrop, install a mermaid logo and it's good to go as the competition.

Fantastic addition to the O'fallon area! The inside is a modern, clean, New Orleans themed coffee shop and the workers are so so friendly. Stopped in today and they were super quick and accurate with the four drinks I ordered. The menu is expansive. They have a good selection of sugar free and regular syrups and milk options. My favorite part- the sizes are what you would expect and the prices aren't insane either (I can't say this about many of the other local coffee shops nearby). Additionally, the sugar free flavors (I got hazelnut) tasted fantastic- nothing like a nearby coffee shop that tastes like chemicals. I love that they have regular and nitro cold brew as well. Stop inside or hit the drive thru :) This might be my new go to spot! 10/10

Have you ever been transported back to a specific time or place through food? Maybe it's eating something your grandma used to make, or eating something you had at a restaurant on a memorable vacation. Well, in Missouri you don't see beignets on a menu very often. But PJs has them, made from scratch, and made to order along with well-balanced, aromatic coffee to accompany those delicious beignets. One bite and I was transported back to New Orleans, sitting in Cafe Du Monde, eating beignets, drinking cafe au lait, and listening to live jazz on the street corner. It was an unexpected wonderful memory made possible by eating a most enjoyable treat at PJs. Here are two bits of advice while eating beignets: 1. Have plenty of napkins ready because powdered sugar will be everywhere. 2. Don't inhale as you take a bite. Trust me. :) Enjoy!

First time trying PJ's Coffee a new spot in O Fallon, MO. I saw they have beniets. Hot, fresh and delicious! They come in orders of three and loaded with powdered sugar, a treat on a cold day! Actually didn't try coffee this visit since it was right before closing, but enjoyed a frozen lemonade with our treats. Coming back for coffee and more beniets! I recommend checking this place out.

Who doesn't love coffee??? I was excited to pop in and give this place a try. The team is so friendly and helpful!! The line moves quickly. My order is a dirty chai latte with skim milk. I have yet to try the food offerings. The case is full of sweet and savory items to choose from. The space is perfect for meeting friends for coffee, studying or just hanging out.

First time visiting. Super cute coffee shop with its own unique flair - New Orleans style. My partner and I ordered a drink and an order (of 3) beignets. I had a vanilla velvet ice which was very tasty. The beignets were very delicious - more filling than a usual beignets which I've found to be more airy in the middle. Would definitely recommend. A nice change of pace compared to the usual popular chains.

Excellent latte and beignets and friendly drive-through service. I tried their strawberry rose white chocolate latte, honey oat milk latte and beignets - all were excellent and one of the best coffee latte I've had in the area. The rose flavor is pleasant, but not too strong and latte was smooth; I couldn't stop drinking it. I'll definitely be coming back for more soon.

If you are in the O'Fallon area you have to stop in for a premium cup of Joe. PJ's offers a variety of items in a great atmosphere. Today I enjoyed a cup of cocoa and a few pastries, catered by PJ's. Tell them Chaz sent you!

This was my first visit to this location…read more It was cold outside but the Van Gogh hit the spot to warm me up! It's made with chocolate, Carmel and vanilla. A mocha masterpiece. Service was very friendly. Self serve water available. Perfect spot to grab a coffee, frappe, espresso or smoothie. Nice case filled with add on sweet treats. Local art on the walls. Nice laid back vibe.

People clearly love this place. At 8 AM on a Sunday morning, there was already a pretty good crowd…read more I've been doing meetups at local coffee shops for the past several weeks, and sometimes it's kind of a ghost town, even if the food and coffee is good. I'd suggest that people were there to visit downtown St. Charles, or whatever it's called, which has a certain old-timey charm to it, but everything else was closed--presumably until later in the day, but who knows. That fentanyl is a menace. Parking could be a pain, if it's not the wee hours of the morning on a weekend, and you're not ambulatory enough to walk from a block or two over, and yet you're going to get essentially the equivalent of a milkshake and a donut. Inside is rustic, inviting and larger than you'd think, with an upstairs area that I didn't bother to explore, due to lack of curiosity. We had a larger group and ended up pushing a few smaller tables together, plus a few chairs we borrowed from other tables. No one seemed to mind. The key is not to ask first. That mentality will take you far in both the world of finance and dating. I'm kind of over ordering food from coffee shops, where they're obviously just throwing something in the microwave and charging you $10 for it, but I needed something to eat. I'd just gone for a run. Their burrito looked like the textbook definition of cultural appropriation, but it also looked like it might not be half bad. I had their equivalent of an Egg McMuffin, called Ron's Breakfast Sandwich, or something to that effect. When I hear the name Ron, I of course think of Sasso from Carlito's Way, but that probably says more about me than anything else. I'm assuming he didn't have anything to do with this. Essentially, this was a store-bought English muffin, a surprisingly generous and delicious helping of cheddar cheese, a few slices of seemingly prepackaged black forest ham and a fried egg. It was fine for what it was. Could the egg have been salted, could the muffin have been buttered and could the ham been an actual slice of Canadian bacon, or even better, American bacon? Sure, but I went into this with low expectations. The cheddar was melty and delicious, and weirdly abundant, but processed American cheese would have been more fitting for this kind of sandwich. You'd think a guy named Ron wouldn't object to processed foods. The caramel frappe I had was amazing. I got it with whole milk and whipped cream. I didn't bother to check and see if they charge you extra for whipped cream, which is the kind of crap some of these places have been known to pull. I got the 16 oz instead of the 20 oz, but it was probably still enough to take a day off the end of my life (when I don't need it as much anyway fwiw). Sometimes, when a food item tastes good enough, you can just tell it's not good for you, and that was the case with this drink. It was decidedly rich. I'm never in this part of town, and if I were, it would be at night, natch, but if things ever get to the point where they're clearly trending in that direction, I might start stopping by on the reg and getting that caramel frappe just to speed along the process of my demise.
