I get the best customer service that I ever get from a tire installer today! First I research the installer near my area that equipped with the latest Hunter Install and Balancing Machine. preferably the Hunter GSP9700 Road Force Elite Balancing Machine using Hunter website: https://www.hunter.com/gsp9700 then use the Yelp to make sure they have good rating. It's worth it. I took my car to PK Auto Design at 12473 Gladstone Ave, Suite F, Sylmar, CA91342 Paul the owner of PK Auto Design do the tire install and balancing himself. Paul even wipe clean my dirty wheel (I just return from Arizona and don't have time to wash my car). He also clean the residue from the last balancing weight. Later Hunter his assistant work on my second wheel because Paul have guest and do the same perfect job. They then tighten the lug nut to 85ft/lb just like what I ask them to. While I wait, William (Paul's father) spent time talking about engineering stuff with me since both him and I are engineers I mean they really treated the customer like a KING !!! I never experience this level of customer service before... oh one more thing, I always go to tire installer who either have Hunter Road Force Touch or better the Elite model, but this is the only place I visit that actually USE the Road Force function when balancing my wheel/tire. other place never use the Road Force function... read more

I needed some high quality but not outrageously expensive 20x11" rims to mount M/T ET Street SS 305/35-20 drag radials for my 2017 Procharged Camaro--and I wanted them to approximate the style of front wheels I would run at strip. Paul provided top notch consulting and suggested newly released MRR M560s. He took the time to understand my requirements and priorities. The M560s looked sharp in gloss graphite, the price was right, their dimensions were right (offset), I was familiar with the brand (I use MRR017's for my staggered street set) in terms of quality of construction, and shipping was free. I placed my order and was able to use my PayPal to expedite processing. Wait time was minimal for rims to ship and I was able to specify shipping to my installer of choice. Communication was up to snuff - order tracking was provided -- which is handy. My expectations were exceeded in all respects. I first learned of PK Auto Design when I sent a request to a wheel manufacturer. They referred my question to Paul at PK Auto Design. He was very responsive to my e-mails and there were many. Each e-mail was answered in less than a day. Our email discussion led me to question Paul about a tire purchase. I have been putting off getting new tires for my GT500 because I couldn't find a shop that I felt confident would not scratch up my wheels during the dismount / mount process. I asked Paul about his tire machine and he informed me he used the Hunter Revolution Tire Changer and used a Road Force balancer. I was immediately sold. I arranged a date/time to have the tires changed and drove 1 hour to Paul's shop. I was met by Paul who was very cordial. Paul understood I was very OCD about my wheels and walked me back in his shop to show me the Hunter Revolution machine. He explained how it worked and we also discussed some work he had done to a few cars in his shop. After a few minutes, they got to work on my tires. A very short time later, Paul let me know they were finished. He brought the wheels out and we went over them together. Just as I had hoped, not a scratch to be seen. I was very pleased and will return to Paul at PK Auto Design for my future tire needs. My experience with Paul and the shop was great. Paul is truly a professional. He went out of his way to know what my concerns were and to address them. Paul and his staff really seemed to care about my wheels and car as much as I do.
