Order: Happy Hours Margarita is Fire Buffalo and Sweet Wings This is a cool happy hours spot, the drinks are well balanced. Parking is ample. Service is always great when I stop by.

$5 Tuesday smash burger with side of tater tots (not included in the Tuesday special)

A friend and I headed over to PKL one Tuesday evening because we heard they were hosting a Love Island watch party - we were so in! It's one of our summer guilty pleasures. We arrived around 7PM, an hour before the show comes on and loved that there was reserved seating for those of us there to watch the show. Parking here can be tight; tight in finding a spot, but even if you find one, the spots are very tight - literally! You would want to bring a smaller car if you can and hope that no one went over the line even an inch or you might not fit in the spot. We witnessed multiple people struggle unfortunately. We decided to come on a Tuesday because of PKL's $5 burger specials on this day. You can get their classic burger or smash burger for $5; we opted for this and I added the tots as well (also $5). The food was good and the prices were great. However... on this particular day, they were not staffed adequately to take care of the large crowd of Love Island watchers. And unfortunately it hindered the experience. There was table service or you could order at the bar. Our waiter arrived relatively quickly to take our orders and start our tab, but due to the large number of people and maybe because so many of us ordered burgers for the special, they were really having trouble keeping up and matching the food to the patron. They were losing track of who ordered what and the wait time was about 45 minutes. Once the show ended, we found our waiter and went to him to close out near the bar to avoid waiting for him to come back to our table. I would come back and try PKL again as I think this was just a tough night for them.

Great service, location, and concept. Drinks selection is large with full bar. Food is fun and fresh.

PKL Social is a pretty chill spot for drinks, food and you guessed it Pickleball. Seriously, I've heard "pickleball" all summer like it was a new Beyoncé album, so I finally went to see what the hype was about. Parking was a pleasant surprise. They actually have a real parking lot, so no circling the block 50 million times like you're trying to summon a spot through sheer willpower. Service was solid; we got menus, recommendations, and the pickleball booth attendant gave us the crash course without making us feel like we were failing gym class. After grabbing food and some much needed mimosas, we headed to the court. If you have no idea what pickleball is, think of it as tennis and paddle ball had a child, and that kid just wants everyone to have a good time. Bring friends who want to play, even beginners catch on quick. The court is rented by the hour (not sure how much). I didn't ask because I didn't pay. Overall, I can definitely see myself going back. I had a ball Who wants to play pickleball?!?

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Great event. Food is also really good. I had the burger. Service was good even with a really big crowd. The PB courts are good and great layout. Fun place to go play, eat and drink.

My boyfriend and I came here to grab brunch really quick. We got to PKL the moment they opened and we didn't have a good experience (at first) with the host, who later became our server. She didn't look too happy when we came right when the place opened. We stood just outside the door to get seated since we had our dogs with us and she just stood at the hostess stand telling us to come get the menus instead of bringing the to us. After we sat down our experience got a little better. The food was great and the service was better after we received our food.

Has its' own large parking lot, has inside and lots of outside seating, has outside covered bar by 4 pickle ball courts, with good food and service. Love it

Mostly reservations and a few open play mixed in during the day time (if you're retired or somehow not working during 11a-2pm on a random weekday). It definitely gets busy with all the league plays and corporate events. Most recently for my Alumni happy hour they double booked us and we had to give up the courts to league play (understandable) I do like the vibes generally as there are plenty of TVs showing sports - It's actually a good game watch location for large parties. (Big Football games for College/Pro) They often have some random corporate sponsors (in the times I've been I've seen Coors light and Stella show up and offering up free beers as well as some swag which was cool) Real ones will remember the old place here as "FM kitchen and bar".. Haven't tried out most of the new menu, did get a burger that was on special and it came our like a junior whopper size.. I mean for a $8 burger (normal price) this would be seen as a rip off. Not really that much of a deal since it doesn't come with fries.. They do have an outdoor bar and the waitstaff is very attentive. As for the pickleball itself, good surface, clean courts always welcomed, love the color contrast and the outdoor lights. Would continue coming back here

I'm a little late to the pickleball craze, but better let than never right? At work, we try to do some fun activities outside of work every so often. Team building if you will. Pickleball was the activity chosen this time around and I was more than excited to try it out. We booked ahead a few weeks out and the availability for a couple of courts was on a Tuesday night. I thought it might be a little slow, but I was wrong. The lot is a decent size but packed. I was lucky enough to get a spot as someone pulled off. PKL is a concept from the owners behind FM Kitchen & Bar which is connected hence the busy parking lot. It's pretty clear which side is which, but it can be confusing where to order food and drinks. Now both have bars and both serve food, but if you order from FM, you can only get it to go if you are hanging out in the pickleball area. Customer service was ok. The guy manning the bar wasn't very friendly and seemed to be more focused on his friends. Our server on the other hand was outstanding and very attentive. She got them the extra star! Pickleball. New to me, but definitely a popular thing these days. The courts are popping up all over the place. This place is cool as it only allows customers that are 21 and up. Nothing wrong with having kids, but it's nice to be able to drink and swing paddles around without worrying about knocking out a little rugrat. We reserved two courts for about 12-14 of us. With a group that size, you have an option of two courts for an 1.5 hours each. Otherwise, you have the option of reserving at 30 minutes or 1 hour blocks at 30 dollars an hour. It's really not a bad price especially if you have a larger group like ourselves. You can bring your own equipment or rent theirs for a small fee at their pro shop. There are plenty of seating options, along with TVs everywhere and an outdoor bathroom. They have water coolers set up but they were not too good about refilling them as they got empty. They also were not very good about cleaning tables either. We ordered food but the closest, clean tables was away from our belongings and courts. There were also issues with people not getting off the courts at the end of their times. There was nobody enforcing this. We had to wait because the people before us claimed they didn't get on their court on time. Sounds like a personal problem. We had to find someone to get them off because we did pay for a certain time. As far as the courts itself. Well maintained. We had fun. Food and drink wise, PKL has their own menus separate from FM Kitchen. The drink menu is pretty solid with cocktail, beer and wine choices. I ordered a craft draft beer which was nice and cold and decently prices. They were running a $5 smashburger special which most of us got. The burger itself was solid. I like that they use fresh jalapenos on it. The fries were really good but came at an additional charge as opposed to ordering the burger off the regular menu. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food and drinks. Overall, I found out I like pickleball! As this was my first visit to a pickleball venue, I have nothing to compare it to. A good time was had but there are definitely things they need to work on.

Really nice that they have a free open play on three courts during the week-day, making it a very fun spot for a lunch break or quick team outing. They have covered seating with fans and televisions of various sizes. Ice cold water by the courts and a full restaurant and bar. Plenty of parking. Food came out relatively quickly (a colleague ordered before a game start and the food was delivered mid-game). I can't comment on the food and drink yet as I didn't have any, but the drinks are pretty reasonably priced. Definitely coming back!

The service was great! The other customers at open play were fun and welcoming. The food was perfect. There was plenty of covered patio area between the courts. Exceptional experience and I would definitely come back with others to chill and/or play pickleball.

Came here on a Friday evening with co-workers. Made reservations earlier in the week and was only able to secure a 30-minute slot. Would highly recommend booking a court earlier if you want an hour+ of play time. It's $15 per half hour (so $30 for an hour) and if you want to rent paddles, they're $5 each for the reservation. We were lucky enough to get the solo court. There are other courts in the back, but no separation. So there's possibility of other people's balls ending up on your court. Plenty of outdoor seating, mixture between high chairs and picnic benches. Fans located at the corners for those hot days. Good amount of TVs throughout. They have happy hour (PKL rally hour) 3pm-6:30pm, which included $5 domestic draft beers, $2 off all cocktails and wines, and 25% off snacks/apps. Drinks were decent. Four types of frozen drinks - margarita, frosé, Paloma, and mango chamoy. We ordered some apps. Recommend the pretzels. Chicken flautas were okay, they were small! I'd personally pass on the nachos. Heard from my other coworkers that the queso was good, but can't speak on it personally. Overall, had a good time with my coworkers. Would return again. And they had a lot of parking available, considering the area it's in. My only complaint is the parking spots are kinda tight.

I attended the Friends & Family event this week and felt like my prayers for a beautiful/aesthetically pleasing pickleball facility were answered! PKL is the perfect combination of relaxed and fun with good vibes (and food!!) all around. The four outdoor courts are shades of bright blues complementing the covered green turf and bright accent painted seating area. The spacing of the courts and seating area as well as the decor seem very well thought out, which makes sense considering the owner himself is a high-level pickleball player. PKL is perfect for both the competitive and casual player. Regardless of which skill level you are, you'll need food and drinks to re-fuel. I had the opportunity to try the softs pretzels, cheese curds, chips and guac, brussel sprouts, coconut shrimp bowl, and carne asada bowl. The food is usually an afterthought at most "fun" pickleball facilities and honestly even at some sports bars... Luckily, FM Kitchen is the very successful adjoining restaurant that executes the PKL Social menu. Food was very tasty and service was spot-on throughout the night, so I can't wait to come back!
