I invested in Dr. Art's Chiropractic expertise a few month's ago due to a long-time lingering pain in my leg/hip. He did a very thorough exam which included a variety of tests (from top to bottom) including x-rays. He had me come back after thoroughly reviewing the testing/x-ray results. He then took the time to explain his findings and proposed a treatment plan that would resolve all of the areas (including the pain I presented with). I highly recommend Dr. Art Francis for his expertise in health and healing pain. He IS Amazing. Honestly, I wasn't sure what I did, or what had happened to me but I couldn't walk. Literally. I could kinda put more pressure on my left side to help with moving my right leg but the pain was no-joke. It was intense and effected sleeping, my neck, right arm, right leg & side and the headaches that followed. Fortunately I was able to get right in. I only say that because it takes weeks to get an appointment anywhere these days. With a little bit of paperwork I was in. Dr. Art listened to what I had to say. I have Meniere's disease causing severe episodes of vertigo and a 75% loss of hearing in one ear for me personally. I have been treating it through an ENT and a Neurologist this past year taking several rounds of different medications with no change. I was having an issue with my neck and while I was having lunch with my buddy who is a physician he recommended I come and see Placentia Linda Chiropractic. I told him I was skittish about chiropractors because although I've had good experiences I've had bad ones as well. He explained to me that he understood my concerns but he felt I would connect well with these chiropractors. Upon arriving in the office I decided not to name drop my friend's name to see how well I'd be treated as if I came in from off the street. I've been the chiropractors in the past that quickly sit me down, adjust me, and then send me on my way after I pay. I was pleasantly surprised at how thorough Dr. Howes was at understanding my physical history and his recommendations to help me feel better. Before he made his first adjustment he took a great deal of time alternating between hot packs, and cold packs and took the time to really loosen up my back before making the adjustments. Normally I feel good for a day or two after seeing a chiropractor but after one visit I felt good for at least a month. At no time did I feel pressured to make my appointments a regularly. He explained some exercises I could do and told me to let him know if I needed anything. I've been so impressed by how this office is managed. My last several visits have been when dr. I have been to many chiropractors in my past, but never have I been to one so thorough and detailed. Dr. Francis took the time to review my situation with x-rays and many different tests before he would even adjust me. I came in for chronic headaches and numbness in my leg that wouldn't go away. There are Chiropractors, physical therapists and everything in-between, and then there is Doctor RYAN and the amazing Staff at Placentia-Linda Chiropractic Center. i have been suffering with chronic neck and shoulder pain for years - and I do mean years. I had a regular Chiropractor that I saw once or twice a month - he was a great and neat man - I thought he was helping me, but I NEVER seemed to get any better. So I suffered and was basically told I was going to have to live with this weakness for the rest of my life - Like a fool, I accepted my "condition." Dr Ryan was recommended to us by a nutritionist to help my daughter with shoulder and neck pain. After a few visits of therapy I witnessed her getting a whole lot better. I finally caved in and told Dr Ryan about the condition of my neck and shoulders. He dug in and did amazing therapy using ultra sound, electrode therapy - including an adjustment - but it was the message and physical therapy technique that completely transformed my condition. That was about 2 or 3 years ago! I am not saying i am totally pain free, but the difference is night and day. Instead of 15 visits a year or more to the chiropractor, i think I have had doctor Ryan work on my neck and shoulders one or two times since my initial visits and therapy. If helping my chronic neck pain wasn't enough, I have also been suffering with horrible problems with my feet. I have the flattest and most painful feet in the world - bad as bad can be, especially my right foot that has a medium sized bunion. If you don't believe how bad and flat my feet are, just ask doctor Ryan! Anyway, he did miracles with my neck and back issues, so I asked him if he would be able to help me with my feet. He mentioned that 50 percent of his cliental came in for feet related problems. So a few months ago, Dr Ryan began therapy on my feet including my that nasty bunion on my right toe. It has taken probably 10 to 15 visits. But under the care of doctor Ryan my feet have improved dramatically. Granted, I have had to do my "Homework" so to speak, that means icing, stretching, and "exercising" my feet, but my pain level and the health of my feet have finally taken a turn for the better. The pain is under control and i can function so much better now - I still have the bunion mind you, but it is smaller and a whole lot better. I could just kick myself for not bringing this issue up to him sooner, there was no need for me to have put up with all of this pain and discomfort. But i suppose it is better late than never, and I have learned a valuable lesson Without a doubt, Dr Ryan and the incredible staff at Placentia Chiropractic have helped me, my family and all the friends I have sent them for treatment. So please, do yourself a huge favor: if you are in pain, and are sick of it, and want to get better, please go see Doctor Ryan. And at all costs, avoid any kind of SURGERY - including Bunion surgery. Honestly, I can't guarantee you that Dr Ryan can fix "every" condition, all i know is he has helped me deal with my pain and discomfort - that I thought I had to live with. Dr Ryan is honest, and if he can help you, he will, if not then he will give it to you straight. He's a great guy, knowledgeable, has amazing integrity (as in he is not in the business to make a quick buck off you) and is a rarity in this profession. He truly is "into" his profession to help people get better! Yeah, hard to believe, but true!!! Again, you can just live with your pain and discomfort, or you can do something about it! You have nothing to lose by paying a visit to doctor Ryan, and everything to gain. I came here after months of depending on my doctor to help relieve my lower back problems and getting nowhere. I was also concerned with becoming too dependent on strong pain killers to mask the pain. I felt like my only solution was to have some type of back surgery. I have known Dr. Art for a year now and live a small jaunt away from Placentia. I have been going to Chiropractor's for well over 10 years due to a back injury that has left me in an enormous amount of consistent pain. I have been devoted to my "local" Chiropractor for a few years who is highly respected and exceptional at his practice. Dr. Art graciously offered me a 2nd opinion, and so I decided to visit his office. Steroid injections for my pain and my sanity have already been approved by my primary physician however, I have not decided to take that route just yet. Upon my first visit with Dr. Art, his office is very clean, very professional and I felt very comfortable and welcomed. We began in the exam room and I will tell you, his initial Medical History intake, exam and x-rays were the most thorough I have ever experienced in 10 years from a Chiro, and I have been to PLENTY. I returned for my follow up "results" visit a couple of days later to review my x-rays, his exam findings and Dr. Art's plan for my recovery. Again, very thorough and transparent. I learned some new information about my crooked, deteriorated, bulged, bone spurred back and the reason for the excruciating pain that my physician had not revealed to me with a recent MRI. My physician downplayed my experience of pain and kind of left me feeling it was more in my head and residual scarring nerve damage from my accident. Dr. Art explained findings and his plan of treatment and what he believes he can do for me and I was like, okay... SIGN ME UP! I am working out my scheduling currently due to the distance and heavy work schedule, but I am very hopeful to see what help and relief he can provide for me. Just had to tell the staff at the office how happy I a with the results of their taking care of me. Brent and Ryan were wonderful in their different therapy techniques. I went in to see them because of tendinitis in the right arm and then a shoulder problem . I am now sleeping at night and not waking up when I roll over from the pain and being able to do other things without pain. they used several different techniques on me including ART Active release techniques, Muscle Stimulation, and laser Therapy which really zeroed in on the area needing help. The ice therapy always helped and they taught me to do some exercises at home as well as icing it at home also. they also have a super massage department. i went to Amelia. It started on a Sunday. The migraine of all migraines. It was on and off for days and I was averaging 4 hours of sleep a night. I knew I needed an intervention if I was going to lead the BNI meeting.
