My mom said she could feel the intense pressure as soon as the service began and was left with bruising all over her nose and cheeks afterwards. The aesthetician did not claim any responsibility for this and said it would clear up soon but her bruises are very apparent and painful, despite her telling them through the form and verbally that her skin is sensitive in certain areas.

What was even more concerning was the apparent lack of accountability afterward. Instead of demonstrating empathy, self-reflection, or growth, the response seemed dismissive and unapologetic. As consumers, we pay attention to how business owners treat people, especially other women. No one is required to be perfect, but respect, humility, and accountability should be the minimum standard. Speaking as though other women are beneath you or "not on your level" reflects a mindset that I do not wish to support with my time or money. There are too many businesses led by people who uplift others to spend my support on one that appears comfortable tearing them down. The standard should be better than this.
