A Harry Potter inspired coffee shop or something in that category I guess. I came out with a couple of huge HP fans that had me hyped about the place. As we walked in we were expecting a lot more but it seemed the shop was unfinished or they sold some of the props that made this shop visually appealing. So that there was a letdown and onto those drinks that were also a miss. So I ordered the love potion that I had high hopes for but did not deliver In flavor and they did not serve them in mugs even though there was a bunch of them just hanging in the back or maybe they just didn't want to clean the after. I'm sure the pandemic was an excuse before but please don't use that anymore. As far as the opinion my 2 HP fans had, we can all agree that the drink were a total letdown visually and in flavor. The names were really cool but that's the only thing that stood out to me about this shop and i think at least having some kind of logo on the to go cup would be at least pic worthy but not even that so that's the reason why no pic on that. The food was stale and unpleasant. You could taste that everything had been sitting out all morning. We ordered the egg sandwich, three croffles, and some drinks. The drinks were decent, but the croffles... they were super stale and hard--so hard that the plastic fork had trouble poking through. The egg sandwich tasted like it had been freshly microwaved, but it wasn't bad if you're hungry . The chips tasted like they'd been left out for about a week. I highly recommend NOT getting the croffles. I let the worker know, and he said they make them fresh, but it might be the same batch from the morning... If they know the croffles go stale, why are they selling them? It also seemed like he wasn't surprised, as if he already knew they were old. The atmosphere was a bit hot. There were people studying, and it was very quiet with no music, so eating there felt awkward because all you could hear was us eating. The table layout wasn't comfortable, and it wasn't a place that invited you to either study or eat. Overall, the experience was mostly negative. The service was basic. The worker did offer a refund for the croffles if I wasn't happy with the second batch. I wasn't, as they were microwaved and became hard within a couple of minutes, but I said it was fine. The food was really bad, and I wouldn't recommend it unless you're really hungry. The drinks were okay, though, so if you want ok coffee, this place is fine--but there are better options in the area. I'm giving 2 stars because the food was stale, the atmosphere was uncomfortable, but the service and drinks were okay. Just our experience. Hope this helps someone. read more

We were not very impressed with our visit to Platform 909. My wife and I got bagel sandwiches and both of us found hair in it. My wife ordered a cookie butter coffee and it had no flavor. The time it takes to get anything there is pretty long as well. I think the major draw is the Harry Potter theme they use to have and since changing that, it does become a little disappointing to go there wanting to see it. Maybe next time. read more

Give me all things butterbeer flavored lol. I've only tried their platform butterscotch milk tea which was non dairy and had boba. I originally asked with oat milk, but they emphasized the non dairy in the milk tea. So I gave it a shot, and I was fine given my usual lactose intol self. It was so delish! Just like butterbeer! And it only cost around $5 something. Not bad for a large drink! The decor is really cute inside too! The wait though, is a bit long, kind of backed up when I went. But prob waited 15 mins tops for my drink? It was kind of busy in the afternoon on a Thursday. I'm also a big HP fan and had been wanting to check this out for awhile now! This spot is beautiful! I'm a huge huge Harry Potter fan, so the first time I stepped into this shop was magical! The staff is kind and nice! The offer pastries but food isn't offered until they have a second person on staff . I've been here twice now, and both times the drinks fall flat. I'm definitely going to come again and keep trying the drinks though because maybe it's just the ones I happened to order, but looking through other reviews, it seems to be a common occurrence. I've visited this cafe many times. I used to really like coming here-- nice ambiance, super helpful and friendly staff-- but I feel that the quality of the drinks has gone down recently. I ordered a golden milk tea, and it was good, but not the same taste as I remembered. I also ordered two red velvet frappes for fellow co-workers, both of whom said their drinks were watered down. Another thing was that there were fragments of plastic at the bottom of their cups! They didn't notice this until they were about done with their drinks. We were all displeased at the thought of how much plastic they might've drank without realizing it. To the staff: Please check your equipment and cups before serving customers! SUCH A CUTE SPOT!! The decor and seating is immaculate. Stopped by on a Friday with some friends and the worker was really patient and nice. Their drinks are so pretty and they tasted okay. I got the Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso and it was pretty solid. My friend got their Pink Blossom Latte and it was too strong for their liking, and my other friend enjoyed their Strawberry Chacha. They also offer boba drinks and other foods which I didn't get the chance to try this time around. I'd say the parking in the area is a hit or miss, we got lucky with a spot up front. I came because of the Harry Potter theme. That ended up being a bust because the cafe was rebranded to just a normal cafe sans theming. The theme wasn't an issue as this still had subtle hints of it and a chill vibe. My issue came with the dry personality of the cashier and the lack of flavor in my coffee. I ordered a cold brew with salted cookie butter cold foam. The cold foam had no flavor at all. I don't even think you can call it cold foam because it sank to the bottom of the coffee before I even got to take a sip. What a waste of money. Took 2 sips and tossed it out at my next destination. We saw this place online and we had to check it out. This coffee shop is decorated Harry Potter theme with so many cool little details. We ordered the breakfast bagel which was loaded with cream cheese, spinach, eggs, and bacon it was very filling. The red velvet cheesecake had a little bit of a lemon flavor it was good. Our son had a milk tea boba and a chocolate croissant he gave it a 2 thumbs up. I had the platform specialty coffee it had a lite butterscotch flavor with oat milk and my husband had an iced latte both were good. They have a few tables outside were you can sit. This place is under new ownership when I went! Having just changed they're still trying to figure out the menu, however the service was superb! One thing I would suggest is asking to adjust the sweetness of the drinks. I forgot to and my drink was overly sweet for my liking. The crepe cake was also a must try! I walked in on a cloudy day trying to find a place to study. I had this location on my list for a while as a Harry Potter fan It was great! They provided wifi and the shop is spacious. A little dark but if you sit by the windows, you get some great natural light. Cute restaurant with reasonably priced good food and amicable service. We did a mothers brunch here and everyone was able to find something to eat on the menu. I had a chicken panini and would order again. There are some places that make paninis greasy or heavy- I found the panini to be light yet hearty here. The panini came with nacho cheese dip and chips- nice touch! Others ordered the new ricotta avocado toast and croissants and they liked it. I'm not a coffee drinker but we had a coffee connoisseur in our group and she liked the coffee here so much she asked if she could purchase a bag of the beans to take home. The desserts were excellent. Most desserts I find to be overly sweet and rich- everything we had here had just the right amount of sweetness. This was such a cool place and I'm not sure how long they've been in business, but I'm mad I barely found out about it LOL. This Harry Potter themed cafe is so cool. It's definitely themed, but I think the decor could be stepped up even more for the fun part of it! The drinks were good, especially the love potion and black lake themed drinks. I didn't try the food, but it looks really good. They have a cute neon sign, which is fun for pictures! The one issue we had while spending some time there was that it took quite some time to get our drinks. It's not normal to wait 30ish minutes for just a couple of drinks, so that was kind of a bummer and especially so if someone is stopping by very quickly to pick up their drink. This was a Harry Potter Fan delight location. On a recent stop all Hogwart house banners and theme nameD drink were removed. Someone call them and due to copyright infringement had to pull everything. There is still a wizard feel with decor and drinks are awesome. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors to enjoy your beverage and do a little remote work. I have had the golden snitch on prior visit but went with love potion this trip. Friendly service, Harry Potter-themed ambiance (apparently a remnant of what it used to be) and yummy drinks! Came here on a random Saturday afternoon to study, and the staff was friendly. They have nice big tables with some outlets (not a large number, but good enough). Music is a little loud compared to some other places I've been, but this is easily fixed with noise cancelling headphones or sitting towards the back away from the speaker. My honey milk tea was flavorful, but quite sweet for 70%, and my friends drinks (golden milk latte and red velvet coffee) were also pretty sweet. There wasn't anything in the display case and I was told they had run out of food. Would definitely come back to try some things I didn't get to (their coffees/fraps and popcorn chicken), but not sure which days they have food and which days they don't. read more

A disappointing experience. I came here with my friends last weekend for brunch/lunch and I was truly excited to check out this cute cafe in Chino Hills. The decor was nice, but nothing about it really screamed Harry Potter. I started with an unsweetened iced tea, it was decent, though I'd imagine it's hard to mess that up. I also ordered an avocado toast, which was just okay, it was lacking salt. The side of tortilla chips and cold nacho cheese sauce that came with it was an ...interesting touch. My friend ordered a sweetened green tea drink and mochi waffles with ice cream on top. She said the drink was "whatever" liked the waffles quite a bit. She gave them an 8/10, citing the flavor and texture. I tried a piece of her waffle and I agree, it was good. My other friend ordered the red velvet latte and a pesto sandwich (a panini I believe?) When he first received the latte he wasn't happy with it and thought it was lacking flavor.I tried it and agreed, it literally was just milk with a weird flavor in the background. He ended up going to the counter and asking them to add some vanilla simple syrup. He satisfied with the taste after that. He was happy with the sandwich though and also gave it an 8/10, though we all cackled at the tortilla chips and cold nacho cheese lol. Our food took quite a while to come out, around 30-40mins. The service was okay, one girl was nicer than another. Also, don't come here expecting to be immersed in a fun, thematic HO themed cafe. You will be disappointed. read more

Very warm inside with plenty of tables and few outlets good for studying, eating, or meeting with others. 2-3 outdoor tables were available as well. My friends and I visited from 10:00-12:45 on a Monday, and it was quite busy with people waiting to order & pick up their drinks. There were only 2 baristas working outside trying to keep up with orders, so I decided to wait until the rush subsided to order my coffee. My friends got the butterscotch latte (which is the platform special, similar to the Universal Studio's butter beer), and they said that it was pretty good! Prices are moderate with the average speciality latte ranging $4.75, along with $0.75 soy & $1 oat alternative. I got a vanilla/lavender syrup sweetener, but I personally didn't love the lavender flavor here as it was a bit strong/bitter. They also serve boba & food but I didn't order. Good place to study, not too loud, & they were playing great music including Steve Lacey! :) **note: my friend & I both got quite jittery after only having a little bit of our drinks.
