I tried to call ahead and get a quote, describing my ring band and downsize, and they refused to provide any answers over the phone and insisted I come in for an appointment, which is already inconvenient because they are open limited hours and it is hard to get there during work hours. Once inside, I was simply asked what size I wanted when I was clearly undecided and looking to their experience for guidance. It felt as if they were making me choose an item from a food menu rather than a personalized experience with my custom ring. Once I made a final decision, they still did not quote me for the resize and told me they would call later. Then they held my engagement ring for over five days. No body contacted me until I called to ask about it, then they told me it would cost $100 and that I wouldn't get my ring back until 7 additional days later for the resize. For reference this was for a half size down on a platinum band with no other embellishments. I asked why it was $100 when multiple sources online and quotes from local jewelers told me it should cost around $65-85. They had no explanation other than that this was the set quote from the sourcer they trust. I ended up taking my ring back, going to another local jeweler, getting a better quote with a more personalized experience, and got my ring resized in perfect condition within 3 days. I was a little put off by Lindsey Leigh, especially when they are vague about prices, options, and timelines with no explanation. Again I love my ring now, but for the resizing process, it was night and day between the other jeweler I found.

Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and left us feeling unwelcome and judged. When we walked into the store, we were not greeted warmly. The first employe, a thin blonde late 20s early 30s, seemed hesitant to assist us and quickly passed us off to another salesperson. From the start, the second associate's, middle aged brunette, demeanor was cold and uninviting. Her first questions were, "Why are you here?" and "Who invited you?" rather than welcoming us or asking how she could help. She then took us to the customized wedding band display area. Instead of showing us any rings, she repeatedly asked what we were looking for and immediately stated that the lowest-priced options were around $2,000 plus diamonds. She asked about our budget, and when we told her it was $5,000, we were already felt turned off by her attitude and the impression that she had made assumptions about what we could or could not afford. Despite discussing our interest in wedding bands, she never once offered to open the display case or show us any of the rings in person. What made this experience even more frustrating is that my fiancé specifically designed my engagement ring at this Helzberg location, and many of the regular sales associates know him and have always treated us well. At that point, we decided not to continue shopping and simply requested a cleaning for my engagement ring. After I removed my ring and handed it to her, she complimented it and suddenly became interested in showing us wedding bands. She began pulling out rings and trying to sell us options--but only after seeing the engagement ring I was wearing. This behavior felt incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. We should have been treated with the same level of courtesy and attention from the moment we walked in, regardless of what we were wearing or what assumptions were made about our spending ability. Being ignored, judged, and then treated differently after revealing my engagement ring was completely unacceptable. We came in excited to create a wedding band and celebrate an important milestone. Instead, we left feeling undervalued and disappointed. I hope management addresses this issue so future customers are welcomed and treated with respect from the very beginning.
