Play playground was lots of fun. I perchases the family bundle and was able to go with my kids. They allow children's from 13 and up from 12-7 check the days you can take the kids. My girls had lost of fun. Zack at the front desk was very helpful. The girls were also very sweet with my girls. Helping them when they needed it. Our favorite game was the doctors. And the one that you spin. We had a blast. They mainly only had drinks no main food. Would definitely do it again when we are back in town. read more

I went to Play Playground for a work event and thought it was just okay. I like the concept and tried several games (Red Light, Balance Beam, Perfection), but it felt like there weren't enough activities since some of the games took up a lot of space. The specialty cocktails were overly sweet for my taste, but the staff was very friendly and helpful, which made the experience better. read more

2 stars go to this joint being super visually appealing, having several fun photo ops, and the employees having positive attitudes. However, the overall experience at Play Playground was incredibly underwhelming to put it lightly. I came to celebrate my birthday with my husband and was totally pumped to be there. There was an option for unlimited play for double the price, but we weren't sure what to expect so we went with the standard option. We paid just over $100 for both of us to play each game once. Cool. We were okay with that and excited. The games themselves were cool and fun to play. My issue, and were they totally lost me was the instructions only being a brief sentence or two describing the objective of the game. What it doesn't do, is actually show you how to operate the machines themselves. For example, there is a Bop It style game with 6 or 7 different action objects (twist it, plunge it, stomp it, etc). They do not take the time in the instructions to quickly tell you which action phrase is associated with which action object. This means you have to figure it out during your 90ish second gameplay, and you can be eliminated for not doing it quickly enough. Disappointing 90 seconds, huh? Most people likely already know the objective of the games. That is the draw that got people to the door. Knowing how to work the machines to have a chance at succeeding in the game is what is crucial to guests having a good time, feeling valid in their ticket purchase, and wanting to return in the future. I obviously know how to play the games now, but no one should have to spend $100 to essentially take a crash course in Play Playground. I understand they need to get as many people through the games as they can with the time provided, but the lack of direction absolutely sucked the potential for fun out of many of the activities. We played every game in about 30 minutes, and it just felt like a terrible waste of money in the end. We left very disappointed and definitely would not recommend this experience to anyone else visiting Nashville or locals until they make some changes. Solution suggestions so customers may get the most out of their experience: -Create 5-10 second videos to go with the existing instructions demonstrating visually how to play each game (enter answers, place tiles, etc.) -Put demo videos of each game on Play Playground socials or YouTube so people can check them out beforehand. -Have a team member at each game that explains prior to folks beginning if they haven't played before. read more

The only reason this review is getting 3 instead of 0 is because of our AMAZING bartender. The venue is super fun and the drinks are amazing. The DJ was also great. With all of this said, I and friends made our way to the rooftop where our bartender made our night with her personality and professionalism. The bad review part - it was FREEZING (November 9th). I'm talking Gail Force freezing winds. Our bartender was clearly flirting with hyperthmia. We asked her why she wasn't putting her jacket on and she smiled kindly and explained it wasn't in her dresscode. Owners/ management do NOT take care of their crew. We BEGGED another worker to let us buy a jacket for our bartender and they confirmed that couldn't happen. ZERO STARS FOR OWNERSHIP. 100000 stars for Caitlin our bartender. read more

This is where I picked for my small Birthday get together so when I called to make reservations I couldn't get any answer so I filled out the form online and the communication was horrible. I purchased tickets online myself because I couldn't wait for them to respond any longer time was ticking. We get there and I have no idea I had to go through so much just to get the tickets. I paid $477.00 for 6 people I ended up having only 4 people and they wouldn't refund me for the 2. I was going to purchase the $99 smash cake and they tell me they had no cake. I asked for sprite and she gives me carbonated water I say the sprite is out and 2 hours later she still brings me carbonated water. The seating I know is 1st come 1st serve but when you schedule packages for parties or events I'd appreciate having enough tables for every event because people will put their belongings at the tables there are only 2 nice tables and keep them all night. Everything is way over priced and only a few games. I will say their food was oh so good but that's the only thing. Birthday was ruined needless to say. read more

Food was okay, but took an eternity to get chips and salsa. Had a coupon with the VIP pass, but a manager needs to authorize it through the system. Waited 45 minutes and still no manager. We arrived early afternoonish, and the place didn't seem slammed. The games were busy for sure, but the bars were empty on each floor for the most part. I got the VIP pass thinking that there would be a ton of perks and I know it would probably my first and last time visiting (up from FL for a friends bday bash). The regular ticket would probably suffice in the future. Roof top bar doesn't have enough shade, and the portable fans that were on the roof top were eventually unplugged and moved downstairs/inside. We came for our first time on Sunday, during family friendly hours for a birthday party. While it is a nice laid back environment, and we enjoyed the games and bowling, bar service was decent I found it particularly odd and very inconvenient that a place boasting children friendly hours and family friendly hours, that there is not any changing stations in the bathrooms. That is a bit behind the times to not offer, and like I said, a huge inconvenience when you bring family during family friendly times, to repeatedly have to trek back and forth to and from our vehicles to change diapers on the busy street. Had this specifically been an adults only establishment ALL of the time, I wouldn't gripe about it. But when people are specifically coming with families to an establishment that boasts family friendly times, it is generally assumed that there is at least 1 changing station in the bathroom. The large/handicap stalls had more than enough room to have one installed in. read more

As much fun that me and my friend had, it should have lockers, it should have been a time allocated ticket and you should have like a map of the experience and also for your own name to be on the card/leader board, it's weird as you don't know your allotted name!.
