The bartender Angela had her friends there and she felt very ballsy while intoxicated herself in the clock. Had me kicked out while an employee named Tony was intoxicated all I asked was if he was ok to drive. She had her masculine friend trying to be "security" when I've never even seen her around state that she works at Players. The securities "son" called me a bitch! So when I called him a bitch Angela decided to close my tab and kick me out. When Angela was in the wrong! I will never come back here again when employees such as Angela has her "friends" trying to fight a customer while INTOXICATED herself. You shouldn't be drinking on the job & she had the nerve to say "I know your sister but I don't know you" if Angela is serving drinks to her employee and he can no longer handle he's drinks why make a scene in the middle of everything when you as a Bartender keep serving your employee a drink? Angela also told me "I'm just just telling you so you don't get your ass beat". She's picking her fights using her "friends" as all of a sudden "employees" @ the back door "securities". Even if it were to be the "securities" then Angela shoulda let them handle the situation & her get back to work but no she didn't. What a joke. read more

I've been a regular at Players and usually enjoy the atmosphere, but after my recent experience I'm really disappointed. On a previous visit I had trouble ordering drinks from the bartender Sil. After waiting and feeling ignored, I left and came back later around 1:15 AM. I tried to order again at about 1:20 AM but was told no because they had stopped serving early. I voiced my frustration at the time but remained respectful. When I returned a few days later the bartender Sil informed me she would no longer serve me, clearly retaliating because I had previously spoken up about poor service. This was not only unprofessional but completely unfair. I believe customers should be treated with respect even when they offer honest feedback. Unfortunately, after years of coming here this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. Players needs to ensure all customers are treated fairly and that personal relationships or feelings don't interfere with the basic expectation of good service. Players is a great place to be if you want good times good friends and great bartenders its probably the cleanest bar in the IE. 6 pool tables free pool till 7pm.. happy hour m-f 5 to7pm dollar off everything...awesome cook wonderful customers well were more like family instead of just customers...players has been recently painted.. they have new carpet...so now on to chris m's review I've been going to players for years never seen any badass fights.. or any fights at all as a matter of fact .. and when did women taking shots of Jack in their pajamas become a bad thing.. Don't go here unless you're looking for trouble! I went to this bar a handful of times. First time I was thinking maybe just an odd crowd that night but every time I've gone, there is something else going on. The bartenders are rude AF and if your not a regular they will make you wait forever for a drink. Always gang members and bikers here with weapons and people doing cocaine in the bathrooms. Bar tenders constantly going out to smoke cigarettes and weed right outside the front door and the smell come in. The floors are never cleaned it's sticky and gross. No ventilation or windows. This is THEE definition of a dirty biker bar! Rowdy crowds after 10pm (so bring your mace) I've witnessed several bloody fights/physical altercations, not only between the customers but the OWNER HERSELF! Drinks are stiff and cheap but rumor has it that they're losing their liquor license as of August 16th 2011. "I'll take an O'douls please!" I have came here for long time here and there! This places is freaking worse and worse. Sometimes you will see the heavy set woman with the red hair that the owner. Most the time I see her she is drunk dancing around like she is 300lb swim suit model. No even close to a model. she should be worried about other things. Bartender are pretty decent. Worst bar in Ontario! Filthy little whole in the wall dive bar with overpriced drinks served by overpaid uneducated ugly rude bartenders. Old filthy tables. Wobbly bar stools. Filthy walls and carpet. Pool tables are uneven and broken half the time. And someone hit my car door leaving a huge dent and bartender refused to check the cameras. Never going back. This bar is amazing I love it here. Lots of pool tables the bartenders are lovely I believe her name was kisty or Chrissee or something like that. Another time it was a woman named barb. Well they're both great and fun. Definitely good prices and good times! read more

This bar has been remodeled and looks really great and is fully open selling alcohol! They did not lose their license. Great bartenders, cheap drinks, good food and a fun atmosphere. Lots of pool tables and a great jukebox. Love it. read more
