We were seated shortly after and, of course, ordered another. (Both times, I took several sips before remembering to take a photo!) Our waitress, Mikela, was truly lovely--sincere, sweet, and very courteous. She was attentive throughout the meal without ever being intrusive, which made the experience feel relaxed and effortless. At the end, I told her I wished I could give her 6 stars, but Yelp only allows 5. For dinner, we both ordered the seared rare ahi tuna steak. I had mine with garlic bread, while my husband chose mashed potatoes. I also added the $9.95 salad buffet, which is such a great deal--you definitely won't leave hungry. I especially love their buffet-style salad bar, which offers nearly every option one could want. Both of our ahi tuna steaks were fantastic--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Once again, I dug into my tuna before remembering to take a photo! We finished the meal with a cheesecake to share--another delicious ending to a wonderful dinner. I kept saying to myself if people come to my city and give it the reputation that we have of being snobby then I see why because this would never be allowed in a restaurant in my hometown. At any rate, this is the best lobster bisque I've ever had in my life. I really enjoyed it. I got the plate where it was stuffed. I thought it was just OK but I was just eating something I don't normally try.My partner got steak frites which he also really enjoyed. I love the way the vegetables were cooked. There's a large variety and they even have mocktails. You can tell that the owners put creativity and thought into the drinks. They also have a food menu (snacks and small appetizers only) but we didn't get to try anything because it's only available until 10pm. Service was great. Bartenders are friendly and put a lot of love and effort into making your drinks. We ordered a margarita and a dark n' stormy (dark rum, lime, ginger beer).
