I have had a 100% good experience with Plessers. Lindsey Coughlin the Plesser's sales associate ordered the exact JennAir gas cooktop that I wanted. The order was processed quickly and shipped from a second party the following week. The cooktop arrived in timely fashion and in good condition. There was a slight problem with the control knobs and I alerted Lindsey to this and she responded immediately to assist. Finally, Pressers pricing is competitive. I would say this place probably does well if you are local and buying in the store. But, they have no business selling country-wide. Their policy of charging 30% restocking fee and have the customer pay for return shipping is just plain usurious. It cost me $750 to do business with Plessers and I have nothing to show for it. At the end, calls to customer service get passed around to employees who "are not in right now". No return calls are made. What a shame. Unless your order is delivered and goes perfectly, you will find yourself feeling cheated. read more

I needed a new range and the delivery in CT was going to be time-pressured. I had questions so an online purchase with a company in NY didn't work for me, I wanted to talk to a human. As soon as I was connected with Meghan Finning at Plesser's I knew I was in good hands. She wasn't in a rush to make a sale, instead she patiently listened to my circumstances and competently answered all my questions about the range, costs, delivery, and made excellent suggestions. Meghan talked me through the entire process, even telling me what emails I would receive following the purchase and that she would expedite the delivery. So far everything has proceeded exactly as she said it would. I trust delivery day will be the same. It's so rare now to get a salesperson who is knowledgeable about their products, has empathy for your situation, and who has your best interest at heart. When I agreed to purchase our new fridge from Plesser's, it was because they said it would ship out that day. This led me to think that it would be delivered soon. Perhaps the following week. No. In total, it seems it will take 3 weeks. This is also what GE told me, which is why I didn't purchase it from GE. Then when I called Plesser's yesterday to inquire about the whereabouts of our fridge, they said they'd called GE and it would be delivered around January 13. If this is the case, I should've just bought the fridge from GE. I apparently don't need a middle man. I can't help feel this is a bait and switch. I give 3 stars with hesitation. Depending on how this plays out, they're either keeping 3 stars or getting 1. I'm sorely disappointed and feel manipulated. read more

I needed a new 28,000 BTU in wall AC with a heat pump as well. Emily (from the East end location) is incredible in terms of customer service. She answered all questions, did research, problem solved and was extremely flexible and responsive in helping arrive to a place where we closed a deal in 24 hours and have a scheduled install date for June 27th. I highly recommend Plesser's for any and all your HVAC needs. Their competitors sell the same product brands, but it was only Plesser's who also offered an install. SpeedQueen Gas Dryer was delivered on 6/24/26 with a broken ignitor. Customer Support at Plesser's convinced me should be an easy fix and they would schedule a tech to repair. Rather than refuse the shipment and have my old dryer (that was still working just having some issues so we had opted to replace/upgrade)re-installed, I consented. First available appt a week later. Part had to be ordered. Back and forth FINALLY had a working dryer JULY 31ST, 2026. Plesser's credited me back $150 which basically covered the install fee I had paid, so ridiculously small offer for the price of this dryer! (which was the only reason I had a quick choice to keep or not--obviously ignorant that they had NO PULL on getting SpeedQueen parts in a timely manner--so my bad! Will never make that mistake again and neither should you! Don't believe they can get anything that presents broken fixed. REFUSE the product!) Customer Support has absolutely terrible communication skills and made promises about communication they did not provide. I used a clothesline in my backyard for over a month of Plesser's having my $1700. Learn from me. Shop elsewhere. I have all the email/receipts on this fiasco if anyone tries to remove this review. read more

The agent who took my telephone order for a double wall oven (Emily) was friendly and efficient. The process of cancelling my order was handled expeditiously. I cancelled the order because Emily added "delivery and installation" to the price and we talked about the reliability of the installer, but she failed to tell me that installation did not include any cabinet or electrical modifications to get the new oven installed. I found this out only by happenstance in talking to the installer about a delivery date. According to the installer, if any cabinet or electrical work will be necessary, the oven is left in your garage and you are on your own. I cancelled the order immediately. I would not use Plessrer's again unless the appliance required no installation modifications, such as a washer / dryer. read more
