Really impressed with Plessers. My wife and I were about to hire a local company and decided to price compare at plessers. Not only was plessers cheaper, much cheaper, but our representative (stephen) caught errors on our quote from the local appliance store!! We had a large purchase and he stated up front it may be 4-6 weeks for delivery and he was right on at around 5 or 6 weeks to get to us. Really appreciate all the time and effort our rep. Spent with us. Hours on the phone and by email. To update post delivery, we have a warranty with plessers and plessers has been there 100% for the minor issues we've had. Very impressed, for a company that can perform better than our local store. Customer service still prevails in this economy. Will purchase from again and recommend no question about it. Plesser's itself is fine, but the problem is they are contracting with a really bad delivery service, "AM Home Delivery". I was out of town and my husband was in the shower for 5 minutes at 8:00am when they showed up. They could not have rang the bell more than once. They charge a re-delivery fee of $125.00!!! I have never heard of something like this in Texas. Plesser's would help itself out greatly by changing their delivery contract. I called them about this and they were very nice and said they would split the re-delivery charge with me, but, only because of that delivery service, I won't do business here again. read more

Couldn't beat the price. Delivery miscommunication resulting in appliance coming directly to me before kitchen renovation was finished. Sent to Plesser's local warehouse and then delivered on agreed date but with a dent in one freezer door. LG agreed to replace the dented door but the process to do so became long and tedious. LG shipped the wrong door twice. On the third attempt, the package was assumed lost due to wild fires in CA, the originating location. The correct door finally arrived weeks later than the stated delivery date and was installed by LG technician successfully. Plesser's customer service representative provided excellent follow-up throughout the process and advocated with LG several times on my behalf. All is well that ends well. read more

Had the worst experience with Plessers And would not recommend them to anyone. We are redoing our kitchen and ordered refrigerator, stove, microwave And dishwasher. Upon deliver we noticed a softball size dent on the range top so the delivery guys took it back. Called customer service to schedule another delivery and had the second stove delivered with the frame dented which caused the draw to fall out. Frustrated we called customer service again and they were apologetic offered us a refund of the delivery charge so we decided to give them another chance. The third stove arrived today with a big crack on the corner after they assured us that it would be inspected before it left the warehouse. Talk to customer service manager who should've been ready to offer me something but instead asked what I wanted as compensation. Then proceeded to tell me I would have to wait until Saturday for a new one. The kicker is that we were the last delivery of the day today. You would think they would have delivered it first with all the aggravation. Needless to say I cancelled the order and will never deal with them again. read more

I live in Arizona and bought a wall mount electric fireplace from Plessers via the Internet primarily because it was about 5% cheaper than Amazon and some of the other vendors I researched online and curbside delivery was free. The day after my order was placed, i received an order confirmation and invoice with a note indicating that delivery would be within 2 - 3 weeks. Two days later (that same week), I received a call from Jennifer to let me know that our fireplace would be shipping the next day and she reviewed my order with me. She also explained all the delivery options available, including their GOLD delivery service in which they would bring the appliance into our house and open the package to verify that everything was OK before he left. Although that pretty much coast me the 5% that I thought I was saving over the other vendors, I decided to add that service. The shipping company called me on the Monday the following week later to confirm they had our delivery and would have it in AZ on Wednesday. They scheduled a delivery date that fit my schedule. When the appliance arrived, the delivery person opened the box. Unfortunately, the non-tempered glass on the fireplace was completely shattered in the box. I tried to refuse the delivery and request that the shipper take the package back, per the contract terms explained to me, but he refused to take it because we didn't have a shipping order for him and he left . I contacted Jennifer and she immediately called the shipping company and arranged for them to come back to pickup the broken fireplace. The driver was back within an hour. Jennifer and Jessica (from their customer service department) then gave me the option to get a replacement item shipped or cancel the order. I told them i wanted a replacement shipped and they had a new one delivered to me (in perfect condition) within a week at no additional charge. In the end, I received my fireplace within 3.5 weeks of my initial order date despite the need to send a replacement. Jennifer and Jessica were very professional and responsive, while resolving my issues within minutes. Based on my experience, I'd certainly buy from them again AND would highly recommend you buy the GOLD delivery service. read more

I wanted to write and commend you on one of your Customer Service representatives, Ms. Mary Buckley. She is responsible for turning a negative situation into a positive experience. We had our 36" DCS stove delivered on March 12, 2013 and upon installation the installer Kyle (another fine representation for Plesser's), noted a damaged broiler ignition box. He reported it to the main office and we received a phone call that day from Mary informing us that she contacted DCS and a technician would be out to my home the next day! He came and replaced the part.....and ordered some additional parts that he felt needed attention. Unfortunately, it took three more visits over the last two months to finally get our broiler working correctly. However, Mary's tenacity in staying on top of the situation and keeping me informed on a weekly basis were incredible. I felt I was in good hands, my problem was not being dismissed, and she would stay "on it" until I was completely satisfied. I live about 40 minutes away from Plesser's and specifically made the decision to purchase my high-end stove there because after visiting many of the "box" stores, I found Plesser's store layout, appearance and selections were above average. I also got the impression from my first visit that I would be receiving the kind of "old fashioned" hands-on attention and service you don't experience in today's marketplace any more. I was not disappointed and I would have no problem going back or recommending them to family and friends.....in spite of the problems with my DCS stove. Mary Buckley had a great deal to do with that. The stove has been working properly now for about a week and I am keeping my fingers crossed.....but I am also confident that if the problem returns, Mary will be my advocate in rectifying it.....Thank You Plessers. Contacted Plessers, ordered a refrigerator and a range. The experience with Plessers was 5 stars, however the experience with AM trucking was 2 stars. Promised delivery on March 24 12-4, then AM called changed to 2pm-6pm. Never showed up and never called. I contact Plessers customer service and spoke to Karin. she deserves the 5 star award with this situation. She immediately contacted their representative at AM since after several attempts and waiting on hold for over 30 minutes each time, I had to contact Plessers to find out what the cause of delay was and why no courtesy call advising us no delivery would take place. Karin contacted her rep and we were able to set another appointment which was agreeable to the warehouse manager and us. That was not easy, but Karin went above and beyond to reach the warehouse manager for delivery convenient for us not for them. (We would still be waiting) All merchandise received was perfect. The only other issue is that the delivery people left the empty cartons in a condominium parking lot without taking the carton or even asking us where to place them. Of course, we had a knock at the door from the Property Manager who was not happy. My wife and I found Plessers on the Internet via Google. We purchased $15,000.00 worth of appliances for a new kitchen. Had to deal with a service coordinator Maria Aparicio about a problem and was immediately handled. Then my contractor who waited for 6 weeks to install the RANGE HOOD. It was 6 weeks late. When they went to install it, all installation hardware and instructions were not packed into the unit. This was an $1,800.00 purchase. My contractor went and found one elsewhere and installed it Next I called to return this unit, PLESSORS REFUSED TO ACCEPT A RETURN. Even though the unit was SHIPPED INCOMPLETE. Their policy is NO RETURNS NO MATTER WHAT. I AM HAVING TO EAT $1,800.00 because THEY SHIPPED THE UNIT LATE AND INCOMPLETE. read more

Ordered a high-end LG refrigerator, and a gas stove. The refrigerator was not in stock, and therefore it took 2 months to arrive (more on that order below), but the stove was in stock and arrived as promised (even a few days early). The third party shipping company was pretty basic, but the delivery itself was professional and well done. OK, so the delayed fridge... turns out it was an LG inventory issue. The same model was carried through a local appliance store, but when I checked on their availability, they also claimed a very long delay from LG. What made the interaction with Plessers so positive, was that the customer support person I was dealing with was amazing! She proactively called LG each week for a status, and then contacted me with an update. I didn't need to call to check, she called me. Although the delay was frustrating, her proactive communications made a huge difference, and gave me confidence that my order was not being forgotten. Great experience buying our new fridge from Plessers Appliances with the help of Jennifer. When our old fridge started to leak we knew it was time to replace it with a new model. Since it was a built-in we knew that it would not be cheap to replace. After searching online I discovered that Plessers had the best prices by FAR and offered an amazing extended warranty to boot! I was a tad apprehensive as the old saying "too good to be true" kept running through my mind. So, I placed a call and to my surprise I immediately got to speak to an actual person (the all knowing Jennifer) who helped confirm the prices were legit and there was no bait and switch involved. After selecting the fridge, and upgrading to a 10 year parts & labor warranty, I placed my order. It did take several weeks for the fridge to ship out and when we received it there was a slight snafu with the delivery. Steer clear from this company. Ordered a fridge. Spoke with customer service before ordering about length of time to receive. The rep was wonderful and helpful. I was told my fridge was in stock, he put it on hold, and it would be a week to process the order, a week to ship. One month. One month is what it actually was. No call. No explanation. No apology. Nothing. Called customer service and emailed them on social media. Nothing. The call was met with a flippant, "Well let's move forward". No acknowledgement of their misrepresentation, no effort to solve the problem. Essentially just a "get over it" and "you'll get it when you get it". (They did not use those words but that's what I heard with the flippant attitudes and the zero response from social media account) Fast forward to delivery. The one positive thing I will say is the fridge arrived in perfect shape. However, the delivery company left the huge fridge box and ALL THE PACKING TRASH in our front drive. We didn't know and didn't find it until next day after it rained all night. Just assumed every moving company would take the trash since they always have before. Wrong. It's so much trash I can't even fit it in my can. So will take me two weeks to get out. Thanks, a-holes. The grand finale to what was already craptastic service. We recently upgraded our appliances to stainless steel with our kitchen remodel. I found Plesser's Appliances online but like to shop local. We picked out everything we wanted then went to our local appliance store that is really great, to compare prices and look at the appliances in person. When we tallied up what it would cost us to buy local it was going to be at least $2000 more to buy at home. I made contact with Plesser's and was greeted by Jennifer O'brien via the phone. She helped me put my order together, very willing to answer my questions as I was concerned about buying my appliances that were all the way across the US. She was amazing to work with, communication was absolutely outstanding. Had me check and re-check my order to insure everything was correct. Prices fluctuated on the appliances and she made sure I had the lowest price offered. Set me up with financing which was really great 0% for 12 months as long as we made payments and paid it all off. We ended up ordering 5 appliances. I would have given them 5 stars but the shipping was so slow, we had to wait almost 6 weeks and it was not Plesser's fault, but one item was damaged in freight which they replaced trouble free. I also was given rebates for my appliance purchase that I set aside in my paperwork and did not read fully. I waited for my appliances to be delivered because I thought I needed the serial numbers for the rebates and by the time I filled out the paperwork it was too late to collect, it clearly stated on the back of the rebate to submit the rebate online even if you did not have your appliances. I wish they would have made sure I understood that. It was a huge bummer, as it was a large savings. I had repeated follow up phone calls from Dominique after waiting again for the damaged appliance to be replaced, making sure everything was satisfactory and that we were happy with our purchases. The communication from Plesser's during our purchase was the best. I would highly recommend them. With all large companies that deal in high volume there is always going to be that few that end up with problems and leave negative reviews. I worked with Dominique Eckstein on an exchange for a product damaged in shipping and she kept me updated so well I didn't have to work to stay on top of timing of the new delivery. she even called after it was supposed to be delivered to ensure that the delivery actually occurred and there were no glitches. I ordered a appliance yesterday I call today and talked to a not so knowledgeable person Barry about adding the warranty he should have seen it was a web order but neglected to look so I gave him my credit card number and it declined so I thought it was my bank but I did a three way call with bank and Barry but nothing the bank told him it was on his end once he was told that I guess a light bulb turned on and looked at his connections once he did I guess all the times he placed the credit card through it all went to my bank as approved not one person in the company looked no receipt I told them I am on a ship and this is urgent and I am on a time crouch what a poor experience If u have a website u need to stay open later for the west of the country to have issues fixed man I think we will not be doing business and mite canax order I hope Alan I guess the owner calls my cell asap to tomarrow if he wants to keep the sale read more

We are in LA and had to deal with them long distance. it was nothing but aggravation. Our contractor recommended them because they had a Jennair downdraft stove we needed for a huge savings. We figured we would save by buying our other appliances: fridge, microwave, then we added a dryer at the last minute. First it took over a month longer than they promised. They told us that they had been waiting for the microwave. Of course they didn't inform us probably because they didn't want to have to do two separate deliveries. Although the delivery is free, we chose to pay extra for white glove trucking service. We're glad we did because they are supposed to open the box and wait until you check it. Well, first the delivery guy refused and said he "didn't have a boxcutter!" After arguing with him for 10 minutes, I called my contractor. As soon as I did that suddenly the other mover came up with one. (Honestly I don't think he would havek) Good thing it was checked as dryer was damaged so they had to take it back. Of course they had already charged my card and it took weeks to get another one. This time they delivered it without any notice and left it on the front lawn! Eventually our contractor got them to refund the $40 white glove special moving fee and give us $100 back. Now a few months later the dryer is already broken. Fortunately it is still under warranty because I would hate to ever have to deal with Plessers again. Maybe it's different if you're local.... read more

My first purchase with Plessers was as good as it gets. I was not present when the appliances were delivered and installed. When I did arrive at the location, and I removed from the dishwasher the protective plastic, the door had creases in it, all the other pieces were perfect. I was afraid that with the two week delay in discovering the blemish, I would have a problem getting a replacement door. I was pleasantly surprised when that couldn't have been further from correct, customer service at Plessers is second to none, Laury assured me that my satisfaction was their only concern, and in a very timely manner my issue was resolved. Originally I was pleased to find Plessers during an online search. When I called, the salesman Gene, was very laid back. Not pushy. And they have a great selection. However they do not keep things stocked. When I placed the order Gene told me 3-5 days for delivery from when I called to schedule the delivery, which reassured me as I did not know yet when my kitchen contractor would be ready to receive the appliances for my renovation. Apparently the 3-5 days was incorrect. When I called to arrange delivery their customer service department (Bryan) told me it is normally 5-6 weeks. They hustled to get me 2 of the 4 appliances I ordered (2-3 weeks later), but I am still waiting on the remaining 2 (now it's about 10 weeks later). My kitchen renovation is completely stalled waiting on the appliances. They claim one of their suppliers has my item on backorder. They never informed me of it being on backorder till I complained about the lack of delivery. Also, they take a deposit from you the day you order. I thought the deposit would cause them to get the appliance from their supplier. But apparently they wait till you call for delivery, and THEN they check with their supplier. So I am not sure what the deposit is for. I think if you are only ordering one appliance to upgrade or replace an appliance, then you will be fine. But if you are doing a full kitchen install where timelines are critical, then I suggest you find a local store that will care about your satisfaction and communicate better with you. read more
