Finding a good spot for sandwiches is hard especially since my husband is a former "sandwich…read moreartist" from his college days, lol. But after an intense Costco trip, we were wanting a hearty sandwich. They are located in a strip mall, where they are many other busy businesses so parking can be a little tough. But going in, they were packed! Tip to tail, it was just people trying to get their food. And, that was us waiting a while to come in to pick up our goods. So, absolutely order ahead because it will make it somewhat easier. We ordered: The JD Cold Shoulder - cold cuts on a garlic roll with chipotle ranch. My husband loved his, and glad he ordered it with the garlic roll. Joe's Spicy Italian - this was spicy and sweet, and it really hits when you love a good spicy italian sandwich. You can choose your bread, and I opted for mine to be on a French roll. Great sandwiches, long wait, but just really good and worth the wait!

My friend and I both got the "Surprise me" sandwich, where they create their own sandwich for you on the spot. The staff were incredibly welcoming and brought us our sandwiches when they were ready (pretty quick too!). They graciously made us a cold and hot sandwich and split them half and half so we could both try them. Super flavorful and full of meat! I will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Quick service, great staff and delicious food…read more I was craving a sandwich, so i stopped by here heading back to the office. The menu is plentiful and has so many different sandwich, and salad options to choose from. I was contemplating between the chicken bacon ranch wrap and the Cubano. I opted to get the cubano. My sandwich came with slow roasted pork, ham,Swiss cheese, deli mustard and pickles. I got mine on white bread. They put the sandwich in the oven to warm it up and melt the cheese, then gets dressed in what ever toppings you want. I chose to keep mine as is. The pork needs a little more seasoning, but over all, it was delicious. The meat was very tender, bread was so fluffy and soft. The deli mustard was not too tangy. I also grabbed a lemon cheesecake cookie. It was soft, chewy and had cheesecake pieces incorporated into it. I would definitely get that again. Plenty of seating inside and seating on the patio. It is noisy inside so if you're looking for a quieter place, i would take my food to go. The parking lot can become busy and congested due to it being in a plaza with other businesses. I will be back to try other sandwiches!

We came here a lunch outing to try the pot pie soup and the eggnog shake. My co-workers were raving…read moreabout how good the pot pie soup is and how you have to try it. Cute sandwich shop with friendly employees who are helpful but could definitely work on......how should we say hygienic cleanliness. Another fast casual establishment where either employees do not use gloves or their gloves are an extension of their hands, meaning they mop and clean up in the gloves, FINE but wash your hands and change your gloves afterwards. Also, take your gloves off if you're handling money and why are you wiping your nose with gloves on. The cup of soup if $5, well over priced for the portion size. The soup itself is hearty and the big draw is that the soup has pot pie crust sprinkled on top. It's more of a deconstructed pot pie that you eat like a soup then being a soup. The eggnog shake was $5.59 which was priced correctly for the cup size. The shake had a slight eggnog flavor but not that power packed punch that I was expecting. They use real milk in their shakes and I the quality of the ice-cream. I would recommend trying one of their shakes. My co-worker ordered both the eggnog shake and went back before we left to order the banana pudding shake which he stated tasted exactly like pudding and enjoyed that shake over the eggnog. I have tried a few of their sandwiches since our office has used them to cater lunch several times. The sandwiches are literally just ok, more miss than hit. The wreck I find is the most flavorful and the chicken bacon ranch is over-rated. I would not go out of my way to purchase a sandwich from here and spend my own money, they are far better sandwich shops to chose from. The only item that I absolutely LOVE from here is the jar of Hot Peppers. Now their jar of giardiniera is the BEST!!! It's a mixture of jalapeños, carrots, cauliflower, peppers and celery. It's spicy and super flavorful, goes GREAT on anything to add a kick, especially pizza and of course sandwiches.

I went with the hot roast beef on garlic cheese bread this time, but there are so many great options to choose from. The bread was fresh and toasted perfectly, and the regular size sandwich is very filling. I ordered a large sandwich to take half home for my husband for later. (I'm not sure how it will reheat, but it was too good not to share.) There is some outdoor seating, though this location is at the edge of a somewhat crowded parking lot on Ballas, so I might suggest eating inside if you can find a table, or taking it to go. I appreciated the detailed pickup instructions when ordering online. I knew exactly where to go to find my order. It was hot and ready when they said it would be (less than 20 minutes after ordering) and it traveled well back to the office. Yum!

Absolute perfection. It's spicy, juicy, and stacked like it's trying to win an award. I took one bite and immediately considered calling my ancestors to say, "We've peaked." The vibe is fast, friendly, and full of locals who clearly know this is sacred ground. You don't come here to "try something light." You come here to eat like your Nonna's watching and she's judging your portion size. Pro tip: grab extra napkins, say yes to the pepper spread, and don't make eye contact with your sandwich unless you're emotionally ready for that kind of commitment.
