I had several additional requests which they accommodated such as adding an extra drain line and additional return vent and all the work was done as requested. Since completion of the job, they have come back on routine maintenance visits to keep the system up and running and the cost of which was included with the original work. I therefore. have been very pleased with after-installation service. Separately, I used them for plumbing, specifically replacing a sink faucet, repairing a garbage disposal, and repairing a leaky shower fixture. I was very pleased with this service as well. Especially the garbage disposal because all it needed was a minor turn of a crank to loosen it up instead of a full replacement, which saved me a significant amount of money. Obviously, overall, I'm very happy with their services. I will be using them again and highly recommend.

It's unbelievable but some companies required upfront deposit even before assessment of the issue. Our technician,Brian, was on time, called prior, came with shoe covers, quickly identified problems with toilet, gave us estimates and couple options to think about. I called next morning and next business day he returned and completed repair. Again on time, very professional and leave no dirt or waste after job. Prices are horribly high now everywhere, but plumbing can't be avoided,so their price point is adequate to area, but service is superb. Can't deduct star for high prices, because they are using gas and supplies which are horrible now.

However, cold showers get old after the first one. Anyways, I assumed it was repairable due to clogged valves or needed replacement as it was over 10 years old and maybe much older. I called this company up because of the reviews and anything veteran owned is usually legit. Nassim was my technician and he can right in the middle of the service window scheduled. He immediately found the issue and gave me two options - repair or replace. I decided to replace because I know the water supply in this community tends to have a lot of minerals buildup. I'm glad I did. Upon removing the old hot water heater, a ton of deposits was found. I may have been missing out on full powered showers for years. Not anymore! Highly recommended. No BS. No upsell. Time to shower and be clean again!

They went above and beyond to get our gas lines fixed and ensure our water and gas lines were properly bonded after lightning caused extensive damage to our home and gas lines. A special shoutout to James Jordan for going out of his way to make sure everything was clearly communicated and completed in a timely manner. His attention to detail and commitment to keeping us informed throughout the entire process and getting the project completed even when dealing with multiple issues were greatly appreciated. He made sure we had the key people from his team assigned to this project. We also want to give a huge thank you to Mike Kriesten and John Lambert. They worked an incredibly long day and well into the night, then came back first thing the next morning to finish the installation of our new gas lines. Their hard work, professionalism, and dedication to getting the job done meant more to our family than we can express. When you're dealing with something as important as your home's gas and water systems, having people who genuinely care about doing the job right makes all the difference. My family and I can't thank James, Mike, John, and the entire Marines Service Co. team enough. Exceptional service, communication, and dedication from start to finish. We are incredibly grateful and would highly recommend Marines Service Co.!

Called Friday morning and the receptionist was amazing and got someone to our house that morning. Full diagnostic told us the compressor went bad. Our unit was 13 years old, so it was about time for a new system. We decided to replace whole system as replacing a compressor is quite expensive basically half the cost of a new one. Mike came that night to price out a new system. I got two quotes from other companies. But decided on Shanahan because of their reputation, service as well as pricing. Talked with Mike and Conner (the owner) about our options and they came on a Saturday to install even though they didn't have an opening until Thursday. The owner himself came with a couple guys and replaced our system. They were very polite, did excellent work and we were back up and running. Plus they had very affordable pricing. These guys care! I'm leaving a review based on my prior experiences with KCS (have used them since we purchased our…read morehome in 2020). We got their base maintenance plan with 2 inspection services each year, and used that for about 3 years (no real issues to fix.) During one inspection in 2024, the tech realized that our furnace water pan had filled (but not so high it shut off yet) and he helped identify the problem and luckily was able to fix it the same day (no parts/ charge.) He suggested in a non-pushy way that it really may benefit us to up our plan to the higher one (almost double the cost/yr, so a little scary) because we're probably entering the zone where larger repairs may start for our furnace and the plan covered most of the types of parts that would be in a significant repair. He seemed knowledgeable and trustworthy, so we decided to at least do it for a year. We were very lucky, because the next year was the epic winter - the furnace went out/ our YouTube tricks didn't get it running, and the red plan ($500/yr) meant we pushed to the top of the queue and got someone out when the temp was dropping in the whole house. Apparently the part needed to fix it was over $1,000 (not including install), and that was covered in our plan. So that proved the value for us! I know they were recently acquired/ merged with FH Furr, so it appeared that our online requests for service on the KCS site were not actually being seen/ addressed. When I got time to call over, the former red maintenance plan was unfortunately no longer sold by this new company. I got the "gold plan" which includes 2 HVAC inspections, a plumbing inspection, and an electrical inspection for honestly a price that is so cheap I'm worried it's going to be an upselling scam :/ so I'll update this as needed in the future to help others who may wondering if this new company will have the same service quality as pre-acquisition.

Tyson came out and quickly determined the leak was not coming from the joint but rather from somewhere above. So now there was a mystery leak hidden behind the walls somewhere between the third floor and the basement. He suspected the pipe to be behind and certain section of wall on the middle floor and thought maybe a nail could be the culprit and checked to see if we had anything nailed to the wall, we didn't. So he had to pick a section of wall to cut behind to check and on his first try found the pipe and showed me exactly where the previous owner put a nail through the toilet drain pipe. I was originally concerned we'd have to open many walls and ceilings to find it and I'm still wondering how he found it so quickly. He also answered a ton of my questions.
