I was prompted to give Arie a call to help out with a couple of chronic fixture issues in my kitchen as well as advise me on maintenance for my tankless waterheater. A fantastic experience - truly - and here's why: 1. Took my call and came over right away - a real benefit of hiring local! 2. Arie is amazing! I had suspected that the company my tenants called to clear a clogged sink had performed services that were completely unnecessary. This company jetted out the pipes instead of making a typical repair. The cost was $460 to clean a simple clog. The company then wanted to charge $1800 for replacing a ten foot section of pipe they said was corroded. A dear friend suggested I call Arie for help. Ari Glassman may be good at what he does but he is the most unprofessional man that I have ever worked with, condescending and defensive. I called him for service and on the phone he cut me off at least 5 times and then came to my house and put his hands on everything outside of the job he was doing. Then coincidently all my plumbing went haywire. I called him back to discuss and his defensiveness was off putting. When we hung up he called me back 10 times when i did not answer he blocked his number and continued to call multiple times. On my neighborhood site I asked for additional plumbers other than Ari and he took to the site and posted negative things about me and my personal info. His actions appear extremely unprofessional and his rates are high and he only accepts cash. read more

We had a leak under our kitchen sink and needed a plumber. I remembered seeing Arie Glasman's name on Nextdoor and the outstanding reviews he received, so I called him. When he came, he assessed the situation, said our hot water tank was leaking, left to purchase a new one, came back and installed it and all of that took less time than it takes me to comb my hair. He also saw a small hose which was leaking and took care of that without charging us. His price for all this was quite reasonable. I had hot water flowing out from the hot water heater closet. I called and Arie can out immediately. We had a cascade of problems caused by the water, and he spent most of the day to solve each problem. Later that night, when Arie was at a social event a new problem arouse, and he dropped everything and came right out and fixed it. His responsiveness was great.
