They have three addresses , three different phone numbers . It doesn't matter which number you call , it's the same company . In the whole company they have only 2 plumbers . I hit the worse one. Because I had used their service before on a gas line and had a positive experience. This time they sent Alex . But he is definitely trained to waste time , hours and days . Also trained never to give an itemized estimate , doesn't complete task , doesn't even know how to search online for right parts and how to order . I gave him a list of things to do . He quoted me $ 2600 hundred dollars . He only did some of the items that were on the list and still charged me the same price . I tried to communicate with the company numerous times and they would not take any responsibility. So finally when I got in touch with the technician / plumber Alex , I could not understand fully what he was saying . Line cutting on and off ( calling me from his personel cell phone ) a bit of a heavy accent. So when I told him that I could not understand what he was saying , he called me that I was being racist . He pulls a race card . Since he doesn't want to discount the uncompleted job , he is using all kinds of excuses. I have been texting with a guy named Tomas . He is using some type of a program to answer me . His responses has no correlation to my concerns whatsoever. If I can give ZERO stars I would with my experience. Called them to come out to fix a simple toilet flap issue. The part is $7 dollars that needed to be replaced. They quoted me nearly $400 to repair it. I couldn't believe it! Needless to say, I said no thank you and the plumber pretty much stormed out of the home. I then went to the hardware store down the street, got the part for $7 dollars and it took me 10 minutes to fix. My 9 year old son could have fixed it. Last weekend our brand new tenants who had only moved into our rental a few days earlier in Sherman Oaks called and said that they had no hot water. I immediately went on Yelp and called Red Hat Plumbing. They had great reviews and I thought I'd give them a try. When I called I spoke with the owner Adam he could not have been nicer or more professional. He understood the urgency of my problem and got one of his workers to our home within a few hours. Unfortunately his technician was unable to get the heater fired up. The heater was over 20 years old and he and I agreed that it was time to replace it. By then end of that same day my tenants were able to once again take hot showers and continue to use hot water as needed. I contacted red hat plumbing for a leak that I saw in the crawl space and also replacing our faucet in the bathroom. Alex came to our house within a few hours and quickly found the source of the leak. He then came back the following day (on Saturday!) for the repair work and replacing the faucets. He did an excellent job. He was very courteous, experienced, and patient. Our house pipes are pretty old so with a little more pressure than needed, they may break but he was very patient and finished the work very professionally. Last week, i stopped having hot water. I guessed the water heater pilot went off . i called the Gas Company, someone came out the next day and tried to fix it but then said i might want to call a plumber. I was in the middle of a refrigerator repair, technician coming later, so i delayed focusing on the hot water problem. The next day i called the Gas Co to ask for more information from the employee who came out, did his records show what was wrong with it. The representative said it had a bad thermocouple. So, at least i knew what to tell a plumber that might be needed when i called. I also had a problem with my garbage disposal not turning on with the power switch. i didn't know who to call. I needed to do something, there had been no hot water in a little more than 4 days. i googled hot water heater repair and garbage disposal. Red Hat Plumbing was the first link that came up on google search. The information on the web site was easy to understand. There was a phone number, it was Sunday night about 9pm, i called, thinking i'd leave a voice mail, someone answered and gave me another number to text what the problem is. I texted that i needed a thermocouple, and i was getting no hot water. He said he could have someone out to my house in the morning if that worked for me, and i said GREAT! communication was great and good vibes. The technician arrived on time, Jaime, i took him to the water heater and he sat down and got to work. It looked complicated and interesting to watch. He removed the defective thermocouple and cleaned everything up on the adjustment mechanism. The water heater is pretty old, installed 2006. He said he went to the store to buy the part but found out that part is not made anymore. He got a universal part that might still work, he thought it would. He was obviously experienced with this whole process, smooth trouble shooting. He worked carefully and step by step. When he finished, he turned it on and it made a sound like a water heater that was turning on, the universal part worked. i was really happy, good to know i had somebody knowledgeable and experienced. He said it would take about 45 minutes for the faucet water to become hot, and it did. I told him about the garbage disposal and i told him my friend had said i would need to replace the water filters in order to fix it. Jaime said No. He put his arm under my sinks and was reaching around with one hand and in maybe 30 seconds, he said "Try it now," and it worked normally. He said it needed to be reset. I'd been living without the garbage disposal for several weeks, i was cleaning the food off of pans and dishes with a paper towel and putting it in the garbage, i was tired of doing that. So to say this fast experienced and friendly service by Red Hat Plumbing was uplifting is to put mildly. Everything working normal since Jaime was here, and now i know who to call for anything plumbing related which is such a valuable thing. A+ read more

Our rainwater pump stopped working and within a day Red Hat came and addressed the issue. Robert and Gonzalo were cordial and prompt, finding the problem and fixing it with speed and efficiency. I'm not a person who likes to give bad reviews or gives reviews at all typically, however I just had to spend nearly $1k to have a new valve, cartridge, and shower trim kit installed in my shower. Red Hat Plumbing installed a new cartridge, valve and trim kit in my primary shower well over a year ago and when I had another plumber in my home recently to repair a separate Issue in my primary bathroom, he noticed right away that the tub spout, backing to the tub spout and backing plate to the temperature control valve had large gaps between them and the backing tile due to sloppy installation. The new plumber told me I'm lucky water did not splash and get into the wall and cause mold issues. After struggling to figure out why I had a water hammer and installation issues with the shower trim kit, the new plumber cut a whole in my wall and then saw the shower cartridge was also Improperly installed. It's very frustrating to spend several hundreds of dollars to have something repaired and installed by professional plumbers only to then just a year or so later spend even more to fix the mistakes the Red Hat Plumber did. To make sure my review is not false or biased, Red Hat Plumbing also installed a water pressure valve on my house initially (this is why I then hired them to repair my shower) and I have not had any issues with the water pressure valve which was Installed properly. It seems like the plumber they sent to my house to work on my shower was either inexperienced or sloppy but either way it cost me a lot more money in the long run. read more

I had a nasty worn out kitchen sink. I was going to change it out. Ahmad came with Carlos and they did an inspection and suggested a different less expensive way to do the job. Ahmad removed the hardware and plumbing from the sink and a porcelain refinisher came out and put a new surface in the sink and Ahmad came back and reinstalled all new faucet, dishwasher over flow, new drain pipes new sink drains and a new powerful garbage disposal.
