We had piers put under our house and needed to pass the hydrostatic test. We failed that test and discovered under the house our pipes were of cast iron and about 50 years old. We had 3 other plumbing companies come by with outrageously high bids. Chad gave a quote, no BS. Pricing was great. Support your local family owned businesses! Had sewage pipes removed and re-piped. They tunneled about 40 feet under the house and another 40 foot trench in the yard. Angel and his crew of about 4-6 guys worked at our house for 8 days, even on weekends and on nights (with our permission). Hoping to get it all done before a bunch of rain came in. They did! I am writing this review because we were shocked by the owner's behavior! We chose them from several plumbing companies to do a major project for us based on his technician's visit: he came over prior and provided a written estimate, was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. We liked him and the repair cost so we decided to give them the job. When the owner showed up he entered our home and did not even say hello, introduce himself or acknowledged my husband who was right in front of him!!! My husband greeted him after an awkward moment and proceeded to show him the location of the damage. He disregarded everything, all he wanted was the down payment! A few seconds in he said, 'oh, that is $400 more', then kept adding some other 'extras'. My husband showed him the written estimate, an important reason for which we chose them but he said, 'oh, I don't care about that'. Then my husband wanted to show him the outside of the house to assess the other option given by the technician, again 'I don't care about that'... Said that about 3-4 relevant issues concerning the repair. Every attempt my husband made to clarify what was going to happen, was dismissed with 'I don't care' responses and ALL he wanted was to 'quickly' hurry to get that deposit... At that point my husband said that we DID care what happened with this project, our house AND our finances and that it would be better if we parted ways. He said fine and walked out! We had already told the other companies we were not giving them the job so I had to start searching for others from scratch! Extremely disappointed to see how the owner of a business behaved! Why would he even send a technician if he was not going to honor the estimates and qualification to assess a damaged by his specialists?! read more

This was a huge job digging under the slab of our home built in 1960. The guys were very nice and helpful at describing everything that would be done in this real mess of a job. Being without running water and sewer for over a week was tough but now at almost the end of the job, we won't have to call drain doctor every other week to fix out stoppage. Lots of mud, yard torn up but its coming back really fast even with rain that doesn't seem to stop. The guys even worked in the rain. Chad won't win a contest for most friendly of guys but what he and his team did, I can deal with that. read more

They "fixed" a sprinkler leak to the tune of $500+. A few years later that fix failed. I then paid a sprinkler company to fix their mistake. They said what PD did was completely wrong and doomed to fail. read more

I inquired about a new water heater because ours was very old. They gave me a quote over the phone and the price didn't change after they did the job. They also took away the old water heater so I didn't have to deal with having it hauled off myself. They came the next day and replaced the water heater and it took no longer than an hour. Don't use this company. They were rude to my wife and mother-in-law and charged a small fortune for doing very little (generally they didn't even do what we asked). Here's what we wanted them to do: 1. Replace the front water spigot - This one they at least did. 2. Fix the dripping rear spigot - They went ahead and replaced it, but it drips as much, if not more than the old one. So a waste of our money. 3. Fix the downstairs toilet (which was dripping in the tank) - The guy said that the dripping would be a lot of work to fix, so he didn't bother. He changed out the flapper (and charged us) and told us he problem would be "much better". Of course that wasn't where the leak was so the issue is exactly the same. 4. Fix the upstairs toilet (which makes a dripping sound) - The plumber couldn't even be bothered to find the problem with this toilet, although it's pretty easy to hear it dripping. 5. Drain the sediment from our water heater - A little investigation on the internet told me that popping sounds in a water heater are generally from sediment at the bottom of the tank. The remedy seems to be to drain the water (and thus the sediment) from the tank. I asked the plumber to do this for us. Instead, he just looked at our water heater, saw that it was older, and told us that the only option was to buy a new water heater. My research tells me that this is a pretty common problem with a pretty easy solution, but he wouldn't even try. In any case, not only was the guy rude, he really only accomplished one of the five things that we asked him about. He was here less than an hour and charged us $300, which is ridiculous for what he did. Yes, I understand that plumbers often have minimums for service calls, but if you're going to do that you should at least try and make it worth your client's time by trying to fix as much as you can (not simply saying stuff like "that it's too much work"). Anyway, this company is horrible and a waste of money. If you're going to use a plumber, at least find one that's friendly and courteous. Plumbing Dynamics is definitely not that company. read more
