Came here with a bunch of choir friends and we had such a blast! I love that the karaoke system hooks up to YouTube, it makes searching super easy and you get even more song options that way. The atmosphere is really nice, the lighting is purple and not super dark, and it really sets the mood to make it feel like you (and your party) are in a whole other world. Definitely worth coming here during happy hour! Especially if you have a large party. If you do go during happy hour and watch the discount, each member needs to purchase something from their menu. If you aren't feeling too hungry, you can order drinks or a bottle water. It is also first come first serve, so there may be a wait. I love plush! I've been here more times than I can count on 2 hands and I'm never disappointed. Karaoke is reasonably priced especially if you have a large group and I've never had an issue with getting a room (even on short notice). It's a Korean karaoke bar so they have a lot of Korean songs, however they have a pretty stacked English song selection as well. You can even sing songs from YouTube. Soju is pretty expensive ($15 a bottle) but the corkage fee is even more expensive. Keep that in mind if you are planning on drinking during karaoke. Food is pretty average priced for the area but isn't the best. Service is alright, it depends on the day I suppose. Sometimes it's very slow if you need help or assistance. I had one of the worst experiences at this karaoke bar recently. A server named Jacob was shockingly rude and dismissive throughout the night. From the moment we arrived, his attitude made it clear he didn't want to be there -- eye rolling, sarcasm, and unhelpful responses any time we asked for something. It took him half an hour to come and take our order after we pressed the service button multiple times. When we tried to order drinks and snacks, he acted annoyed, spoke in a condescending tone, and even made a few snide remarks that completely killed the fun atmosphere. I would never recommend this place, what a complete waste of money and time. The service was absolutely terrible. The girl who helped us had a disgusting attitude, acted like she hated being there, and made my entire party feel unwelcome. I thought this would be like a typical Korean noraebang, but it was a lot more Americanized. We got a fat song book full of mostly just American songs and that's fine, but no book with Korean songs. I don't care to look up Korean artists from the remote and would rather just look through a book to find the songs. I love the idea of Plush Karaoke Lounge! I'm sure there are a handful of karaoke establishments around, but this location had an authenticity to it. When you walk in, it's dark with bright LED screens playing K-Pop music videos and neon lighting lining the hallways. My friends and I came on a Friday or Saturday right when they opened. We were offered a room immediately, but decided to wait so that we could grab dinner beforehand. About 1.5 hours later, we received a text that our karaoke reservation was ready! We got the small karaoke room which was plenty of space for 4 people. The song selection is huge! They had almost every song we were looking for. My only issue is that our mics kept going in and out so we were basically yelling the lyrics. We had someone come by to assist but at one point we gave in since we only had the room for an hour. One thing to note, YOU have to keep track of how long you are in the room otherwise you pay for the additional time you spend there. First things fir the lady at the counter the day we went is super friendly. I went last Monday. She was super friendly and helpful. I went with a group of friends and she was just very helpful. The vibe was super cool. Like it felt like a nice movie theatre. The price is reasonable and they do have food there. Mainly appetizer like foods like wings, fries, onion rings etc. They also have drinks. I didn't get food there, but just went for the singing. The songs were ok. The selection of songs weren't as good as other karaoke places I went to like in Cerritos. It's quite limited for the English songs. Also for some reason when it was time to get graded, everyone got 0. I think there was something wrong with the machine, because there is no way everyone got 0, since we have a lot of singers with our group. I won't go here on my own accord, but it' still ok. It feels surreal; and so did Plush Karaoke when we came on a Friday around 7:30. Parking in Jamboree is a mess and all I can say is good luck and be aggressive. We came in and it was surprisingly already busy for a opening hour. We opted for a large room ($66/hour) for our party of 5 as we waited for more people to show up. I was definitely impressed with the layout, the lights, the bar, the drinks, the selection, the tambourines, and the room itself. It was so fun!! The screen is big enough to see the lyrics with strobe lights acting like you're a celebrity. There's Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and English songs and they are popping! Popular and trending songs can be found here. (I'm still waiting for Willow's "Meet Me at Our Spot" but that's okay) We were asked if we wanted to stay longer as the reservation after us cancelled and it was easy to add time to our room. I'm not sure how it would work if you came in at a later time because all the rooms looked filled. It was cute seeing different groups singing and hearing them as you walked down the hall. If you're looking for a good karaoke spot in south OC, Plush is definitely a good but pricey option. Upon my most recent visit, it seems that they gave the rooms a facelift. The rooms are dim and accented with neon lights to give you that club/lounge vibe. The rooms, in my experience, have always been clean. More importantly: song selection. Unfortunately as someone who listens to genres you probably never heard of (pretentious hipster moment, sarcastically), I have trouble finding songs to sing to... BUT they have a lot of the classic karaoke bangers that most people would know even the chorus to. Also, I unashamedly admit that they do have most of the Drake singles, so at least I know those. Anyway, they have quite an extensive catalog of songs to choose from, so I'm certain finding songs won't be an issue. Drinks/soju here is definitely pricey, which is a bit of a problem because without a sufficient amount of alcohol in my system, I am *NOT* going anywhere near a mic, let alone sing in general. With so few karaoke spots in Orange County, I'd imagine Plush is probably one of the most popular/known ones. They also get really REALLY REAALLLLYYY busy, so good luck getting a room. I always have a good time here and while the decor is nice and all, the karaoke here is a bit expensive. I much prefer karaoke in Ktown or Little Tokyo. The food and drink menu - while not cheap - is very reasonable compared to other karaoke places in the area.
