What a great experience! First of all, the lady who helped me was so nice! She was helpful and accommodating, suggesting options and being so polite. Excellent customer service! When I walked inside, I loved the vibe. It was clean and neat and beautifully decorated. The food was soooooo delicious! I got the miso salmon poke, but only wanted cucumber mixed in, so she gave me a little extra since I wasn't getting the other mix-ins. She even offered to put the seaweed salad on the side for me. Since it was a to-go order, she even plastic wrapped it for me. I was blown away at how helpful she was. The flavor was so yummy. I also ate the baked salmon onigiri. It came in a cute package with easy to follow instructions so that it's fresh no matter when you eat it. So good! I also had the ube shaved ice. The ube was good and the jelly and popping bobba and mochi in it made it extra special. Was a bit skeptical but I checked out the fish and it looked good to the eye. My husband ended up getting the salmon bowl and yep it tasted fresher than the competition, so i'd be back. Price is steeper as well. I got three hand rolls, the california, salmon, and spam which were okay, but a mechanical challenge for me lol. I liked that they had those options and I didn't just have to get a bowl. The california one tasted the best, the other two were a little boring flavor wise but all were fresh so I left feeling satisfied. Was perfect for a light lunch. Oddly enough they don't have ice at the water area. Service was okay, though not particularly warm. They provided no verbal instruction for the hand rolls so I was left to my own devices lol. My best friend and I love trying new poke places and we're very happy to hear a new one opened up in this area. Very spacious and clean inside, we love the aesthetics and furnishing! However, the food... not so much. Ordering your bowl is straightforward, we appreciate them labeling everything and explaining what's inside the sauces. Portions were extremely small, more rice than proteins. Rice was not even warm and kinda had that weird hard and old rice texture. Sauces lacked flavor and they charge extra for seaweed salad when other places offer one scoop of it for free as a topping. Two medium bowls cost me $41, that is insane. They gave onigiri if you spend over $20, and as someone who makes and has had authentic onigiri... it was really bland. The onigiri is made and shaped perfectly, but there's absolutely no taste. Today I got to try their Howse bowl special, which is like a salmon chunk drenched in honey, mustard, or Sriracha and spicy mayo and aïoli and also I don't remember the other sauce I might've mistaken, but overall the taste was really delicious. I did not get to finish my bowl as it was pretty hefty and I immediately felt full after getting half way in. I also got to try their Ube shaved ice dessert, that was really sweet for my own preference, but what was nice about it was the mochi bites that was included as one of the three toppings on the dessert. They have a complementary water fountain, you'll have to ask for ice as there is no ice dispenser around, my cousin and I just basically had tapwater at room temperature. The staff was really patient and friendly. The ambience was super Duper light and bright. I felt like I was in a science lab but anyways I'm bumped into a few friends and also had a great experience with my cousins while enjoying a free meal presented and served by one of the coolest food app curators and lucky me- I had a great experience there. I was super excited to see a new poke spot opening up near me so when I got the soft opening advertisement on my Instagram I was on my way immediately! The space inside was nice and clean. A decent amount of tables if you planned to eat in. Staff were nice. Typically, I'd build my own bowl and load it with salmon but this time I decided on one of their signature bowls. I got the Tuna Lover Bowl and added avocado. It was a pretty pricey bowl running me about $22-23, but I wasn't surprised due to their location. The bowl itself was very tasty. The tuna was marinated well and tasted fresh. They have less toppings here than some of their other competitors, but I feel like solid poke doesn't need any additional toppings. This is definitely the case here. I could eat the garlic oyster tuna alone and be completely satisfied. Overall, I'd be back! read more

The build-your-own poke bowls were very customizable, with options like octopus & tofu that aren't always offered at other places. Everything tasted super fresh! The quality of the poke is the same as the other competitors. I ordered the large bowl. It comes with 4 choices of protein. The crab salad is automatically free and I got 3 scoops of it. I chose to get the garlic tuna, 2 scoops of the spicy tuna, and the salmon. All the ingredients tasted fresh. I got half rice half spring mix salad. I added the shoyu, masago, jalapeno, crispy onion, and seaweed salad. The seaweed salad and avocado are extra charges. I believe the scoops of the proteins could've have been bigger. I am happy to have come try this place. It did not wow me. It is going to do well because of the location. It's casual dining. Nothing wrong with Poke House. I've tried other Poke House locations in the Bay Area, so I was excited when one opened in Clovis. With that anticipation, I had to check it out on just the second day after their soft opening. Parking can be tricky since the area is packed with restaurants and has limited spots, but once inside, the place is clean, spacious, and has a few tables available. The protein options are mostly tuna and salmon, and I really appreciated the new hand roll options on the menu. Unfortunately, the poke bowl rice was undercooked--the white rice was crunchy and really shouldn't be served, though the brown rice was at least a bit more cooked. The sauces are plentiful, but the portions weren't enough; my large bowl ended up bland because the ratio of sauce to rice and protein was off. Thankfully, since I got my order to go, I was able to add some soy sauce at home to salvage it. Having enjoyed their Bay Area locations, I really want to love this Clovis spot, but every bite had at least one "I wish this was better" moment. Maybe I'll give it another try after some time. I'm thankful that the imitation crab scoop is free here and not considered a protein option--unlike other poke spots in Fresno where it comes with an extra charge. read more

They forgot to add two of the hand rolls which normally I wouldn't care but it's fairly pricey to be forgetting parts of the order. The food tastes fresh but there's absolutely no seasoning or sauce. The salmon onigiri and tuna onigiri needs mayo mixed in!! With salt!! The hand rolls were the same. Everything was dry and bland. Also on the onigiri they placed the stickers on the worst part of the wrapping so it messed up the whole mechanics of how you're supposed to conveniently unwrap the onigiri and hand rolls. today was my third visit here. my first visit was during their soft opening, and my second was on their grand opening. the first two times were spectacular. food quality, service, and atmosphere were all amazing. both times i made my own bowl and had a great experience. today, though, i decided to try one of their specialty bowls since i wasn't really feeling like fish. i ordered the crispy chicken shoyu bowl, paid, and drove home. mind you i only live about 2 minutes away, but when i opened my bowl and took a bite, the chicken was cold and soggy and honestly just gross, which was really disappointing. they can also be a little stingy with toppings, but if you ask, they'll usually add more. other than that, everything else was okay. i had such good experiences my first two visits, so i was pretty disappointed this time, especially with the chicken. read more
