The most delicious thing ever. I love sushi, so this was the next best thing. I made my own bowl with crabsticks, corn, green onions, tuna, tempura crumbs (or however you call them) & sesame seeds, with sriracha sauce. Soooooo yummy. I ate up that whole thing so fast. Also looks really pretty & low carb (if you leave out the rice) update: I feel like I'm getting skimmed on everything that goes into my bowl. It seems shallow and they just aren't putting enough stuff in there. I get charged a dollar for a couple pieces of avocado and a dollar for about 5 little skinny crab sticks. So this is a really interesting take on sushi... a bit of a cross between Chipotle and your favorite sushi place. The food was really good, and quick. We will definitely be back for the food bowl. Dessert left a bit to be desired, however. The ice cream itself was quite good, and watching it be made was really cool. We ordered 5 items, and were told it would be about 10 minutes. 30 minutes later, we still had not gotten our entire order. They were pretty busy, and clearly their process for completing orders in the order they are taken is non-existant. People who ordered after us were getting their orders before ours was completed, etc. It was a bit of a mess. If they can get a better handle on this, it will be a neat addition to the place. For now, I suggest skipping the ice cream, and just enjoying the quite good sushi alternative. read more

Heard good things about Poke Bros., and decided to give it a try last week. Loved the ability to totally customize my bowl (a la Chipotle-style). I have simple tastes with Sushi (nigiri), so being able to craft a bowl that showcases the quality of fish and rice is a winner in my book. There are several varieties of fish and seafood (plus chicken) to choose from including three styles of tuna. The Hawaiian Tuna is my favorite with a light marinade that add some nice flavor without overpowering the quality of the fish. The Sweet Soy sauce is fantastic, but go light or opt-out of the OG sauce to keep the dish from becoming too salty. The mochi is a great dessert that can be ordered by the piece. While the staff mentioned chocolate chip was the most popular, give the Green Tea and Toasted Coconut Mochi a try. You won't be disappointed. Looking forward to trying the Thai Ice Cream the next time we are in. Finally, I have to mention the staff who have been very attention and friendly with each visit. read more

Will never be there ever again. Terrible way to deal with customer. I made a mistake to place an order in a different state. Instead of trying to refund or transfer order. They decided the best solution is to do nothing. I tried to call the different location store. No one ever answers my call. It shows how this company treats its customers: they do not care. Just told my friends to never order here. Bibibop will definitely do better. Updates: They told me that they are going to refund the money, but still, customer service need to keep up with the growing business. I'm not mad at not getting a refund because I made a mistake. I'm mad because no one is picking up the phone for 4 hours when I try to contact them. I was a huge fan before today. I might still go there but definitely not as frequent. This isn't based on anything other than when I first ordered the bowl. The amount of fish they put on here and still have audacity to call it a poke bowl is appalling. It should be called a rice bowl with a few pieces of cubed fish. Holy poke-Kay mole! I had this for the first time less than 48 hours ago and have been having sweet dreams about it since. It's basically the answer to an emergency sushi fix...In a bowl.... For those of you complaining about the price, I don't know about you but I can't recall the last time I had a sushi craving and cured it for less than $12. Think chipotle style but less stressful and time consuming as there is no line out the door. Which brings me to my next point... someone needs to open 7 if not 8 more of these north of 270 immediately. I'm super picky about what foods I eat, especially "fast food", and so I tend to gravitate toward Chipotle or Bibibop, so when I saw Poke Bros while heading into a movie at the Rave, I knew I had to check it out. The food is excellent, and definitely fresh. Seaweed salad is as good as any I've had at a sushi restaurant. Sauces are great, and despite huge portions, you don't leave feeling overly stuffed. The staff is friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain choices and make recommendations. I will absolutely be back to Poke Bros. read more

We have several places in Cleveland serving Poke, so I was excited to find a place in Columbus. We stopped in before our Ikea run and visit for graduation weekend and loved it. I have to say that I was very nervous about this restaurant for me and my family, but I am so glad that we tried it! We do like sushi, but more of the cooked variety. We started out with their cooked chicken and shrimp options, but now we all get the tuna and love it. I discovered Poke Bros a few months back and it has become my favorite place to go for early lunch on Saturdays. The fish is so fresh and the staff does a great job of incorporating the toppings so that the bowls are consistent and delicious. I tend to order the raw tuna and salmon when I visit, as I like a multitude of flavors and layers of sauces and ingredients. Super fresh! Basically a deconstructed sushi bowl that you get to choose all of the ingredients. Choose a base (brown rice, white rice, mixed greens or chips) then a protein which ranges from chicken to octopus and everything in between, then the toppings. The awesome part is you can load up on veggies/toppings and sauce for no extra charge. You can get extra protein for a simple $2 extra. Only complaint is seating fills up fast and sometimes you just don't want to sit on a stool. read more

Love this place really fresh fish and great toppings. It's like chipotle and mr sushi had a baby. Never a huge line and it moves pretty fast. I had even made a suggestion to the manager when the first opened that the cleanser they used was too strong smelling and he explained they were worried people would be put off by a faint smell of raw fish but I reminded him that's what they came to have . I was in the mood for sushi and stumbled on this place via yelp (my go-to site when traveling). The restaurant was clean and quiet when I walked in...lunch crowd was over I guess. I was greeted by two very soft spoken employees who were pleasant enough. I explained I had never been here so the gentleman started explaining the process to me. I ended up going with one of their already made bowls (being my first time) I went with Da Kine. I did half brown rice half mixed field greens and extra on the seaweed salad. I also added a few extra sauces (sriracha aioli). I was licking the bowl at the end!! YUM!! I agree with some of the other reviews as far as the small portions. But he did give me a big scoop of the marinated tuna. Spending $12 for a small bowl made me cringe a little but considering the fresh ingredients I was OK with it. Had the pleasure of going on opening day...set up like a Chipotle or BiBi-bop, this place is good. They have excellent selections of proteins and veggies to add to your bowl. The desserts are amazing, fruit flavored jelly ice cream balls. I can't recall the actual name of the dessert. We tried all of them. The passion fruit and green tea were among my favorites. The protein choices at poke bros was not good at all, the octopus was bland and cold and the salmon tasted packaged and not fresh. However this place does have many good sauces and toppings. It offers better toppings than any other pokè place around in fact. They also offer Thai rolled ice cream which is nice. Wahh I really, really wanted to like this place! However, having recently come back from Hawaii on a poke high we decided to order from here. First strike was when we wanted to order delivery 30 minutes before they closed and found out they don't deliver at that time...lame. Oh well, better for Crazzy Greek who got to have our business (although it was also 30 minutes before their closing time, just completely different customer service models). Anyway, we waited until the next day and tried to order again for lunch. This was our second bad experience with BiteSquad trying to order from Poke Bros and when we called the restaurant to let the manager know, he didn't really do much other than tell us he would "talk to BiteSquad about it." He didn't show any initiative in telling us other apps that deliver Poke Bros but we asked anyway and proceeded with our order through GrubHub instead. Although it's the same restaurant, the ordering options - and get this, even the pricing - is different from one app to the other. Our food took well over an hour to be delivered; it took so long, in fact, that I was able to go to Kroger, buy groceries for the week, come home, and put the groceries away before our food ever arrived. When it finally did arrive, over an hour later, our delivery person said it was because they made the order and attempted to deliver it to the wrong address so they had to remake the food and send it out for delivery again. Well, having worked in the restaurant business I certainly understand that mistakes happen. However, if that was the case you would think that once they realized they delivered the first order to the wrong address, they could at least call or email me to let me know the food would have to be remade prior to being delivered, right? Nope, not at Poke Bros. And, lastly, once the food did arrive an hour later, the order wasn't even right! My bowl had seaweed, which I detest, and no avocado although I was still charged for it as an extra. I'm so torn because, as I've mentioned the food is good, but not good enough to warrant the high cost and the additional headaches of the online ordering and incorrect orders :( read more
