The Duke Bowl with seaweed and avocado
    Laquetta D.

Think Subway meets Hawaiian bowls and there you have Poké Bros. A casual dining experience for all the sushi lovers out there. When you're craving some fresh seafood, but maybe you don't wanna wait to order your sushi, you can grab and go here at Poké Bros. I enjoy coming whenever I'm on this side of town. I think they were one of the first places to offer Hawaiian/sushi bowls and it continues to be one of my favorites. With the Subway style of preparation, the combinations are truly endless. There's chicken, shrimp, a couple flavors of salmon as well as a couple flavors of tuna. So make as many or as little choices as your little heart desires! They have premade bowls or you can create your own. Be careful with this option as costs can add up quickly when choosing the premium toppings (masago, avocado , crab meat, etc). My go-to is the Duke bowl. It's comes with a trio of protein including: shrimp, salmon and tuna. It's delicious. Be careful as they don't keep their price board updated. So you might be slightly surprised at checkout. It's not expensive, but if it's a couple dollars more than what you think- don't be surprised. Great spot for a small group, or a casual date; as the dining room isn't very big. One of my go-to's when I'm on the north side of Indy. Check it out the next time you're craving a good sushi bowl.

My friend treated me to lunch the other day, and it was amazing! When you walk in, you are able to look at the menu and decide if you want a build your own, or one of their custom made bowls... I always do the build your own, because I like salad and lettuce only... And I get both types of lettuce, crab, ginger, marinated, tuna, seaweed, salad, edamame, and mango!! My taste buds are screaming happy in the cherry on top is that it's healthy! At the end, I normally get crunchy onions, and I get the sweet, soy and Mayo, type of dressing. It's safe to say that poke is one of my favorite foods bring a jacket when you go in because it is extremely cold... I would've gave it five stars but I was cold that day. Pros Food is yum yum Build your own salad bowl Sauces Cons Cold in the building I felt kinda rushed while ordering haha

Still my favorite!! Just had the Hula bowl and I'm even more in love than I was when I first tried them lol. The ratios are always perfect.

After learning I'd have a three hour wait to get an oil change I decided I better get lunch before dropping off the car... after a quick Yelp search I settled on some Poke at Poke Bros.. Easy to find! Easy to park! Bright! Clean! Quick! Friendly and efficient staff! The ingredients are all delicious and fresh! And they FILL the bowl to the top! They do offer a half dozen Signature bowls, but I chose to create my own. I started with brown rice added cucumbers, seaweed salad, edamame, mango, avocado, imitation crab, and ginger. I added half portion ahi tuna and shrimp. Added some coconut ginger sauce and a splash of GF soy!!! (YES! They have GF SOY!) Delicious! Will definitely go back and highly recommend!

Visited after working out at orange theory nearby. The restaurant was clean and the service was quick! It wasn't the best poke I've had around Indy, but still hit the spot. Their menu did not clarify gluten free items so it took a bit to figure out what I could eat.

I wanted to shake it up for lunch one day and decided that I wanted some poke. When I looked it up, this location popped up for me, and I had to have some. I ended up picking the Johnny Utah bowl and I enjoyed it! It had half brown and half sushi rice, with pineapple, mango, carrots, edamame, corn, green onions and ahi tuna, as well as a spicy, creamy sauce. It was a delicious and filling meal, and I even had some left overs as well. Everything was fresh and paired well together. I also had some mochi ice cream that was tasty as well, I want to try more flavors soon! All around tasty meal and I can't wait to get into the physical location to check them out.

I prefer Poke Bros over their competitors as you can add toppings as you like with a few items with additional charge. I like the half rice/half lettuce option and build your own bowl. Quick service over lunch time but took it to go. Clean restaurant, even the bathrooms were good. Glad more of these are popping up in our area.

Amazing experience! I have been a huge fan of poke since the trend started but that there's too many you have to look for something that distinguishes from the rest of them. This place is cool and has a friendly website to order online although there's a very short list of pre designed pokes the optioned given to make your own makes it great. If you register ahead and make your first order they will give you a discount. Mine was spicy tuna, spicy salmon, sushi rice, crunchy onions, seaweed salad, carrots, jalapenos and a unique wasabi aioli. This came in a huge bowl and was just exquisite. Will definitely go back, specially since you're so close to my job.

Poke Bros is a wonderful poke bowl place that I order Uber Eats from for quite a while. I love the Johnny Utah poke bowl which has salmon, Avocado, edamade, and pineapple. The chicken poke bowl is also excellent. I order from Poke Bros because it is a healthy dinner that I can enjoy and feel good about. It is wonderful and fills me up for dinner. I have not been to the location yet, but would definitely like to visit and see the location for myself to enjoy a poke bowl. The variety of poke bowl selection is fantastic and you can create your own poke bowl as well. This is a great alternative for healthy meals and I will continue to order from Poke Bros for as long as it is in business. You cannot go wrong with healthy eating at a decent price!!

    Da Kine Bowl
    Megan F.

I've been wanting to try Poke Bros as this location is very convenient in the Ironworks area. I ordered one of the pre made poke bowls called Da Kine. I really enjoyed the marinated tuna. Our bowls were made quickly and we took our bowls to go. Next time I'd like to create my own bowl as they have all the standard toppings. They also had a wide variety of mochi for dessert.

Three bowls! The one on the right was mine (custom with chicken). Looks kind of uncolorful but it was really good lol

The ingredients here were so fresh and yummy!! I'm not a fan of raw fish so I got the chicken, which despite looking bland/dry, was really well seasoned. The staff was efficient and helpful, and the environment was kept very clean. A few comments are that the price, despite being comparable to other poke places nearby, doesn't include as many toppings (for example crab would cost extra here whereas it doesn't elsewhere), and there weren't any fountain drinks so that meant no free water:( But that didn't take away from the delicious food so overall I had a good experience!!

A hidden gem in the Ironworks plaza. Poke bros is quickly becoming my favorite poke place in the area. Ingredients are always fresh and there are many options to choose from. My favorites are the Johnny Utah which includes Salmon, Avocado, Edamame, Cucumber, Masago, OG Sauce, Sriracha Aioli. The High tide which includes Chicken, Shrimp, Edamame, Carrots, Pineapple, Green Onion, Avocado, Corn, Cucumber, Sriracha Aioli, Sweet Soy, and OG Sauce. and my favorite bowl the Hula which includes, Shrimp, Green Onion, Cucumber, Crab Stick, Avocado, Masago, OG Sauce, Sriracha Aioli, and Coconut Ginger. You can also make your own bowl and mix up the bases. The options are really endless. Service has always been very fast and friendly when I go in, but they also have the option to order online, which has been great since I am always on the run. If you have never tried poke which is basically sushi in a bowl. Give this place a try. You will not regret it.

The Duke Bowl with extra ahi tuna
    Andrew T.

Poke bowls are typically overpriced with less ingredients that they include. Poke bros breaks this stereotype. The Duke bowl was amazing and full of protein! I really enjoyed eating it! The seasoning was just done right. The Duke bowl had ahi tuna, salmon, and shrimp which was a great combo. Great location at 86th Street with ample parking space. You walk inside a small cozy welcoming place. Service was very quick and staff were welcoming. I highly recommend this place to locals and visitors.

The lobster deviled eggs were super unique and honestly one of my favorite bites. Creamy, slightly tangy, and topped with lobster--it's not something you see everywhere, and they executed it really well. My husband tried the shrimp burrito, which was great for a seafood spot. I feel like most seafood places will have vegetarian options by way of removing the fish from pasta dishes or salad, but it's also nice to know that you can get chicken as a substitute on most of these kinds of dishes, too. Granted, it's just like chicken tenders, but still good nonetheless. I really like their firecracker pasta, which is moderately spicy in my opinion. There's no particular fishy smell here, which is always a good sign that the seafood they serve here is freshly prepared. Our food always comes out quickly for lunch and we've been a group as large as 8 or 9. I do believe that ordering is mostly done online in their mass Ave location, though. I don't really seek out a place like Slapfish on my own (no offense at all, just not a seafood girlie!!), but I would assume that it's a rather popular establishment as they recently opened a fifth location in the greater Indy area. If I did like fish and such more, I'd probably be here on a more regular rotation.
