Tuna, salmon, spicy crab mix poke.
    Alexandra R.

I love poke and sushi and I work in East County, so I'm always bummed out that I'm not near any poke or sushi places. My husband found me this place near my work for me to try. The scoops are a little bit on the smaller side but the customer service is really great, they have a new spicy crab mix which was recommended and I loved it. The quality of the fish is good and fresh. I only knew they had ube and Thai teas because I saw online but I wish they would advertise these on the menu to give more options for drinks. I will be recommending this place to all my coworkers

You want to know if this good? Omg it's bomb And love how they remember my orders, love this place 10-10

Half eaten poke bowl and lemon roll sub tuna

Edit- please train your ppl- it's annoying for them to leave from taking my order to go in the back and ask for pricing changes and "if they are allowed" to Do something. Love this place still but have always switched out the crab mix in rolls and now that there is seaweed salad as a side I'll have that indefinitely as my base for bowls. It's annoying for the same person to ask every time I order. Also the masago is extra now so if yall are used to ordering that beware. $5 to sub base I get. but masago used to be a normal topping, when I asked the lady what the extra side was she said masago.... Seems like he's price gouging. No tip this trip and I usually leave 5$. Also- it's never smelt like fish bad in here and today it did really bad! So been here prob about 18 times so i can say with assurance this place is great. They will even let you substitute the krab mix in their sushi. One thing is the poke bowls- rice is always crunchy so I just get spring mix, better for me anyway. They let you get ALL the toppings and double of all if you want. Best place ever.

The place is very nicely decorated. It has a fake grass wall and looks fairly clean in general. The food is decent. It was good enough for a poke crave but i didnt find it outstanding. We tried to engage in small talk with the girl who helped us but she barely even smiled.

It was my first time at Poke Doke and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. The poke bowl I ordered was not only fresh but also incredibly tasty. The service provided by Minh Anh was exceptional, and added to the overall positive vibe of the restaurant. The ambiance inside was cute and clean. LI would highly recommend Poke Doke to anyone looking for a delightful meal in a lovely environment.

They have a big variety of sushi, but one of their best friends is called the Guapo. Highly recommend this place extremely friendly staff and will help if you're indecisive on what to eat. If it was up to my wife, she would eat here every day. nicely decorated spot and plenty of room for you and the family to eat.

It was my first time coming here. Staff was super friendly. I got a large poke bowl with spicy tuna, tuna, salmon and shrimp. It was really good. My only complaint was my bowl was warm. I wish the proteins would have been more cold or maybe the rice not as warm. That's the only reason it's not 5 stars. Will come back and maybe try their rolls.

If you want to wait over an hour for not-so-fresh sushi, this is your spot. On par with pre-packaged sushi.

Food 5/5 -Combo plate with wasabi ahi and spicy mayo salmon, I opted for one scoop of rice and seaweed salad instead of two scoops of rice. I always get two scoops of rice and I wish I did this time as well, just overall more bites of rice and poke pairings feel more worth it to me. Poke is cold and fresh and tender in the best way, wasabi ahi is always my favorite, I love the sharp in the nose feel with the crunchy white onions in between, such a good flavor profile. Salmon was not fishy at all, spicy mayo is always a safe option. Strongly recommend as one of the most authentic and diverse poke options in San Diego! We were not greeted by an employee at the hostess stand and finally sat ourselves. It took 15 minutes for a server to greet us and ask for our drink order. Once he arrived for our drink order we put in a small food order to test out the quality of proteins. It took 40 minutes to get two hand rolls and one albacore sashimi order. The order took so long to arrive that once it did, we quickly put in a specialty roll order before trying the hand rolls. The specialty roll came out in two minutes flat, I did see a roll sitting on the sushi bar before we ordered. I believe we got someone else's roll because I asked about the long wait times. After the roll was delivered a server came over to our booth specifically to make a snarky comment, he said "you're lucky this was fast, people wait 1 hour for this on Fridays." The restaurant was clean, had a neat wall painting and the parking was free, those are the only positive experiences from our visit. The sashimi was dry as if it had been sitting out not properly stored. Hand rolls were mostly rice, the only protein is what you can see in the pic - gone in one bite of a 4 bite roll. The specialty roll was average. This was a very unpleasant experience, we will not go back and will not recommend to friends/family/yelpers. It should also be noted that we went on a Sunday afternoon and there were 3 sushi chefs behind the counter, 3 servers on the floor and 1 host. Hard to understand why the wait times were excessive and service was poor. Our server did acknowledge that the service was slow, however, he did not offer any apology, he just shrugged it off.

It's located towards the end of the Otay Ranch Mall, right next to Planet Fitness. I personally think parking is not a challenge. The main road in the middle of the mall may be hard to find parking, but there's an abundance of parking outside the mall on either side you go on. The place itself is very small. It's more of a to-go place. Granted they do have a counter with enough to fit maybe 3 people. There's seats outside and plenty of spots through the mall to sit and eat. But the place was pretty clean. Their menu offered quite a bit of fresher and healthier options to eat and drink. They had juices, sandwiches, smoothies and more, things that would be the right choice to eat after a workout. Service was pretty good in my opinion. There was only one person working there at the time we went (not sure if he was the owner) but he was super kind and had great customer service skills. He was working hard and explaining to us in good detail about some of the stuff we didn't know about (example the Vitale Sauce). Surprisingly, food was pretty good. The fish was fresh and he packed the bowl pretty well. The fish had a really nice color to it so that was reassuring. We got two small bowls (around $13 per bow) and one medium bowl (Around $15 per bowl) and we did think price matched what we paid for. The worker was also very generous on the toppings. I do see myself coming back here. I think it's smart that it opened up right next to the gym. But they're really good poke and at the same time, some of their sandwiches and juices caught my eye, so I will definitely be back to try them again.
