Awesome poke bar nestled in the former location of Capriccios pizza. They make salad or ricebowls with fresh fish and awesome garnishes/sauces. There's been a trend of poke bars popping up, but I didn't think we'd get one in Leander so iwas pleasantly surprised. I love getting the medium with three protein choices, and typically get salmon and spicy tuna with crab. There's a pretty vast selection of garnishes and sauces to make your bowl your own, which I really enjoyed. My favorite was the garlic poke and Korean gochujang (spicy). Aside from the bowls being very visual appealing, they're also delicious and light too. The staff is super friendly too. So if you're a fan of seafood, I'd highly recommend trying this out! read more

Affordable poke at a good price. No complaints here. My only dislike was that they don't use sushi rice but the brown rice was tasty and I loved the texture. This place is similar to other poke spots with it being chipotle style and pretty customizable. You can either do customization or order off a set menu. The options range based on amounts of protein scoops. We got the medium with 2 scoops of protein. Taste? The fish was decent, it was definitely poke quality and the fish didn't taste fishy like some poke spots. I tried the salmon and tuna and enjoyed it! I recommend their original sauce if you want the classic ahi tuna taste without the mayo. Price came out to be about 26 for the both of us and I wouldn't mind coming back for sure! read more

Great poke bowl but walking in and not having a vital ingredient (salad for the bowls) and no way to make it better or offer a solution makes this place go down. Other places are cheaper and offer more options, not an add on for additional things. Unfortunately, This is the only option in Leander. read more

So, I grew up in Hawaii and my wife and I miss Poke so much. This place, though the fish seems fresh and tastes good and the items you can add taste good, is by no means Poke. This was more like hot rice with veggies and sashimi on top. The grocery stores in Hawaii sell dozens of different types of Poke. Bite sized chunks of fresh fish, amazing sauces and all kinds of different things all mixed up inside. One at this store called times supermarket was called "broke da mouth". It was amazing and I'd get some all the time. Sorry, off topic. Individually, the food items were alright. But it's not poke. read more

I've stopped by for a healthy lunch and my expectations were exceeded. I opted for the medium bowl with 3 proteins. Since this was my first time here my server made some great recommendations as I wanted some spice. Everything was fresh and had the proper mild kick that I sought. My Med bowl with 3 proteins was more than enough to keep me full the rest of the day. Next time I'll probably go for the Med with 2 proteins. Very nice alternative to the fast food he-double hockey sticks- that permeates the area. read more

Really disappointed in how Poke Fit handled an order through Uber Eats. I ordered two poke bowls and one was missing all of the protein. The item was $15.99 and Uber eats refunded only $5. I called the restaurant and they said they could not help bc it was a third party delivery. Even though they made the item and it was their oversight I still need to pay for it. Really sad. I liked this restaurant but the customer service and care is sub par. read more

I ordered the Salmon Fit bowl. The salmon was very fresh. All of the ingredients worked well together and are items I would have selected had I been creating a custom bowl. I ordered online and it was on a table waiting for me when I got there about 20 min later for contactless take out. The reason for a one star deduction is that, for me, there was way too much mayo. I also requested extra spicy and it lacked any discernible spice at all. Luckily, I filled little plastic cup with sriracha when I picked it up. I would probably order take out at the counter next time so I could share, in person, exactly what I would like. read more

We recently ordered both poke and a cooked dish, chicken teriyaki. Both were very good, but the poke was definitely my favorite. I ordered a large bowl with mixed greens, salmon, tuna, imitation crab meat, and seaweed salad. They offer several sauces and two of my favorites are the spicy mayo and the wasabi alioli. read more

Fresh & delicious. Staff is super friendly. Clean and modern minimalist look. I'm obsessed with this place! Some of the add-ons are pricey- $2 for avocado is a little excessive- it's free at other poke places I've been to. Also, wish you could do seaweed salad as a base- again, like other poke joints. Food was ready quickly. Quality was not bad. When they said "scoops" they literally meant like ice scream scoops of mashed up fish. There weren't many pictures for reference, but my poke bowl was okay. Spicy tuna and spicy salmon were actually spicier than I imagined. read more

Eh the bowls are fantastic and very fresh. However, very stingy on ingredients and really disappointed with the way they have handled food handling since Covid-19. No gloves or masks as they are handling food which should be mandatory even without virus. This is a good poke option for Leander but would really like to see more in safety and prices seem high compared to Austin poke bowl places. read more

I'm so happy I found this place. It's honestly the best poke restaurant in Austin, even though it's not really in Austin itself. Location is a little odd, but once you find it you'll be surprised to find great quality poke for a decent price in a nice little restaurant north of Austin. I rarely comment on how restaurants appear on the inside, because the food is what counts the most, but this place is really nicely decorated and I feel as if the owners went above and beyond to create an inviting atmosphere. read more

I've been here pretty much daily since they opened! It's amazing food, great prices, and the staff are amazing! I usually make my own bowl with a rice and salad base! It's amazing that way! If you've never had poke you can ask for samples of everything. They even made sample owls for my kids without charging me because I wasn't sure if they'd eat it or not. My kids are so picky and even they loved it. Plus kids meals come with dumplings that are just as delicious as the poke! read more

Great Poke place in Leander. I was here for work over the week from Houston and was craving something fresh so I yelped Poke. Found this gem. Went in around 2 in the afternoon and no one else was in there. The girl behind the counter was super friendly. I got a large bowl (which is plenty by the way.) white rice, tuna (4 large scoops) and a lot of fresh toppings. It was filling and satisfying. I ended up going back a second day and got tuna/salmon. Which was equally as good. They have a punch card rewards program. Don't forget to grab one at check out! read more

The poke place was ok but compared to similar restaurants in the area, the toppings available were limited. The seafood was fresh and tasty. Great location and friendly staff. Definitely a place I will revisit when I am in the area. I've tried a similar place in California and this beats them hands down. I had the small bowl with soba noodles and filled up the bowl with the rest of the freebies, as you make the order as you go down the line. Seafood and the other ingredients are very fresh and makes all the difference. Decided to throw in a side of brussel sprouts. Just the right amount of char. I can only hope they open a location near my house. read more

Love the food here. The staff is super friendly, and the place is always clean. My family eats here a lot. Yes, it is nice to not have to drive far for poke and helps me resolve my poke cravings, but we really enjoy how nice these guys are. They had taken the time to get to know us, and not just treat us like another customer shelling out money. You can tell the appreciate their regulars, and they really try to keep customers' business. I have never been there and I do admit. I guess I should have asked for a fork and spoon. I got to my hotel and no utensils I guess they assumed I would eat it with my hands. And just drink my meso out of the plastic bowl. But I have never been there so most likely it was my fault for assuming it would have plastic utensils. read more

So... I'm actually the very first person to review Poke Fit. My review is buried in the "Not Recommended" reviews. Go look... I'll wait. "9/21/2017" is the date. I guess Yelp doesn't have any problem with silencing the voices of the people who decide to use their service. Read the TWENTY TWO "Not recommended reviews" that Yelp, in their shadiness, has hidden for this place. Yelp told the owners that they had to have been soliciting reviews on Yelp, since *no business* EVER has had that many new and highly positive reviews. I left Yelp awhile back for this kind of crap that they pull. Looks like they're still pulling this shady crap. Poke Fit is AWESOME. The owners and staff are awesome! The food is awesome! It's fresh. It's delicious. The owners have not solicited me or anyone else for positive reviews, but it's funny that Yelp has no problem hiding reviews when business owners refuse to pay Yelp to advertise with them... Yelp's business practices are questionable and Poke Fit kicks ass. read more

Stopped by Poke Fit.... because I'm sushi/Poke crazy. Now that there are 4-5 Poke options in the Austin area. It's in a pretty boring looking mini strip center. But it's clean, nice, and not decorated in "country" decor (rare in Leander). This place is on par or better than the other Poke places in town. Full disclosure: I'm a pretty stingy with my star rating. This place would have normally gotten 4 stars from me if it was in Austin. But it's in Leander. A place that does not have many creative food options. read more

We are definitely enjoying this gem in Leander ! I have gotten the special crab salad , the chicken teriyaki bowl and we have made a few bowls. The gyoza is very good too! It's a quick pick up or sit down and eat. The girl behind the counter is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and cozy. We are going to be frequent visitors. My only wish is they had more cooked meats for the bowls. It's mostly raw fish. But I get the crab and shrimp so it's fine. I would love to see smoked salmon in the future ! read more

Where do I begin? First off, I really liked the ambiance of this restaurant especially because they were all ready for the holidays and had holiday decorations up! You can never go wrong with that ( ; I also really like their wooden tables. I got the MEDIUM POKE BOWL, in which you can choose 3 main sashimi to go in your poke bowl. It was a good amount. I went with brown rice and mixed salad, along with salmon, spicy tuna and scallops. I also got most of the sides, just the way I like it! I really liked their spicy mayo and classic sauce mixed together. The reason why I'm giving it a 3/5 rating is because of the amount of protein and sides the server put in my bowl. Each protein and sides are given by scoops, but I felt like each scoop was more of half or 3/4 of a scoop. I think if they were generous about the ingredients including the sides, I would give this place another go. They did give a copious amount of sauce to top it off, so I felt like the sauce was overpowering all the other flavors in the bowl. Other than that, the poke bowl was fresh and delicious! read more

This is the best poke I have found in Austin! The tragedy is I live in South Austin so I have only made it twice ! Walking in it is cafe style, clean and mid size. I went on a Saturday recently and luckily it was not busy! My favorite thing about this place is you can add as many toppings as you like- and they have great options! Furikake, dried onion, dehydrated garlic, japanese red pepper (maybe togarashi?) , seaweed, cilantro, and excellent fresh fish, like scallops and tuna. If they open one south I'd be a regular for sure! read more

We finally made it back last Saturday for lunch, and it was definitely worth the wait. I was initially excited to try one of their bento meals after seeing the menu online, but the prices at the restaurant were much higher than what was posted. That's understandable considering how much costs have gone up over the years, so we decided to go with the AYCE option instead. It turned out to be the perfect choice. A special shoutout to our server, whose name I unfortunately forgot to ask. She was friendly, attentive, and honest enough to recommend that we not order too much at first because the tempura portions are much larger than expected. The portion sizes here are much bigger than what we're used to at AYCE sushi restaurants in San Antonio. The shrimp tempura and vegetable tempura were generously sized, with thick, crispy batter that was still flavorful and delicious. Some of our favorite were the Salmon Skin salad, which stayed perfectly crispy even with the dressing, and the Mushroom Soup, which was light, flavorful, and not thick or creamy like many other versions. The shrimp and chicken shumai, chicken karaage, mango rolls, and all of the sashimi we ordered were fresh and delicious as well. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Between the generous portions, fresh and tasty food, and outstanding service, Sushi Bang Bang reminded us why we enjoyed dining here years ago. I LOVE POKE FIT! I always come here and get my poke order to-go and when I tell you there's nothing like that first bite, I MEAN IT! Their ordering system can be confusing to the first timer but read about it before you get there or just ask, the staff is incredibly friendly and are willing to help. The ambiance is so chill you can definitely use it as a study place or take advantage of the table seating and dine with some friends. Patrons are making a ton of choices from all of the great options and, it can be time consuming. Today, I stopped by to pick up 2 bowls. Each had VERY different ingredients and sauces. The employee was patient and very accommodating. I was reading, off my phone, the options that my sister chose. Then, giving the options that I chose for the second bowl. He didn't skip a beat. Even more frustrating for him, I think, was asking for all of the sauces on the side. He didn't seem to mind. He graciously put all of the sauces in little cups. He also labeled them with a Sharpie. Nice touch! Before I move on with the review, I'd like to offer a suggestion for the side sauces. If you are taking your order to go, the sauce containers will ultimately tip over in the bag, on the way home. Although the containers are of good quality, the sauce often leaks out. Perhaps adding a quick wrap of Saran Wrap (or the like), would aid in keeping the multiple sauce containers from tipping over in the bag, on the way home. The fish has always tasted fresh! Not once have I eaten here and complained about the quality! Sometimes we don't want to go to a sushi restaurant to get good raw fish. It's also hard to trust a poke restaurant in a strip mall. Trust me on this, Poke House does the job! I've been to this location at least a dozen times. Not once, was I disappointed in the quality and service. I'm so glad that this place is so close to me!
