    $14 Regular Bowl
    In Y.

On my typical weekend, I was in the mood for sushi again. Since the last time I tried the Seattle Fish Guys, I wanted something different and saw PokeMe on UberEats. I placed my order through UberEats and picked it up from their food truck parked in Bothell. PokeMe has 2 main dishes on the menu: $14 regular bowl (2 scoops poke) or $16 island bowl (3 scoops poke). I ordered the regular bowl with Albacore and Wasabi Ahi and chose some veggies and toppings. As soon as I opened my order, I was disappointed because the portion of the food was very small. They put my order in a small to-go box. Please see the pictures attached if you want to know how small it was. I guess what they meant by 2 scoops is 2 scoops of a "small" spoon. I could actually count how many small pieces of poke they put in my regular bowl. Once I tried the poke, I was hugely disappointed. I don't even know where to start. The fish was not fresh. The best I can describe the quality of their fish was an almost inedible mushy mess. They also forgot to put wasabi on the side even though I requested it. I don't think it is worth explaining anything further but I would say this here - I had a stomach ache after trying their poke. I really want to support small local restaurants, but PokeMe is not worth it for me.

Pretty good poke! Glad to have seen this poke food truck outside Stoup since I was craving it. I like their selection options. I wish it came in a bigger bowl since it was a little hard to eat without spilling out. Service was quick. There's a piece of paper that you fill out the options you want and he whips it up!

If you like poke and this truck is in your area you need to hit them up. You can customize your order and get the perfect bowl for you. Ordering is easy. We had a couple questions and they were met with friendly and informative responses. I ordered the three scoop bowl for 12.00. I felt that was a very fair price for the quality and quantity provided. I will be stopping by this truck again.

Finally got to try this food truck and it was delicious. I frequent different poke restaurants but this was the first truck I've experienced. For the price I was bummed they forgot a couple things I added and I was still hungry after. I was looking forward to crab salad, that's always a nice add. The food itself is great but other places offer larger portions for less. If you are hungry I'm sure the three protein is the better option. I'd definitely try this spot again.

The Poke Me truck was pulling into ounces (place for beer) as I finished work. I knew I had to make my way there just for a poke bowl. I ended up with two. One for dinner and one for lunch the next day because the first one was so good. Gary was kind, quick to serve, and passionate about what he does. You can tell by how he filled each bowl with fresh tasting fish and beautiful arrangement for the eyes. Being originally from Hawaii, I will vouch for the establishment being the closest tasting to home. Although the poke is not pre marinated like in Hawaii, Gary explained it's because people may have dietary restrictions. He even had limy (seaweed) on the poke which is hard to find out here. His sauce that he packs on the side for you is a bit sweet and reminds me of sweet soy sauce that balances out the fish. I definitely like this place even more than Seattle fish guys for the service and customizable build. Definitely check it out! If you are in the West Seattle area his truck comes to ounces every week!

Good poke, fairly priced, I will hit this food truck again if given the opportunity. The 3 scoop was enough food for two people. The fish tasted very fresh. It was very straightforward and well executed. Im going with 4 stars vs. 5 because there was nothing particularly differentiate about it that makes it a stand out, or something I would crave, but it was very solid.

Little taste of Hawaii right here in WA! Fun treat and pretty trailer. Very colorful! Nice folks working inside. No masks though but they were wearing gloves. Poke seemed fresh and so are their veggies. I wouldn't say it's pure Hawaiian style poke but close. We enjoyed it but unfortunately, we did find a hair in the rice. Hubby and I split a 2 choice poke bowl and a 3 choice bowl so that we could have a little more variety! I think my favorite was the spicy ahi! The pickled daikon was actually pretty good. I think next time, I would order extra of that! We did get coconut water to go with our meal and it comes warm which was a bummer :( Overall, we would revisit again!

Back again at the food truck in Bothell at Hop and Hound. The food is as always exceptional and on par with what I'd find in Kona

Poke Me is one of my favorite poke places around Seattle! They come to a ton of your favorite local breweries and pubs in their awesome looking truck. The staff is super great and will not only remember you but will offer up some great choices for things to try! Go check it out!

    Shoyu and salmon!

We LOVE Poke Me! We've only been twice so far but both times our food was so fresh and amazing! You get so much food for the price! My favorite so far is the shoyu tuna but the spicy tuna and salmon are also great, and my husband loves the wasabi tuna. I love that they have so many topping options and since most are included in the price of the bowl, it got me to try some new things (like pickled daikon) that I now love! Everything seems crazy fresh and I've never once gotten a fishy taste from my food. The first time we went, the owner was super friendly and helpful. He explained everything on the list we had questions about and even let us sample something before we decided what to get. Watch for their location on Facebook! We love that they come up north to Everett and Snohomish! If you like poke, you NEED to stop by Poke Me! We'll definitely keep returning!

We tried this food truck when we were having beer at postdoc brewery in Redmond. Seems like they used to be in Kirkland and now they move around town and different breweries. You can build your own poke bowl just like any other poke place plus they have cilantro which I have not seen in any other poke place. I got spicy ahi, shoyu ahi and Albacore in addition to all the good toppings. For the amount of poke I got, I would say the price was very reasonable. We had the first couple of bites and really loved the poke. The spicy ahi was realllly spicy though. Poke is like mexican food in my opinion, it is usually good, everyone loves it, and it is kind of hard to make it bad, and this one was definitely one of the better pokes I have had. The only quibble would be that they have not that many sauces to choose from, nevertheless, it tasted really good. The guys sitting next to us asked how the poke is and I had just started bragging about how good it tasted when he told me he is the owner of the truck! We spent the next half hour chatting about different things. Super nice guy, with a really good tasting poke. Thank you Gary!

Amazing food and very friendly customer service! Would highly recommend them. This was my first time trying Hawaiian Poke My husband went with seafood & I went a more vegetarian route. It was so flavorful I didn't even need the soy sauce. Base: Mixed greens Poke: Regular & Spicy Tofu Veggies: Edamame, cucumber, cilantro, Mahi Onion/Green onion Toppings: FuriKake seasoning, Crispy onion

Yummy. Garlic Shrimp, Shoyou Ahi, Daikon, cucumber, edamame, furikake

Very Fresh. Quick. Great addition to Lake Stevens once a week versus the standard diner options.

Upon entering there is a little Asian mini mart in there with rice noodles, sauces and a few staple Asian items. They had a display cold case of their pies. The coconut cream pie looked yummy so I bought one. My order was ready within 15 minutes. I ordered the half Huli huli chicken and beef with an extra scoop of rice . Mac salad and a coleslaw was also included. They also have an assortment of small sauces to go, ranching from one star and up. I picked the crying tiger sauce, teriyaki and chili oil . This is a hefty mixed plate, enough for two or to have as leftovers for me. The beef is my favorite, seasoned and sauced well. I added the sauces to the huli huli chicken and it was superb, the chicken was moist and tender. I love Hawaiian Mac salad, it's the better type of Mac salads. I really enjoyed their Mac salad and the coleslaw. The coleslaw was a nice palette cleanser amongst the heavy but comforting meal. The coconut cream pie was good. Thankfully dine-in is back open again, so we got here on a Saturday morning around 11:20am to indoor seating that was nearly full and a small line that was forming at the front counter. Walls have a bunch of photo frames, and overall place felt very homely. They have a ton of Hawaiian style plates and even burgers and some seafood, though we and most others got the former to eat. I ordered their chicken and pork combo Hawaiian style plate, and my bestie got their chicken katsu Hawaiian style plate. Portions are huge for both plates and both also came with macaroni salad. They give you sooooo much meat no matter what you get. To go in slightly more detail: - Chicken and pork combo: both meats were flavored very well, and a little sweet too though pretty salty without using the rice as a palette cleanser. Chicken had more depth in its flavor; the pork's flavor was a little too much for my liking, and was slightly harder to chew. Both meats had some sauce hat went onto the rice itself. This didn't detract from my overall experience here, though. - Chicken katsu: we both agreed this was our favorite after exchanging pieces of each other's dish. The katsu is crispy and crunchy, and the chicken itself retained a lot of its juiciness. Katsu sauce on the side is honestly optional since the meat itself is already salty enough. This place does share extremely limited parking with Cakes of Paradise next door, so get here early or be prepared to drive around the area to find some. Then it was too many staff, not many customers and it was difficult to get service, that has been improved upon. They are nice and attentive when they see you. Service was normal, the wait staff came around and offered more beverage. This time it was still slow period, so what gives it only 3 stars instead of more? It's the fact that the main door the employee use to go into the kitchen to give their orders to the cooks had cob webs on the top of the door.i mean everyone of them walk through that door hundreds of times throughout the week because I could tell it's been there for some time. Where's the food inspector, should be a concern because if it's there in full view of customers and employees, what else is happening as far as cleanliness at Kona Kitchen. I will be there within two or three days and wonder if the cobweb will still be a fixture there... it's something that is annoying because nobody's done anything about it. Amazing.

This was at 12:30PM and there was a long line out the door and around the corner, taking almost 30 minutes. I had previously visited on a rainy winter weekday for lunch and there wasn't a line at all. What a difference the day and weather can make! While in line we could see the chefs cutting up ahi fresh right in front. The longer line gave me time to chat with the owner as he was trimming off the skin and other bits. I learned that tuna skin is much tougher than salmon skin so can't be eaten like salmon skin chips. He also said that the trimmed parts can be taken for free if anyone wants them. Apparently they make good crab bait! Medium w/ Rice, Traditional Limu Ahi, Hamachi, Mac Salad ($21.50) - I love the Hamachi poke mix. It's fresh, tender, and buttery fish tossed in a creamy and slightly spicy sauce, filled with little briny pearls and plenty of aromatics giving a super umami bite. The Limu Ahi is very fresh as well - I mean, it's sliced right in front, and there's so much turnover of the food that's it's pretty much guaranteed fresh. The tuna is fresh and tender, but there's noticeably more sinew compared to the hamachi. The Mac Salad is also really good. It's super creamy and the macaroni isn't overcooked so it still has some bite. The rice is unfortunately the weakest item in the bowl. It's a little too dry for my tastes and is only lightly tossed with rice vinegar, giving a tangy flavor. Overall all the poke is fresh, the flavors all meld together into a delightful balanced bite, and the sauces are not overwhelming. Ono Poke definitely serves some great poke!
