This has got to be one of Pasadena's medal winner for being in business, in the same space, for more than 15 years (it may be more, but that how long I've been going there :) Needless to say, if you're looking for a great tea drink: flavorful, natural, fresh, and yummy... come here. And if you're feeling hungry, dive into the poke bar. Personally, I love their rice rolls: salmon, spicy tuna, and more. With excellent friendly service and fantastic food, PokeMix is an A+

I'm from Hawaii & this place hits the spot when I'm craving poke. Quick, friendly service, & easy to order. My go-to is the small (2-choice protein) build your own bowl. They have a current Happy Hour special on weekdays from 3-6pm where you get a free drink with any bowl :) They also have a nice & clean restroom for customers.

A follow up review to the owner's reply: The portion is definitely not the same size. You skimped out on both, rice and fish. It was 30% less. I've been eating at your restaurant for the last 7 months, regularly. I can tell the difference. The bowl is the same, yes. But the contents of the bowl are way way less this time. A very small portion for $21!! This is medium size. It used to be bigger. Bought it for lunch but definitely need to buy another small meal to hold me up until dinner. Not going back. Also, they forgot wasabi. Two stars for freshness.

Sushi was great quality, average price. The pike was also really good quality, the salmon marinade was the perfect blend of spicy and a kick of sweet. LOTS of sides available. Boba slushee was also really good, not overly sweet The staff was super friendly and looked genuinely happy to be doing this, he's gotta be the owner or something. My only suggestion is some sort of music or background noise. Other than that the inside is cute and minimalist. Very clean

Clean environment, rapid service, and good poke! The happy hour from 3-6pm is a great deal, free drink with bowl.

Tried this place for the first time and really enjoyed it! Minimal options for toppings (which I prefer), and the fish was very fresh. Quick and friendly service. Will be back!

I have been craving poke bowls for the last few weeks. I saw PokeMix on Lake Ave in Pasadena and said BINGO! I was hooked. Staff was super friendly. Atmosphere was nice and comfy. Good space with lots of inside seating. Besides poke bowls, they also sell boba drinks. They have a small water station available for customers. They even sell some trinkets or something of the like. Here is how it works... bowl is one size, but the number of scoops of fishes and seafood come in 3 sizes. Small $12.99 = 2 scoops, Medium $14.99 = 3 scoops, Large $16.99 = 4 scoops. An extra scoop is $2 per scoop. Go for the Large! I did and so glad I did... it was very very tasty and delicious! I got half brown rice and half salad as my base plus Ahi Tuna, Salmon, and Scallop with all the wet and dry toppings mixed with House Poke, Eel, and Spicy Miso sauces. I thought I would take some poke home, but I couldn't stop eating it and before I knew it, it was all gone in my tummy LOL. Please note they have limited selection of fishes and toppings, but still adequate for a great poke bowl. Before I left, I was curious about their tea drinks. I ended up getting a medium Green Milk Tea with mango jelly. It was good, but a tad more bitter than I would have preferred. I asked for no ice, but still got ice. No big deal... I just scooped the ice out. I definitely recommend this place. I know I'll be back for more great tasting poke bowl!

I ordered delivery and was really disappointed, especially with the spam rice ball. I was charged $3.99, but look at what I got... I could barely find any spam--just a few tiny pieces, maybe 3-4 micro-sized bits. Definitely not worth it!

Sushi looked and is fresh! Their service was very nice! I would definitely come here again :)

Ordered my food ahead for pickup which said 15-25 minute pick up time which isn't bad for mid day in a business area. I placed my order when I was about 15 minutes away walking. I use my lunch break to take a walk outside so picking up the food vs delivery made more sense. My food ended up being ready in 3 minutes which was perfect! My only issue was when I arrived my food was just sitting on the counter instead of in a temperature controlled environment. a little disheartening since the food can spoil rather quickly. Overall the food was great & I would try it again. Next time around I will order in store and hopefully can still avoid any lines.

It's great to have so many fresh elements in one bowl, taste great!

Great food, great service, great vibes! Highly recommend if you're in the area. Absolutely loved this spot! The interior is stylish yet cozy, perfect for both a casual meal or a special night out. The food is packed with flavor -- especially the [insert dish name] . Service was warm and thoughtful, which made the whole experience even better. Will for sure be back again soon!

Awesome customer service, clean space. Parking is street parking. Indoor space no outdoor. I added house poke, spicy mayo, and spicy chili. And taste delicious!

Eh, it's fine. Staff was polite enough, but pretty bare bone topping options. Didn't get a boba but for poke I'd go elsewhere.

With tax it came out to $7.74, and I tipped $2 for the excellent service. Now the backstory: I only had 15 minutes to grab food and eat before running back next door for my appointment. I walked in and was greeted and helped instantly. I was helped by a female staff member with a blond pixie cut (if I remember correctly). I had been walking around in the sun, so when I walked into their store I felt pretty dizzy from the heat, and the board looked blurry to me. Therefore, I didn't even bother to look at the menu board. I told her I would need something quick, and I didn't have the stomach for a Poke Bowl. I asked her if she had any ramen. She kindly walked me through the different types of ramen instead of telling me to look at the menu board. I then picked the udon she mentioned. When she walked to the ramen station to make the udon, I checked whether that would leave me enough time to eat, since I only had 10 to 15 minutes. She said no, the udon would take a while. I asked, what about the ramen? Wouldn't that be quick, just adding water? She answered no, it would take the same amount of time. Then she mentioned the only quick one is the Poke Bowl, and I told her I wasn't feeling Poke at the time. She then gave me two other options, and one was the Spam Musubi. She stated those were premade and a quick bite. She asked how many I wanted. I checked if it came individually wrapped. She confirmed yes and told me the price of each, $3.99, or two for $7. I chose two. She grabbed them for me and rang me up. She asked if I needed chopsticks, and I nodded. I looked at her with a grateful heart and said, "Thank you for your patience." She smiled and said, "You're good." That was very nice of her to take her time with me. I will return and try their Poke Bowl next time. By the way, I cannot fully vouch for the Spam Musubi, because I was starving when I had them. I had been walking around Old Pasadena in the sun for hours with only a Pink Dragon in me. By the time I ate the Spam Musubi, I was starving and in a rush. They did satisfy the hunger. The Spam Musubi are a great choice for something quick, affordable, and easy to eat on the go.

One employee asked if I'd like crab and seaweed salad. I said yeah. Crab is probably imitation crab. I like that the crab and seaweed salad are free. I don't think other poke bowl restaurants serve them for free. I like how the sauces and toppings are labeled on the display cases or glass. I didn't see the trash can so I asked an employee where I was supposed to place the tray and bowl. He said he could take it. Employees were kind. One employee said I'd be paying with cash since I had a $20 bill out. There are at least 4 tables inside. Music played through the speakers. Chairs were stools. A small plant was placed on each table. They seemed real. One table had 2 chairs on each side. Tables were grouped together. There are tables outside. Natural light filtered through the floor to ceiling windows. I could feel the AC inside.
