I've never actually been here in person but this is a very delayed posting of a review I wrote of a takeout order from a couple of months back. I was honestly very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. I'm not a huge poke fan, so I was fairly dubious when my manager suggested we order poke from PokeMix, but it turned out great. I had white rice with salmon and some other toppings, and in all honesty it was the first time that I'd truly enjoyed poke. The fish was high quality and well prepared. The sauce was delicious. The rice was well cooked. There was honestly nothing to complain about whatsoever. To tack onto my order, I also got a green milk tea with boba. I had 0 expectations for this whatsoever (I mean, let's be real, it's boba at a non-boba place) and was shell-shocked. The milk to tea ratio was perfect, as was the sweetness. The boba was well cooked (not perfect but close) and had just a hint of honey. I'd consider going back just for the boba. Drink: 4/4, boba, 4.5/6. If it were a boba place alone it would be in my top ten for Pasadena/SGV. So yeah, definitely give PokeMix a try. Also a few days later I realized my friend from Pokemon Go (Johnson) is the owner. I had a self-date today. After working out, I went here to try it out for the first time. Pretty solid I should say. I enjoyed myself and will definitely come back. It's great if you wang something quick, healthy, and yummy to eat. Unfortunately I took the photo after having a few bites. I orderes a small with half brown rice and half salad. My topping included: salmon, blue crab, seaweed salad, edamame, and those orange thingies in sushi (forgot the name) i was impressed because I thought the small only had 2 toppings but I guess they meant 2 protein scoop. :) Also had their peach mango iced tea. Got the thai tea boba with almond milk here. This is the only place that when you ask for 0% sweetness-- they don't add any kind of sweetener. Nothing in my drink was sweet and I'm like that. All other boba places will still be sweet @ 0% sweet. I I'll come back to their their food next time. The staff are super nice and friendly. read more

PokeMix is by far my favorite poke place in Pasadena (if you count Whole Foods, there are 5 poke joints at the time of this review - I have tried 4, as I think the newest one is still under construction at the moment). A small offers up two hefty scoops of fish. I usually go for the spicy tuna x2, unless their special fish that day tempts me and then I'll get one scoop of each. They don't charge extra for anything except avocado, and the topping to bowl ratio is just right. While their prices have gone up since opening, I still feel it's the most bang for your buck when it comes to poke bowls. I don't usually get any tea/boba drinks, but I do enjoy their mochi buns when the craving for something sweet hits. There's plenty of seating, wifi, and parking in the rear if you don't want to deal with the metered spots in the front. read more

My Poke accomplice (Kym B.) and I decided to give this a try one evening and we both had no regrets. This was the first time I exposed myself to Poke so I was a little apprehensive about the whole process and how the whole assembly line works. The lady that served us was extremely kind and tolerant of us two newbies. She walked us through each step of the course. She explained what to start with, the sizes, the rice (they have both brown and white), the greens, different fish, the toppings, the sauces and etc. She gave great suggestions with picking what tea to drink and what combination of foods paired well with each other. I loved the ambiance and decor of the place, it's a great atmosphere to sit and talk with friends. Throughout our stay we were checked on regularly by the manager. I could tell she genuinely wanted us to have a fantastic first exposure with Poke. It was obvious to me she took great pride in her business and wanted the best for her customers. Solid poke bowl! I had this delivered to me and was surprised at how generous the portions are. Got a medium bowl with three different fishes and I was so full afterwards! The salmon was cut nicely, and the fish was fresh. I wish they do have a bigger variety of toppings (maybe it was because it was delivered so I didn't get the full menu) but everything tasted well together. They are generous on portions, but avocado does cost extra! I need to actually visit the location next time and also try their teas- but so far, so good! read more

I used a third party food delivery service (I won't say which one, I love them so I'll forgive a mistake) and they neglected my order from here! Pokemix made the order ASAP but a driver showed up... 40 mins pass their closing time, 80mins after the food was made... However Jessica who works here was adamant to stay pass closing and not let them cancel our order and offered to credit us and make sure to have the food delivered. I super admire businesses that will do what it takes to get things done and I appreciate this quality and thought. The food was great (if you get spicy mayo and/or peanut sesame along with house sauce) and I'm impressed with the outcome of a bad situation. Grateful! read more

I had the chance to try PokeMix by Flour + Tea today in Pasadena. I had the large bowl with a choice of four different proteins to choose from. Scallops, shrimp, salmon & ahi tuna. Additional add ons was cucumbers seaweed salad, garlic chips and sesame. I must say that the poke bowl was tasty & delicious. Next time I will probably skip the garlic chips. A bit too strong for my taste. Outside seating is available so you can smell the breath of fresh air, watch the cars & people passing by. read more

I've gotta agree with Katie B, this place has my vote for best poke quality and taste in the area. I had salmon and ahi tuna and the fish was really fresh and flavorful on its own. I guess that's why they don't have as many sauce choices as other places? The serving size and cost make it a tiny bit more expensive, but the real added cost is the avocado for an extra dollar. My husband got a large bowl and gave me half of his avocado which worked out well. I made mine a combo with a green milk tea and it had just the right amount of sweetness and tea flavor. I will go again since it's so close to home. Note that the parking lot in the back doesn't allow you to enter the building on the back side you need to walk around Green St to Lake. read more

This is the second Flour + Tea location and is more spacious than the original store with ample seating. Along with tasty breads and teas, they've now added customized poke bowls to their menu! I came here for a private soft opening and was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the poke bowls are. There are three sizes to choose from, starting at $8 for a small and $12 for a large. Then, you choose a base: rice, salad, or half & half. Proteins include crab, shrimp, ahi tuna, salmon, and spicy tuna. You get two scoops of proteins (in the small bowl) and you're allowed to mix and match, so I went with ahi tuna and spicy tuna. The ahi tuna is fantastic, so I definitely recommend going with that or the popular salmon. Next, you choose your add-ons: seaweed salad, dried garlic chips, cucumber, avocado, wasabi, spicy mayo dip, and hot sauce. Copying the Chipotle model, the food is fresh and the process is simple. Whenever I'm in the Pasadena area and in the mood for a light, fresh meal, I'll be coming back to Flour + Tea. My only slight complaint is that there isn't much food in the small bowls, so I'll probably be getting a medium or large next time. PokeMIX is the BEST place to get studying done if you're in the Pasadena area and like onigari (riceballs)/specialty teas! I came here to study for my finals with my younger sister the other week. We came for the free WiFi, but we were fortunately both blown away by the quality of their rice balls and specialty teas. I got 2 salmon rice balls ($3-4 each). They were made with PURPLE HIBISCUS INFUSED rice; how cool is that!? Not only were they aesthetically pleasing, but they were deliciously savory too! My sister had their special fruit tea named "Bad Kitty." Usually fruit teas are either too tart or too sweet for my sister, but luckily there was nothing "Bad" about this one. In fact, this became my sister's new favorite drink and you can bet that we will be back from more! read more

My first time here and not my cup of tea, at least regarding poke. So far this has been my least favorite poke bowl. I might give them another try to test out other items but definitely NOT Their poke. It is definitely a different take on poke especially compared to other places. Experience: - I was greeted by all staff upon entering which was quite pleasant. - not a good selection of fish, the options are super limited as in salmon and tuna (3 different types/prep of tuna) & crab that I was able to see and was offered. The tuna offerings didn't look very fresh. Fortunately the salmon look ok so I stuck with salmon only. - sides are also very limited (4 total consisting of seaweed, cucumber, edamame and masago eggs). No ginger was offered which happens to be a favorite of mine - prep is different, they do not mix your fish with the sauce of your choice, it is drizzled over your whole bowl AFTER everything has been put into your bowl - my biggest dislike: HOT rice. Why they serve hot rice with a traditionally COLD poke bowl is beyond me. The gal said that since the rice was very hot she suggested to put a bit of salad underneath. Which was a big mistake, since all it did was cook the salad. Which created bizarre combo for me of hot, cooked salad with my COLD raw salmon. - perhaps the gal was new but I had to up-sell myself on a beverage. They had a tray of tea samples which I had to inquire about and test out on my own. The oolong tea was quite tasty without any sugar, the other tea was too sugary for me. -Parking: it's a hit or miss depending on the time of day. Dude, there's a poke sighting for haoles in Pasadena... I'm beginning to hear about more poke places opening in the southland and it's something that Pasadena could desperately use. Haven't been to Nikka's but their poke seems limited to an appetizer and this is something that I would have expected more from Wahoo's down the street but we'll see where this leads... These are the same guys as the F+T on the corner of Arroyo and Cordova sans the cakes, but I haven't really been since the parking there is awkward. At this new store on Lake, they foray into something a little different and try their hand at offering poke in a format like so many burrito and pizza places these days. You walk in and the environment is new and clean, even sterile by some standards. Seating is diverse for solo's against the window or more conventional four-tops, but the place is not really that big. I saw a grand total of one table with a couple of chairs so I don't think that qualifies as really having outdoor seating; it is on the ground floor of an office building after all. As I mentioned, it's a typical order, pay, and squat format... The menu is still pretty basic at this time, you can get a bowl or a salad, or half and half. Three sizes sm, med, and lg. depending on whether you want two, three, or four scoops of fish/protein. Just keep in mind that the dishers are just average in size and the coarseness of the dice of the fish greatly determines how much you actually get. Case in point, the scallops are oyster cracker sized and so I got a relatively larger number of them compared to the larger, chunkier albacore pieces which also includes chunks of onions as well (if I wanted to limit the amount of fish per scoop that's what I would do...) So far I've had the Ahi Tuna, Albacore, and the Scallops. Their flyer indicated that they were to offer Salmon but I haven't seen it yet. Haven't tried the Spicy Tuna, Shrimp, or Kanikama yet but you know it's imitation when they spell crab with a "K." Kidding aside, the fish is not sashimi grade but still ok fresh. What makes it ok for poke though and more in line with what I'm used to is that the fish is usually marinated in the sauce already, here they don't do that. The same can be said of the Hawaiian Salt which I think all good poke needs. I appreciate that they give you the choice of how much of these condiments you want but there's going to be a trade-off between keeping the fish fresh and flavor infusion... As long as they ask on-the-fly what the customer wants, the customer is going to ask for more, that's just the way it is. I happen to like masago, the little orange fish eggs you see at sushi bars. Using a demitasse spoon just seems cheap... I don't personally think it's good poke without sesame oil which they hesitatingly gave me when I asked for it the first time, and didn't offer it at all the second time. The nori strips which were also offered the first time were missing the second time I came back. While you're at it, I wished they would offer some diced avocados, they would be awesome... We also tried the Passion Green Tea unsweetened but I'm not partial to the flavor of these syrup based beverages, but there's a lot of flavor for an unsweetened green tea. The Green Tea Mochi bread was as sweet as a Hawaiian roll and the green tea mochi filling was jellied so I didn't care for it as much... Dude, I ain't complaining, but this is some half-decent poke for Pasadena haoles out during lunch. I know it's early and they're still getting the feel of it as far as their poke is concerned but they are pretty convenient to satisfy an occasional poke craving. I was pretty disappointed by this place. A friend had recommended it to me because he liked it better than Spinfish in Old Town. Parking: I parked in the free lot behind Veggie Grill/Chipotle/Jamba Juice and just walked over. Not a far walk but would be nicer if I could have parked closer for free. Otherwise it's paid meters on Lake in front of the store. It cost about $8.75 for a small (2 scoops of any of the fish you'd like) + rice or salad (you can do half/half and they have brown or white rice) + any of their toppings (seaweed salad, cucumber, sesame seeds, their sauces). Avocado for a tiny scoop costs $0.75 extra. I got the small size and thought that their portions were okay but that everything tasted like... nothing. The fish had no flavor and they didn't have many sauces to choose from (only 3 I believe). I got the poke sauce and even after that was added to it when I ate the bowl I felt like I was just eating very bland rice and fish. I'd recommend Spinfish in Old Town instead as they have many flavorful options to choose from and I would say is more worth the money you pay. Also they give you freshly cut cubes of avocado instead. Won't be coming back here, definitely the blandest poke I've had so far unfortunately. read more

My favorite new healthy lunch spot!!! I have always had a love for Flour + Tea since their tea is such high quality and they adjust the sweetness to my liking and use honey when I ask. This place is like an addition to FT already great tea. They have a simple system, order size small (2 scoops), medium (3scoops) or large (4 scoops). You get rice or greens or a mixture of both as a foundation then a choice of scoops of poke (raw fish) with some that are always there and some that are seasonal. I've had ahi, salmon, yellow tail, and spicy tuna. I've seen scallops, shrimp and Krab (pollock). These are scooped onto the greens or the rice (brown or rice). Then you are offered seaweed, cucumber, edamame, wasabi, roe, garlic, sesame and sea salt. They offer many sauces too such as mango sriacha, spicy mayo, house sauce. All and all it's tasty and I've been there four times in two weeks. read more

I was rather excited to give this place a try, but after giving it a chance, I'm very disappointed. Upon arrival, there was no greeting, no inviting voices to let the customer know what options they have. The menu is rather simple to browse, I'm not that idiotic, but it just seemed rather BLAH. I decided to go with medium bowl, which includes 3 scoops of protein. You can choose your base such as white rice, salad, or half and half of each. I'm not a health freak or anything, but I was very surprised to see there was no option of brown rice. The young lady that was helping me was very timid, not inviting, and seemed very scared to scoop the fish. I picked the ahi tuna, albacore, and spicy tuna. You have no idea the DISAPPOINTMENT I had when I watched her scoop the fish. They were 3 TINY scoops of fish, which the young lady sheepishly scooped. The ahi tuna and albacore had no more than 4 pieces of fish, which was paired with large diced chunks of onions. The spicy tuna had too much flavor of heaviness such as their spicy mayo. It was a reminder of why I disliked the spicy california rolls. The whole bowl had 3 large scoops of rice, which was way too sticky, and the lettuce was boring. They offered toppings such as masago, seaweed, poke sauce, sesame seeds, and spicy mayo sauce. Everything was skimped on. Fish is an important part of poke. Nothing was stand out about the fish. There was no flavor, which tasted just like dull boring fish. The onions were too large. Really no taste, nothing POPPED. After spending $10 and some change, I don't think I enjoyed it much. People who came in to the store to look at the fish, walked straight out. I should have done the same. Very friendly employees here, which is always a plus in my book! They explained the items and how to order to me and the boyfey, and gave us helpful reccomendations which were much appreciated! Their fish were pleasantly tasty and fresher than I expected, having just had poke from North Shore Poke in Huntington Beach, and the sauces were light enough without being overpowering. The salmon was by far my favorite protein of choice, though I may be biased because I just love salmon.The scallops were ooookay, at least it failed in flavor compared with the other proteins I tried like shrimp and tuna, but everything else I liked quite a bit. I also love the teas and the fresh atmosphere of the cute little joint. It's not THE BEST poke in the world (Bear Flag takes my stomach with that one), but it is definitely one of the top choices if you are craving poke in Pasadena :) read more

PokeMix is my favorite poke place in Pasadena. The environment is the nicest with a nice tea shop feel, and most importantly, the fish is the highest quality! The small yields two scoops of fish (I got tuna and salmon)(fyi, albacore is an upcharge) and I plopped them over brown rice and greens. The toppings are per usual - seaweed salad, cucumber, masago, but my favorite are these little rice cracker balls that they shake on at the end. Very excited about this Poke place! I'm a fan of poke, and I'm a fan of Flour+Tea. The only gripe I have is that my large plate with salmon, scallops, spicy tuna and tuna was too salty. This can of course be fixed easily, but I definitely was hoping the servers were masters of the flavors since they automatically add on the sauces for you. A tip is to get the dried garlic and soy sauce on the side. I'm actually not sure if it's soy sauce they use, but the dark brown sauce added more salt to the already seasoned fish. Everything tasted really fresh, but there were just too many different flavors going on. Prices are fair, and two people can certainly share the large (choice of 4 fish). They even offer brown rice and combination specials with a selection of drinks for only $1.99 more. Tea is definitely the specialty here, but this would my choice of poke around the area if I had a craving! read more

So I want to start out by saying that from the SECOND I walked in to Poke Mix, the owners and employees were SO incredibly nice and attentive to me!! The first thing that I super loved about this place... I am in LOVE with ALL things poke so I was super excited when my sister in law told me about this spot and it did NOT disappoint! It never does... I'm here ALL the time. Quality fresh poke, flavors and specials!! I love that you don't have to drown your food with sauces or anything... This poke place was such a letdown. Granted, I came here 30 minutes before closing so maybe that affected the quality and taste of the food? I'm not sure. All I know is I didn't enjoy my poke bowl. I ordered the large bowl with salmon, tuna, and shrimp over half rice and half salad to-go. I got it with all of the standard toppings and their poke sauce. They didn't mix the sauce with the ingredients, they just squirted it on top of the bowl and that was that. The bowl was incredibly bland. It almost tasted like there wasn't any sauce. By far, this was the blandest poke bowl I've consumed. I felt like I was eating each item on its own because there wasn't something that bound all of the ingredients and flavors together. Honestly, it seems like a tea place with a half-baked poke idea. They simply jumped on board the poke train without really thinking about the little nuances that make other poke places better. Poke is so in nowadays! Theres a few that opened up in Pasadena lately, and this is the second one I've tried. I had to try this place after seeing reviews on Yelp, and it did not disappoint. You can order small, medium, large (2, 3, or 4 scoops of fish, and you can mix it up, i.e. 1 scoop of salmon, 1 scoop of tuna) The first time I went they had salmon, tuna, scallop, and spicy tuna, shrimp. The second time I went they had hamachi, tuna, scallop, spicy tuna, and shrimp. (the hamachi was $1.50 extra PER SCOOP) the PROS: -They don't charge you extra for the seaweed salad and the roe! (Spin fish charges $1 extra!) They do charge you 75 cents extra for the guac. -$2 small milk tea or $2.50 large milk tea with purchase of a poke bowl! -They have other cool condiments, like different sauces (i recommend the spicy mango sauce), edamame, strawberry (?!), cucumber -Brown rice and greens: can mix! -I feel like this place is much more bang for your buck than Spinfish. more fish?? I'll have to make another visit to Spinfish to refresh my memory and update. But at Pokemix, 3 scoops (the medium) is less than $10?! I'm pretty sure Spinfish was more expensive than that? the CONS: -I feel like Spinfish did have more in flavor because theres so many choices on the menu to choose from, and each item comes with its own unique flavor mix profile. Poke mix does pour some "poke sauce" and hawaiian salt over your bowl, but the flavor profile is less. (the poke is already mixed with some sauce in the display) This is where the side sauces, which are free, come into play! spicy mango all the way All in all, this is closer to my apt, and located not in the heart of Old Town so less ppl (and both times I've been able to park in the street, put in some change in the parking machine, and go get my food) so parking aint THAT bad...(i guess this depends on time of day)... read more

This is by far the most authentic poke we have in east of LA area. I married to a Hawaii raised and moved back to LA from Hawaii a while ago. After trying other poke shops, whenever we craved for poke, we would go to PokeMix because it is the most authentic one. People might complain that there are not much toppings or too much rice, but that doesn't concern us; because no one eats poke with smashed avocado or seaweed or whatever on top of it in Hawaii anyway. It is understandable the way that poke shops in LA serve are different from Hawaii because it has to match the customers' desire. To sum up, we would go to this shop because of way the make the poke is correct and the quality and the cut of the fish they choose are pretty decent. Absolutely love. I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to my poke, so aside from sesame oil and seeds, I like to taste my fish. Sauce on side is a must! Plus, that way I know that the fish is fresh, and the cuts they are using are prime. This is the only spot in SGV that I consistently visit and don't feel sick afterwards - so I know they are clean, I don't always take in raw fish well, especially if it's not stored right. You can choose from a small, medium or large bowl, choose your sauces and if you your plate salted. My favorite is plain salmon, scallop and I add just a bit of soy. It's pretty much a chirshashi bowl with side salad, and they are always super generous with the fish. There's always seating and it's a bonus that I can pick up Flour+Tea pastries to take home. The flavored teas are really good as well, only $2 add on to my bowl. read more

Cons Poke: the only thing that could have been better was the poke dressing, it was plain where I had to add additional drops of soy sauce to get more flavor. I mean you pay a decent price expecting for a good amount of fish/protein. Portions are small and definitely does not satisfy my cravings. PokeMix had a great selection of choices btwn Ahi, Salmon, Scallops, Shrimp, Spicy Tuna, and decent toppings that included a generous portion of avocado for. 75. The medium bowl for 9.75 with three choices of protein with half greens and rice was super filling! The refreshing teas available are a total bonus! Not bad for a poke bowl! Poke restaurants have been all the rage lately and the SGV had been sorely missing good poke places. I'd never been to the original Flour+Tea though I've been meaning to for a while now. However, when I heard news of poke being served at their new location, I just had to try it. You can choose from 3 sizes, small, medium or large and opt for salad, rice or both. Then you choose your seafood, such as ahi tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, crab, shrimp and scallops. Add-ons are free and include a must-have seaweed salad, cucumbers, avocados and garlic chips. Lastly, you can choose spicy mayo and/or poke sauce. I chose the medium bowl, which gave me 3 scoops of seafood. The scoops looked small at first, but surprisingly, they added up to a lot of food and I couldn't quite finish everything. Though salmon is my favorite fish to eat raw, I was disappointed to find that they had run out of salmon for the day. Reading the rest of these reviews, it looks like other people encountered the same problem. Maybe stock up extra on salmon here since it's popular? I ended up choosing the ahi tuna, spicy tuna and crab. I'm not usually a fan of spicy tuna but this place had one of the best spicy tunas I've ever had. I've been to flour + tea previously, where I fell in love with their coffee milk tea--the perfect combination of coffee and tea. Unfortunately, this place doesn't carry the iced coffee but they do still have some of the same iced teas and pastries as the other location. This place does the California take on poke. I'm from Hawaii where a poke bowl doesn't contain all sorts of veggies, but I actually do like it with the added avocado and cucumbers! At poke mix you have the option of choosing your base, rice or salad, or doing half and half which I appreciated. The house poke sauce is reallyyy good. Apparently the chef is from HI! Better than North Shore Poke in Huntington Beach for sure! And possibly even a little better than spinfish on Colorado.. read more

Poke has noticeably been on the rise in this area. Comparing PokeMix to its competitors, I thought it was subpar. Came in for a poke bowl on a weekday evening and I was their only customer. There are three size options - small, medium, or large. You can pick rice (white or brown) or greens as your base. I asked for half and half but easy on the rice, thinking he'd give me more greens - nope! It was half greens and about a quarter of rice... Next comes the protein - salmon, tuna, spicy tuna, albacore, shrimp, or scallops. The large size comes with 4 scoops of protein and you can mix and match! Except the scoops are incredibly tiny, significantly smaller than my ice cream scoop at home! Finally, choose your add ons. I asked for seaweed, masago, cucumbers, edamame, and mango sriracha sauce on the side. Wasn't a big fan of the mango sriracha - it tasted like syrup mixed into hot sauce. I would prefer regular sriracha by far. For something that's considered large, I thought it was fairly small - it was about the size of a standard bowl from Spinfish. The fish wasn't bad in quality but bland in taste - I got salmon, tuna, and spicy tuna. The add ons weren't bad minus the mango sriracha. This poke restaurant is convenient for those who want a boba drink along with their meal, as it was originally a tea house before they added on the poke. They're better with the drinks, probably because they have more experience with them. Parking is a pain - only street meter parking available in this business district. 3.5 stars. Heard from our friends that a poke placed opened near Pasadena so my boyfriend and I decided to check it out. We arrived 45 minutes before closing and ordered right away. I ordered half spicy tuna and half ahi tuna. Also with fish eggs & ocean salad. The ahi tuna is chunks but doesn't have the sauce mixed within, it's poured on after they place it in your bowl. The spicy tuna is shredded. But overall, everything tasted fresh. The only thing I didn't like about this place is that the ahi tuna lacked flavor. It's probably because the sauce isn't mixed thoroughly with the tuna so it doesn't absorb much flavor. Also, when I was reaching half through my meal, the poke tasted funny and not as good - I realized that the poke was mixed with wasabi and I HATE wasabi. And this place doesn't give as much poke as I would like to (like the one in Buena Park) and we thought they would considering it was almost closing time. Final thoughts: it's probably the best poke place for Pasadena but not the best I've had in California. I'll probably give this place another chance - maybe going there earlier in the day would be a different experience. read more

Really really wanted to like it but, ya no. I lived in Hawai'i for over 7 years and move back a few years ago. Been on the hunt for good poke. The poke looked great at the shop but the taste was anther story to my huge disappointment. I really don't have high standards for poke on the mainland. The poke wasn't really cold, almost room temp, and I'm not sure if the brown rice wasn't cooked all the way or it was sitting for a while. Really was bummed, it looked so promising. Parking: street Payment: Cash or card Service: The server did her job but wasn't too friendly. The guy that rang me up wasn't too friendly either. They both didn't seem really into their jobs. Maybe I came at a bad time? Overall: I wouldn't be recommending this place but I'm willing to try it again in about 6 months in hopes that it improves. I know it's newer and they have challenges in the beginning. The Poke House in old town Pasadena is amazing. Drive the extra few miles, it is worth it. read more
