Hands down the best Poke spot I've been to so far. I haven't been to too many but for what it's worth, Pokeworks does it right! For the record, I'll be comparing Pokeworks to the Poke spots around my neighborhood (Forest Hills), which are are Kissfish and Poke Station. Pokeworks tops Kissfish by far and demolishes Poke Station. Poke Station shouldn't even be in this conversation. They suck beyond belief. We came here two days in a row. My wife's OBGYN is around here and we decided to give Pokeworks a shot. The store looks great, extremely clean and organized, great lighting, and most of all great staff. We ordered a bowl and burrito. The portion for both were amazing! Both ordered with 2 protein. The salmon and tuna here are cut nice and chunky. The color on both fish look very fresh as well. They have many toppings to choose from. I get just about everything but the jalapeño and chili peppers. Those two just didn't appeal to my taste with raw fish. I loaded my burrito up and was in doubt whether they could really wrap that burrito up without breaking it. They proved me wrong. That thang looked flawless! I don't know how they managed to stuff it with that much and wrapped it perfectly. It didn't even fall apart as I was eating it. My wife ordered the bowl and she was stuffed. It was incredibly filling compared to Kissfish. At Kissfish, at times I would wanna order two bowls but at Pokeworks, 1 bowl really hits the spot. On my second visit, I ordered a kids bowl to go for my son. Kids bowl is $5.99 but with chicken. You can substitute the chicken for 1 protein for extra $2. I got it with salmon, my son demolished it after school. He liked everything but the Lima beans. Verdict - I F'n loved it. I wanna go back for more each time I'm around Fresh Meadows or even if I'm driving past it on the LIE. They have a rewards card, 10 stamps gets you a free bowl. I am surprised it's not busier. Pokeworks is easily the best Poke joint in Queens and beats out all of the Poke I've tried in the city so far. It is delicious and I highly recommend it. read more

My sister and I had lunch here yesterday and it was her first poke bowl! The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. We added extras and the gentleman who assisted us mentioned it was extra so there were no surprises when we paid, which was appreciated because as costumers, we don't always pay attention to additional cost. Dear Alexandria, I'm sure you won't lose your job if you give me more than 4 pieces of shrimp. When I'm paying 14$ per meal, I expect to feel full and satisfied. I don't know what's up with the people in this joint, but half of them are too damn Cheap. I used to come here almost every day and started realizing the cheap inconsistencies and so I decided to take my business elsewhere. We get poke from here ALL the time. It's our go to poke spot in the area. The protein is always fresh and you can add endless amounts of toppings. They now charge an extra $1 for the kale noodles which were not an additional charge before, which makes me a little sad since this was always my base. The rice is good too and salad. Disgusting environment, worker sneezed into her hand while preparing my food and didn't wash/disinfect at all. continued to moan and groan about every extra topping i wanted to add to my custom bowl. Great food, great service, great location. I have always been more than satisfied with my poke bowls and I would recommend the new Korean Seoul bowl with the tuna (seasonal item) if you enjoy some spice and kimchi. The employees are very pleasant and all seem to work well with each other as well. It's always clean and there is free parking in the shopping plaza. There is also seating outside, but it is minimal because of social distancing. I usually just roll down the windows and eat in the car. This place serves great food, but I am never going back. Every single Poke bowl around me was stuffed with food and my bowl was half empty when I asked for almost all toppings. I asked for more protein as the women serving me gave me two pieces of tuna and charged me for a large. I don't understand how when i went to the cashier I was charged for a large and the guy standing next to me had his bowl over flowing and paid for a small. I would like to preface this review by saying their food is good. However the prices they are charging are unacceptable for the amount of food that they actually give. To charge $18 for a three protein bowl that literally has nonexistent portions is not acceptable. The guy who made my bowl literally counted the shrimp on my bowl to give me exactly three shrimps. I am not sure how this constitutes as a normal portion for anyone besides a toddler. The rice portion is small and the containers over the years have also shrunk in size. Everything is a tiny scoop of this and that. With the prices that are being charges at this eatery I am not sure how this can be justified in any manner. Charging extra for avocado is standard practice but when the avocado portion that you are receiving is a tiny teaspoon of an avocado is just flat out laughable. I am not sure why this place thinks its appropriate to skimp out on everything possible thinking clientele would actually want to come back to spot like this. read more

Quick, easy ordering process and the restaurant does take precautions for COVID. As pictured, I added quite a lot of different toppings into my bowl and multiple sauces (I reccomend wasabi aioli and spicy aioli if you enjoy heavier sauces), but the server was still generous, patient, and courteous. Food from here always tastes good and is quite filling. They also have a stamp card that they stamp for each bowl you order, which you exchange for a free bowl when completed. This place was pretty good. The fish looked quite fresh and they had quite a variety of add on toppings! Loved all the crunchy varieties! They were fresh and crispy when I got the bowl for lunch. I had the spicy tuna and salmon on white rice with pretty much all the free toppings except onions, kale, and red chili peppers. I chose medium Pokeworks classic sauce with light ponzu and light sriracha aioli. I'm still unsure what their classic sauce is supposed to taste like amidst the mix-ins. The bowl was pretty good overall, but I wish they were more generous with fish portions since it seemed drowned out by everything else. Maybe it's my fault for getting too many toppings, but if you go, you'll see they use small ice cream scoopers for proteins. The fountain drink stuff was interesting to try. If you're not a fan of kombucha and vinegar drinks like me, mixing it with the black tea makes it taste better, or maybe just stick with tea or organic lemonade. Service was nice. What a nice little surprised after a long day of work! I saw this place while going to Kohl's to return an amazon purchase. Since it is a new place, everything is nice and clean. The menu was easy to figure out, and the staff was very friendly, and helpful with the selections. Almost $17(with tax) for a large bowl (3 proteins) is not cheap, but tasty. If you are not on a budget, and want to eat healthy and lite, give this place a try. They also give students/vets/anyone who brings in an animal discounts. I ordered 3 proteins and got 2 scoops spicy salmon and 1 scoop spicy tuna. I had the Poke bowl with white rice. I added a bunch of toppings. Everything tasted good. The seafood tasted fresh and was seasoned well. My only issue is that you don't really get much protein for $15. If I'd get more protein for the price I'd bump up an extra star. A small bottle of Poland Spring is $2. I'm not even talking about the regular 16 ounce bottle. It's like a 10 ounce bottle for that price which is ridiculous. The Garlic Spam Musubi was tasty. Ordered from Ubereats and they messed up my order. They used the wrong proteins and when I asked for extra sauce they interpreted it as putting no sauce on my bowl and a small sauce on the side. By the time I got the order they had already closed so I couldn't do anything about the order. My friends and I ate here today after watching the new Star Wars movie. There was a steady stream of customers during our visit. I opted to make my own poke bowl: ahi tuna, brown rice, corn, lotus chips, jalapeño and a light dressing. It tasted very good and very fresh. Ohhh I love it here! I always make my own bowl usually with the kale noodles. In our neighborhood it's slim pickings for poke. They have such a large selection of toppings it's amazing. Tried the burrito for the first time and it did not disappoint. - rice bowl lover lol I told them to double up on the spicy salmon instead of getting 2 proteins cus I just really love spicy salmon and it's so good. Don't know how fresh their stuff is in the middle of the day but I went 5 mins after it opened and there were about 4 people in front of me and 5 in back. The miso soup was one of my favorites I've had, scrumptious. I'd also suggest trying the assortment of Tractor iced teas,all very tasty.
