A great new addition to Oviedo! I'm a huge fan of all things poke and I really like all the topping choices this place offers. They don't seem to limit you either, but there are a few that has an upcharge, like avocado. They have quite a few sauces to choose from as well, I haven't had the chance to try them all, but you can't go wrong with the Classic or the Umami Shoyu. My next visit I really want to try out the Ponzu Fresh. I think the sauces is what makes the poke great. It's still in soft opening and my only concern was the consistency of the rice. The first time I had takeout and the rice is a bit hard. The 2nd time, I dined in and the rice was too soft. I think once they get the right consistency on rice, this place would be awesome. I also wanted to try the garlic spam musubi, but they weren't serving it yet, so I can't wait to get the chance to try that as well. This place is located in the new Stone Hill Plaza. So yummy! I really like this place. Everything looks so good. So fresh and flavorful! I made a custom poke bowl and it was delicious. Spicy tuna is the bomb! There's tons of toppings here and good portions. Love that they don't charge you extra for seaweed salad. Oh and there's so many tea flavors and beverages! I usually doordash pokeworks all the time but I went in for the first time today and the 2 workers raven and lilly were the sweetest and so helpful when I was ordering. The food is 10/10 everything tastes so fresh and it's a pretty big portion size considering you get 2 proteins and then can throw in whatever else you want. This place is really worth your money, for about $10 a bowl you get a huge amount of food and variety of toppings and very little of the options are extra which is rare. Not sure why i was craving spam musubi. Probably because last time, they didn't have spam. So this time I called ahead of time, spoke to Dennis to make sure they had everything they needed in stock. He kindly ask when I am expected to arrive so he can have it ready. I was super excited! I arrived and still waited an extra 30 minutes. When the musbui was ready, it was presented in a small disposable dish wrapped in plastic wrapthere was no seedweed wrapper, nori, to hold all the ingredients together. Dennis told me they were doing something "new" and put shredded nori inside. The rice was floating in a pool of soy sauce. It didn't bother to eat it or try to open the package, then requested a refund. This does not look anything what the other helpers posted. read more

They have so many ingredients to add to your poke bowl that every time you go it's going to be a different experience as you try new things. I wanted to change my review because I only had one poor experience in the multiple times I have visit Pokeworks. I go here a lot on my lunch break because it is quick, reasonably priced, and delicious! I feel like it's rare to find something so fresh, fast, and affordable. The last two times I have been here the staff has been so pleasant. Alex (maybe Alec?) helped me the first time, he was so sweet! I told him I liked spicy food and he offered me a side of their new Sichuan sauce (so good if you like a nice kick). This last time I was cashed out by Trish, she was very nice and offered a discount since their reward program wasn't working. Pokeworks is by far the best poke in Orlando in my opinion. I always rave to my friends about this place and tell them that it's my favorite poke spot. Anytime I'm in the UCF/Oviedo area I try to stop by to get my poke fix. The staff is always really friendly and ready to answer any questions that I have. I usually get the large poke bowl with the choice of three proteins, which is more than enough to fill me up, without leaving me feeling gross and bloated. Everything is super fresh and I love the variety of mix-ins that they have. I usually add the hijiki seaweed for some texture, onions, cilantro, and I top it off with the pokeworks classic sauce- sooo good. For the added toppings I recommend the lotus crisps! They add a great crunch to the bowl and have a pretty neutral flavor. There was an incident where one of my proteins was missed from my online order (new staff so I get it), but Alex handled the situation very well and was quick to resolve the issue! The fish was super yummy and all of the ingredients tasted amazing! everything was very fresh! You get to dress everything with however much toppings you want with no extra charge (not the fish obviously but the sea weed salad, crab salad, edamame, etc ). The people here were very nice! we even got to try the teas they make in house for free because we were "first-timers"! the tumeric tea was delicious.
