Thank you Poki Poki for totally redeeming yourselves!! i've been here twice this past month :) i just had to give them another shot frm having a not so great experience a few years back. i didn't leave a negative review because in my heart it wasn't the food it was the Wrong Crew *at that time. well anyways i wanna say they have up'ed their game and their customer service is WAY WAY better than before. The poke bowl became a whole to-go Box for the large and not sure if the server just liked me but also super generous the last 2times i ordered. Everyone deserves a second chance. i'm glad i did. i'll be seeing you again soon!- lots of parking but kinda tricky entrances to this location -the Home Goods/Aldi/BevMo / Fed Ex /El Pollo Loco Plaza. ******oops- this review is for the one in Escondido!! lol my bad! :D

    Regular bowl at almost $18

This was my first and last time here. The servers are kind of rude and not helpful at all. The price of a regular bowl, (salmon, ahi tuna, and spicy tuna) is EXPENSIVE at $17.81. I will say that it is a good portion size, but I was not impressed by the quality of the fish. The salmon was soft and buttery and the spicy tuna was flavored very well but the ahi tuna had so many pieces with skin left on which made it chewy. But what gives this restaurant a one star is that I got a random piece of fish that must have fallen into one of the trays (I think it was the seared ahi tuna since it was cooked on all sides except the middle) and it was PUTRID rotten. Like, absolutely horrendous to the point of me gagging and spitting it out. I will never go back to this place.

Amazing Food! Super good but pricy since it is poki. Workers are nice but don't work the quickest. The place is nice and clean and they also have amazing boba!

I love this location! The staff are always friendly and efficient when we visit. There was a long line on this particular occasion. The restaurant was clean despite heavy foot traffic. As always, my poke bowl was super tasty. The ingredients always seem to be fresh. By the time I add all of my toppings to my fish choices, I am left with a very hefty bowl of food. it's extremely filling and I often have leftovers. That way I get to enjoy two times. I love all the options to customize your bowl to include exactly what you want. This is better than when you go to a restaurant and order poke there. They don't necessarily have options for customization at other restaurants . So this is my definite go- to poke choice! They could add a few more tables to make the restaurant seem a bit more inviting. They have lots of empty floor space.

We went for lunch and we were able to walk right up and order. They had more choices of fish than I thought they would. The serving size was pretty big. I was able to save half for dinner. It was clean and very open.

The health department should pay them a visit. Their tables are covered with sticky black goo. They know it and the owner doesn't care. See the pictures. The tables are not properly finished. There was a thin layer of urethane that has worn off in many places and now food is sticking to the tables and I can't get it off. The tables need to be stripped in a proper layer of urethane applied.

I had an amazing experience here this afternoon. My boyfriend and I stopped by so I could get some boba today. I got the Brown sugar milk tea with brown sugar boba and it was 10/10 exactly what I was craving!!! They had so many options for milk tea including a variety of boba and adds on. I also love poke but didn't try any today...I will be back though!! Definitely check this place out for boba.

Ordered 2 regular bowls for about $35 including tip. The plates were absolutely stacked and pretty affordable considering its poke. I liked how they had seared ahi tuna as a protein option, never really seen that at other poke shops. They had limited sauce and topping options in comparison to other spots, but they had all the essential ones you'd expect. Process was simple and quick. The flavors and quality of fish was okay; I've had better, but it's still really good for the price. I was able to split my bowl into 2 separate meals. The interior of the shop is pretty clean as well. Overall, would come again if I'm looking for a cheap poke spot.

Food (4/5 stars): Pretty solid poké place in Vista! I appreciated the generous portions and all the toppings. The fish wasn't the freshest, but the eel sauce and spicy mayo made up for it Experience (3/5 stars): * Price: quite pricey * Wait Time: egregiously long on a Tuesday night. They were severely understaffed * Service: good and friendly * Parking: there's ample parking in the Vista Village * Ambiance: it's a simple and casual poké spot

Large serving sizes! Wow! They load up the toppings and everything tastes so fresh. I love the location as it is centrally located in Vista and right across the movie theatres. Will be back again if I'm in Vista.

So I keep trying new spots hoping one finally hits. I'd driven past Urban Teri Kitchen a bunch of times taking my kids to practices and games and finally decided to stop in. Didn't even check Yelp first. Just went in blind based on a good feeling about the place. Glad I did. I ordered the half-and-half with chicken teriyaki and katsu, and honestly it was one of the better teriyaki plates I've had anywhere around here. The chicken was flavorful, the katsu was crispy without being greasy, and everything tasted fresh. It's a little pricier than some teriyaki spots, but the quality backs it up. My wife and I could easily split one order next time. I came in around 4 PM, so it wasn't packed, but the people inside looked happy, the restaurant was clean, and the whole place just had a really good vibe. Sometimes you can tell within a minute whether a place cares about what they're doing, and this felt like one of those spots. There's a reason they've got 4.7 stars. If anything, I'd say that rating is deserved.

Scanned the QR code on the big banner from the outside and checked out their menu. Saw lumpia and thought it was a Filipino spot). Saw they had a happy hour menu and decided to check it out before our movie. The vibe we really cute and played reggae music. It was a relaxing, chill atmosphere with lots of tvs. The server, Jaz was really nice, friendly and very hospitable. She spoke of their Guamanian food, heritage and community. They've been in the current spot for the last 7 or 8 months, so fairly new, but were down the street for many years before that. We ordered 2 different kinds of BBQ chicken wings. Two orders of the sweet chili glazed (Pine Doni) and one of the other which was like a honey bbq glazed style. All were supposed to have 6 wings, but the honey BBQ one had 5 (?). The sweet chili was our fave of the two. Their chicken empanadas were huge, and served 3 per dish, were delicious and crispy, with an aioli like sauce with a wonderful kick. The spam roll was a masubi-like and was good (husband said it was the best he's ever had). The side of mac salad had great flavor! Jaz brought us some red rice to try on the house and it was really good! It reminded me of Vietnamese chicken rice, with chicken broth infused into the rice, making it really tasty and savory. First time having Guamanian food and we're stoked we tried it! All in all, great food and awesome service! If you've never tried it before...put it on your list! You won't regret it!

The place is, of course, decorated with an island vibe (just like the restaurants in Guam but a little bit fancier-as well as the price), coupled with an island music playlist. We ordered the Maga Lahi ($46.99) comes with salad, 4 small scoops of red rice, chicken kelaguen, empanada, 4pcs each of grilled pork ribs (so tender the meat falls off the bone) and boneless chicken with finadene; chicken kelaguen appetizer that comes with 2 scoops of red rice and emapanadas (3pcs an order). Overall we gave a 3.5 stars for the food because having tried the "real deal" in Guam, we haven't found anything like it here in the mainland US. Our server was very attentive even when it was pretty busy on a Sunday lunch and he was working by himself.

Everything is flavorful and satisfying, and I usually order it to go. The only downside is the price. It's always been on the expensive side, but seeing one oxtail plate go up to $31 (+tax) makes it hard to justify coming here as often as I used to. The quality is still there, but the higher price means it'll probably be more of once a year meal. One thing to be aware of is that there's a surcharge even when paying with a debit card. Legally you're not supposed to add a charge when using debit card but I paid it anyways. It was an unexpected charge that other customers may want to know about. Ambience was okay. Service was nice. Overall, the food is delicious and worth trying, but between the rising prices and the added card surcharge, I'll likely be visiting once in a blue moon.

While the food was delicious, the wait time was a bit long for to-go. We only had one person ahead of us and it took over 25 minutes for our one order to be ready.
