I'm not even quite sure what to say about this last experience... first off they were out of spicy tuna... apparently it's mandatory that you order 3 scoops of rice even if you only want 1!!! Then I guess you're not allowed to only get 1 scoop of fish, either!! Does it matter how many scoops I'm getting if you're going to charge me for them anyway?!? My daughter wanted an extra scoop of crab which they said they were going to charge extra for!! Great food. Always fresh and on point. Many options. I did notice that they got rid of their small bowl option and raised the price a bit since opening this location. I wonder if it had anything to do with the rent of the center....I've heard it's been an issue with some of the other places. But, I still like going here. Staff is always friendly. I think the managers or owners? are they sometimes and just peak out from the back but don't actually help guests (and they never ever have a smile on their face) which I thought was strange. read more

With Poké being a growing trend in this area my wife and I have tried a number of places that have popped up and Poki Poki is still our favorite. They don't skimp on the fish, the flavors in the sauce they use for the fish is exactly what I'm looking for in a poké bowl and having the ability to adjust the heat is great. They have a wide variety of toppings for you to choose from which leaves you with a good sized meal for a great price. We are definitely going to be regulars at all three locations. read more

So happy to finally live near a Poke restaurant ^_^ Im a die hard fan of these tasty bowls and you can tell that these shops are trending like wildfire in North County. Just about every corner you turn you can find a place wipping up a poke bowl. This place is located right across from the Cinepolis movie theater, the inside is very spacious and their iconic menu is located hanging right above the staff who are eagerly ready to start packing your bowl to your hearts content! The menu is built of three different bowl prices (small, regular and large) my fat ass went with the large right out the gate which include 4 scoops of fish and a choice of white rice, chips or salad. I went with rice and doubled up on Salmon, scoop of spicy tuna and a scoop of shrimp. Your bowl moves down the food line just like subway and each person standing in front of their food station will ask you "what would you like?" Very easy and simple system to understand even if it is your first time experiencing this trending phenom lol. I chose to eat my bowl at their restaurant and was very pleased with my decision to come there. My bowl was definitely heavy and packed with soooooo much food that it ended up becoming my actual dinner later that day lol. Overall, I really digged their music they were playing, how clean and friendly everyone was and the location was great. I am currently enjoying my delicious poki bowl and have no problem with the quality of the food. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the service. The young lady behind the counter could've been having a bad day or something along the lines, but as a costumer I don't think I was approached with the correct service. I felt that I was treated rudely and unprofessional. This may not be the case for future customers and like I said she could've just been having a stressful day. read more

This place a month ago would have got 5 stars , I use to come here every day since they opened. But in the last 3 weeks they got real cheap on there scoops and started charging 50 cent a scoop for extra crab meat ! I use to get fool but mow I am still hungry read more

So I found this location by accident as I was Googling one Sushi Bowl place I ended up here it was a great mistake,, depending on the time of day you can get in and out but don't go during Peak after school hours the traffic is a nightmare the parking lot isn't that bad but just getting to it can make you want to scream the staff are all young energetic and very friendly read more

First time coming here and I wasn't too thrilled because you only get two scoops of meat and the bowll sizes are a lot smaller and it's still $10 my go to place I'm just going to have to drive to Oceanside and go to Wicked poki because they give you a nice sized bowl and like four scoops of meat plus crab meat that's included at no extra charge for still $10 unfortunately I won't be coming here anymore two stars because it still tastes great read more

Formally something a little different from the norm of type of restaurants hugging theaters and etc... they are a little more common place where I'm from. Their prices might be a bit high depending on your budget of course. Clean restroom and clean floors, very inviting staff, and absolutely delicious food. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to catch great meal. I'm a very very picky eater, and this restaurant has you choose the base and additional foods, build your own bowl for the most part. Please do try them out. It's worth it read more

I am grieved to have to write this negative review but I have enjoyed Poke Poke 3 to 4 times per month since they opened and I'm afraid that I will no longer be going there. What is the reason? No more yellowtail! So I'm using this forum to tell the owner (and I hope many more do) that Eliminating yellowtail from your fish choices is a terrible decision that will cost you business. Came here after my son's soccer game and they did not disappoint. The customer service was awesome and the food was freshly made. They also give out good size portion scoops. The place was very clean with lots of seating for their customers. I would definitely recommend coming here to have Poki. read more

Reverse the signs! Such a good place but I had to give a 4 star because I got confused reading the signs and trying to figure out what to order. I thought I was supposed to order my drink first the way it was set up. My vision isn't so good so I could not read the signs without being directly in front of them. The first time I ate here they had just opened and the food was good. Defiantly not the best Poke I've had but decent. They have slowly declined in both service and quality. The restaurant has no AC and is hot and muggy, not so great when your serving raw fish! The people working always seem annoyed and so un-happy! It reeks of poor management. The bowls in general are just ok and the ingredients and quality of fish seem cheap. Save your money and drive a little farther to wicked Poki in Oceanside they are outstanding all around! read more

Fast and good! I feel slightly glutinous when I basically ask them to put All of the toppings on but it is just too good! Had a shrimp and salmon poki bowl with spicy miso which wasn't that spicy but it's ok. Highly recommend if your craving sushi on your lunch break! read more
