    Salmon Small Bowl

Prices decent. Not many side options to add compared to other poki places, like there's no edamame and you can only choose of 3 options between crab, avocado or seaweed salad. Quality of fish was good, but rice tasted a bit old and sitting for some time. The salmon was fresh and was fresh.

I haven't been back for years, but still holds its ground! Glad they kept the quality high. They have rolls now also.

I was craving for poki bowl and found it restaurant. They offer poki bowl in three different sizes.. size small gives you two of proteins. I picked salmon and scallop. While the salmon tasted very fresh, but scallop not so much. I still enjoyed my food though. I probably will pick another protein instead of scallop next time. Parking: parallel street parking

I ordered from here the other night for my son through DoorDash and he was really happy with the food. On my way home tonight he asked if I could grab it for him again, so I went ahead and went in person. The gentleman that was working the station was super polite and was kind enough to help me out as this type of food is not generally the type of food I eat. I showed him the DoorDash order that my son ordered previously and he was kind enough to scroll through and remake what my son had ordered last time. The restaurant itself was very quiet not too many people inside. Seemed like a very serene placed to just enjoy a nice meal. It's on the corner of a very busy street, but you can't hear much of the hustle and bustle outside the doors. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars is because the parking here sucks. Street parking here is very hard to find and not convenient at all because of the housing that surrounds the Plaza along with the ice rink that is just feet away. Other than that... my son loves so I do too!

I'm actually amazed I've never reviewed this spot! I love coming here! They give a good amount of food in my bowl! The workers are super friendly and it's a cute little spot under the harbor lofts. The decor is kinda random but it works. Highly recommend this spot, it never disappoints.

I ordered a small bowl with rice, salmon, and my choice of toppings, and I was really pleased with the quality of the ingredients--it tasted fresh and delicious. Service was quick, and it wasn't busy at all on the weekday I visited. Overall, I'd recommend this poke spot, but the parking situation was challenging enough that I'd be less likely to come frequently, even outside of peak lunch hours.

~ GREAT PRICED POKE ~ small $12 med $14.5 large $17.5 For the quality you get and the price you pay, this poke spot is SOOO WORTH IT! I normally get their salmon, yellowtail, and scallops. Every time I go in there's usually a lot of people but the service is pretty fast so I don't have to wait long. There's lots of seating if you want to eat inside! THEY ALSO HAVE A POINT SYSTEM SO DEFINITELY ADD YOUR NUMBER FOR REWARDS!

If you're visiting downtown Anaheim, you have to try Pokinomentry! Not only do they have the best poke in Anaheim, but the best poke I've ever had in California! The service is not only exceptional, but the people who work there are amazing! Not only do they provide fresh fish, the portions are large, and the food tastes delicious! Pokinometry is a small hole-in-the-wall restaurant nestled at the edge of downtown Anaheim. Not only is the restaurant large, there are murals on every wall, and overall is a great place to enjoy your meal. Jeff,Brad, and Jose all helped us with our orders today. They were happy, helpful, very nice, friendly, and they engaged with us! They also were generous with toppings and paced our bowls with a lot of food! You're able to customize your poke bowl to your liking. They also have other food options if you're not in the mood for poke. They not only offer large portions, they give you a lot of food for what you pay for. Everyone who works there is not only nice, but they are nice people! I live further than I used to when I'd come here, but I know when I'm going to downtown Anaheim, that I'm going to eat at Pokinometry! Please try Pokinometry, you won't be disappointed!

Right across from Disneyland, our night ended with an up close view of the Disneyland fireworks. Everything tasted amazing. We ordered the Nori and Cheese Fries, Tofu Seafood Salad, 2 Double Shrimp Tempura Rolls, Rainbow Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll, and Spicy Tuna Roll. My mouth is watering from writing this review... The rolls were large, flavorful, and had good amounts of fish. High quality fish here. My personal favorites were the salmon and tuna rolls. The salmon was rich and fatty. The spicy tuna had a mild kick of spice, making it enjoyable for almost any spice tolerance. I noticed the wasabi and soy sauce were milder than what I'm used to. This restaurant was moderately busy during dinner on a Friday night. Service was timely and staff were attentive. Our waters were regularly refilled and they checked on our table throughout our meal. The restaurant fully validates parking here. Don't forget to get your ticket validated!

It ended up being much more casual than we expected, with an atmosphere that felt like stepping into a restaurant from the '90s inside an older hotel. Not necessarily a bad thing--just different from what we had in mind for a birthday dinner. That said, the food was excellent and definitely the reason we'd come back. I also really enjoyed their selection of Japanese-inspired beers, which paired perfectly with the meal and were a fun addition to the experience. We started with the spicy edamame, which was good, though not a showstopper. The Chef's 10-piece nigiri was the highlight of the meal. Every piece was fresh and delicious, but the yellowtail and unagi were absolute standouts. We also ordered the spicy salmon roll, which was really good, and the double shrimp tempura roll, which was exactly what you want from a tempura roll--you really can't go wrong with it. Our server was very kind and friendly, but service wasn't especially attentive. It seemed like they may have been understaffed, so there were longer waits between check-ins than we would have liked. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the food and drinks. If you're looking for high-quality sushi and don't mind a nostalgic, old-school atmosphere, Hanagi is worth checking out. Just go in expecting excellent food rather than a luxurious dining experience.

The Yellowtail Jalapeño was perfectly spicy and had the umami I appreciate. The micro greens and tomato were nice additions to the plate. The Coconut Shrimp Roll had coconut shrimp, coconut mayo, and shaved coconut. This was a surprisingly delightful combination. The Lemon Salmon Roll was very good, but could've benefited from a sauce. The Caliente and Golden Tiger Rolls were also tasty. I would return for more rolls, cold signature plates, and their Uni Pasta.
